It's people like you that make the country to keep going back to the old generation for solution to our problems. The future better not belong to the Nigerian kind of youth found on this forum. It's a wasted generation! shouldnt the president also be probing the people who instigated and escalated this issue when they swear that they will make the country ungovernable for gej after losing the elections? so must we always leave the root and attack the branches? the money in question is huge but I think the president shud also beam his searchlight on who fuel the crisis in that region. must we be buying arms to eliminate people everytime, money that shud be channeled to development n infrastructure. |

Chidozieude: This is the problem with PDP minions
They keep putting up redundant and useless tweets from a very negligible section of the Nigerian population without making any constructive criticism.
Even if Nigeria transforms to Dubai in the next 1-2 years, out of the hatred for Buhari , some people will still complain.
You don't win elections by highlighting problems, you win them by providing or suggesting sane solutions to problems- (Chidozieude,2015)
So far, the PDP has not offered any solution to the problems created by 16 years of misrule by their party. If they are not supporting IPOD youths, they are blaming the government for fighting corruption.
Whether the PDP likes it or not, Nigerians made their choice at the Presidential elections. If Buhari does not perform as expected, he will be replaced in 2019. For now, Nigerians know that there is a lot of work to be done.
We will wait and be patient.
Thanks pls can u tell us how apc won the last election? what solutions did they profer concerning the problems that was on ground during the last admin? where they not d ones that politicised boko haram insurgency, demeaning the nigerian army and celebrating anytime a bomb goes off in the north east region? bros fear God . |

citizenisb: http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/11/we-can-no-longer-pay-n18000-minimum-wage-govs-cry-out/
ABUJA – Thirty-six States Governors have said that they can no longer pay the N18,000 minimum wage to workers owing to the poor state of the economy.
Rising from a crucial meeting on that ended at the early hours of Thursday at the Old Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja under the umbrella of Nigerian Governors Forum, NGF, the governors said that the dwindling prices of oil had drastically affected their States’ income.
Specifically, they said that the burden of the wage was lighter when oil sold at $126 as against the current $41 per barrel.
They therefore sought to have audience with President Muhammadu Buhari on the economy, resolving that the only way out of the quagmire was to diversify the economy to agriculture and mining.
Reading the communique issued at the end of the meeting, the Chairman of the Forum and governor of Zamfara state, Abdulaziz Yari hinted that the Forum also backed the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) over the N2.1trillion sanction on MTN.
According to him, the governors agreed that the fine must be paid in full.
He said that they received briefing from the Acting Executive Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of NCC, Professor Umar Dambata who explained the matter to them.
He said: “We resolved that we must look at ways to enhance revenue generation and at the same time look at ways to cut our overhead costs more especially the political office holders’ salaries and other overhead expenses.
“The situation is no longer the same when we were asked to pay N18,000 minimum wage, when oil price was $126 (per barrel) and continued paying N18,000 minimum wage when the oil is $41 and the source of government expenditure is from oil, and we have not seen prospects in the oil industry in the near future.
“We will diversify our economy in the area of agriculture and mining. But at the same time, we should understand our situation where some of us (states) today are taking N100million take home (monthly allocation) and then have salaries in particular of over N2billion to pay.
“We therefore agreed here to take this suggestion to NEC in our meeting tomorrow (Thursday) so that we can be able to find ways to tackle this problem. can u see y dis people no want make biafra go? chai dis peoples has finis awa oyel. |

Booyakasha: Nigerian Problems:
In the north, if you go worship in a mosque or church you'll end up being bombed.
If you are walking in the street, you'll get hit by stray bullets from robbers.
If you stay back at home with your family, the same gang of robbers will come visiting to loot you of your wealth.
If you board a cab, you will get into an accident.
If you decide to trek, some local area boys will ask for tip and failure to do so makes you as good as dead.
If you don't go to school you won't be successful in life.
Whereas graduates are all over the street begging for menial jobs. They are no better than the dropouts out there.
If you are lucky enough to find a wife, your name will be on nairaland frontpage two weeks after your wedding: "wife stabs husband to death over N100,000"
If you decide not to get married at all, then your own family will kill you with mental pressure.

seunmsg: Absolute trash from Mimiko. It was okay for Fayose to refer to a federal government policy as fraud even when he is ignorant of the facts as regards the agreement. During the PDP era, it was perfectly okay for Patience Jonathan to refer to Buhari as brain dead. But now that APC is in power, it is so wrong to unleash verbal war on opposition figures who clearly are very ignorant about the issues they are talking about.
If PDP and characters like Fayose wish to be treated and addressed with respect, they should limit their criticism to issues that they are knowledgeable about. If they continue throwing insults around, Lai Mohammed will continue to respond in kind. who was buhari when pat gej refered to him as brain dead? Who was he? Lai mo'd is still not conversant with the new role he is now, he thinks he is still a boy to tinubu. I plead with pdp to tolerate and endure him, if possible he shud submit himself for elementary lecturing on how to be a fg spokeman. |
