Don’t find changing it every year worth my while, the feature updates tend to be minor and/or not something I care about for the most part, my utilisation needs in a phone are pretty basic and something the average contemporary phone can cater to, but the simplicity of Apple’s iOS is what keeps me

oh now dont get me wrong, i am not saying that i use the iphone4 at all. its strictly used as a music player. i have another newer iPhone than the iPhone 4. the iphone 4 was my fiirst ever iPhone so i have kept it . still looks brand new. always kept it in a cover and a screen. i mean you cant even download any apps on the iphone 4 today. well i did start out with samsung but somehow i converted to the iphone and the iPhone does feel like it is sturdier and more rugged than the samsung. like they used tougher metals. the samsung is kinda plasticky. and so i prefer the iphones. so for me its about the sturdiness of it and not necessarily the name

Ok I see, cool. Just pulling your legs lol not all people with iPhones are necessarily ‘sheep’ and not all people with Samsungs (or androids in general) are ‘non conformist’ either lol.

I prefer iPhones for the simplicity and seamlessness of the user interface. Plus the convenience of the eco system when you have other apple products. If I were to change it would probably be to a Pixel or Samsung

also i dont like big phones. has to fit in my palm and my pocket without bulging. hence why i am not usually interested in these huge newer phones. if i want something huge i would get an ipad or tablet. a phone is supposed to be small. of course this is my philosophy

Although transitioning from the iPhone 4 to most current phones will feel like a massive jump in size since if I recall well the iPhone 4 is pretty small. I think the only phone smaller was the 5? I think phones onwards from the 6 have been fairly consistent as far as size (bar slight weight differences here and there), it’s mostly the shape that’s been changing for the most part

I think we’re currently on iOS 16 and if I’m correct the last iOS to work on iPhone 4 is iOS 7…to be honest as long as it works and still fulfils your functional needs that’s all that matters lol

Sure get the 14 if you genuinely want it, does it have to be an iPhone? Dunno why but you struck me as more of a Samsung guy, one of those ‘non conformisty’ types grin

to be honest with you i dont really need a new one. i mean i could use an ugrade but its just that all my uk banking is tied to my phones IMEI number and so i kinda feel like i am stuck with this one because trying to explain to them that i got a new phone and i am in Nigeria sounds like a tough sell if i am trying to switch all my details and apps to a new phone. its like these people are not comfortable with any changes to your account coming from nigeria, but once in a while i flirt with the idea of getting a new one
