Those musicians that didn't show up are arrogant, especially marvin crew. They are feeling like heaven and earth then forget nothing last forever. No matter the way things are, always show respect.

In everything you do always remain humble.

Those artists that didn't show up are all hypocrite! How much is their networth Are they up to $500k? No!
Mavin's crew are actually in Ivory Coast doing a concert. the Headies of this year was badly timed for many artistes that had Christmas shows to attend. money before glory abeg
PhonesRe: Stay Away From Gionee Phones by ibolomo(m):
Gionee is an awesome brand, and the fact that one phone you were unlucky enough to buy had issues doesn't mean the brand as a whole is sub-par. Have been using Gionee M5 for a few months now and I love it, I have never had a complaint, the battery is SUUUUPERBB and the interface is just lovely. If you have issues with your phone and truly bought it through the right channels, it shouldn't be an issue to cash in your warranty and demand a new one. PERIOD!!

I will no longer dignify your silly rants with responses, and for your own good, I will advise you not to upload your account details online, but I guess you are too stupid to know that, just like you are too stupid to see MMM for the scam it really is.
And no, thank you, I don't and never will want or need your money, and I will never do MMM either with my money or someone else's, because I am not the bumbling empty-brained idiot that you are. I am waiting for the screenshot ooo!
And by the way, Dundee is the fifth largest city in Australia, and not an insult, but I guess you are too brain-drained to know that.

Merry Christmas in advance. You can come to my house on Christmas and New Year for some food and drinks, you seem to be a charitable cause! At least I can use your case to pray to God that I never be foolish enough to dump my life savings in a ponzi scheme. Once again, Merry Christmas and happy new year in "Brokelyn"

I'm totally amazed at your stupidity/ignorance. So because she has interviewed heads of states, she is now a millionaire.

You should have said all bankers are trillionaires since they handle everyone's money.

For your frustrated and bitter soul, my money wasn't trapped there which means I can feed you, your dad and mum for the next years to come.
You wey never feed yourself grin grin grin
First, I said "probably". Secondly, you meant to imply that she was a HUNGRY and ATTENTION SEEKING Nigerian. I simply provided evidence to the contrary. And as I said before, she released the said video a week before the freeze, people only decided to bring it up now that her 'prophecy' has come to pass. She may not be stinkingly rich but at least she is not a hungry and bitter soul as you. And by the way, does the fact that your money wasn't trapped in this crooked scheme (brought about by a convict that was jailed by his own nation for FRAUD) indicate that you are able to feed yourself, not to talk of other people? I read the several hate posts you spewed over this MMM issue and I doubt the truthfulness of your statement.
And by the way, I and my family don't require the 'help' of some crooked ponzi scheme to make ends meet, and we are wise enough to do research concerning schemes before jumping in like mindless fools.

Truely evil.WAEC stop distroying these children. In the process you are technically discouraging the future leaders for this your alleged exam malpractices that u cannot prove.Somebody somewhere should call this unbecoming institution to order. 13,488 just too great a number,Haba.
I can shout it at the mountain tops that the number of candidates that engaged in one form of exam malpractice or the other is more than double the number of results that were withheld. I have personal experiences as to withholding of results and I can say that 9.9 out of 10 withheld results were products of examination malpractice. For instance, in a school of about 150 candidates, of all the withheld results, I could only point to 1 person who I knew didn't engage in underhand practices whose result was withheld. When I saw the people whose results were withheld, I wondered if there was a WAEC spy amongst the candidates; they were all people who would gather under trees thirty minutes to the exams for some unscroupulous elements to post the questions and answers online. There was even an incident where the "online helpers" apparently couldn't lay hands on the mathematics question paper and decided to send the previous year's questions to the "customers". Omo see sweating for exam hall grin grin grin
Bottomline of my long story is that most of those whose results were withheld engaged in malpractice.

Really bro? She is probably more well to do than you can ever be, she interviews Heads-of-States, she was amongst the priviledged journalists to attend and interview Heads of State in the UN convention earlier this year. she has interviewed Buhari- twice! She has even met with the President of the country where she lives (Obama- USA). Is she hungry? NO! An attention seeker? NO! I watched this video about a week before the "freezing business" occured, I was like "this girl is a prophet!".
If you are pained that your investments got frozen in MMM, take that out by adopting one of the following options: hit your head on an electric pole, hug a transformer, jump into the lagoon, stand in front of a train, or buy two yards of strong rope, find the nearest iroko tree and do the needful!

feodan:
ON MMM: ‘WE WILL RATHER NOT REMAIN AS WE WERE’

December 13, 2016 was a day they’ve all been waiting for, doomsayers, naysayers; oh how they relished the opportunity, oh how their hormonal levels were raised, it was the “I told you so” moment they had so much longed for. It was probably the best thing to happen to some of them in months, miserable fellows, in their warped mind-set and tinted realities, they would rather have everybody remained as they were.
These set of people, because of their stubborn resolve to not open their mind to learning/ re-learning and because of their too cautious approach ride on a high horse of sheer ignorance and will blare Ponzi scheme at every given opportunity even when confronted with facts and realities as regards MMM. This group of people would rather remain as they were while others around them are making progress; the only thing positive in their outlook is waiting for a day when they will have the opportunity to mock the fate of others, the opportunity to say with gusto “I was right”. They fail to realize that life itself is a risk, when you take risks, you win some and you lose some, not taking risks at all because of not wanting to lose makes one the ultimate loser. Even though some of them have been barely making ends meet and have directly or indirectly benefitted from the ‘MMM’ money they have so derided, this ephemeral moral victory is enough to fill their probably empty bellies.
What I know and I know so well is ‘’even if MMM crashes’’ and given the circumstances, I will still participate over and over again, a resolution that applies to millions of other participants who have imbibed the MMM ideology. I make bold to say that this is the only platform that has brought smiles to the faces of millions of Nigerians and made millionaires of out of them in such a short period of time!!! No government policy or initiative in recent times has brought more hope and succour in such a short time span. It has rather been a plethora of unfulfilled promises, dashed hopes, sorrows tears and blood. In actual fact, government has been the biggest Ponzi operator in Nigeria, robbing and ripping citizens off for the benefit of a corrupt and undeserving few. Folks that have seemingly lost all hopes and disconcerted with happenings around them now approach life with renewed confidence and enthusiasm, dead businesses now have new life injected into them, students have been able to pay their tuition, crimes have arguably been reduced and even the economy hasn’t been left out, with increased liquidity and trade volumes at a time when recession has almost stifled life out of the Nigerian economy.
I know of folks who barely had tens of thousands in their bank accounts who now have hundreds of thousands, not to talk of those that are now millionaires, who probably never had such hopes at least not anytime soon. Those naysayers would have rather we traded all of that and remain like we ‘were’.
Some believe that MMM participants are lazy and greedy folks, but the fact is amongst these participants are great minds, intellectuals and professionals that cut across different fields and sectors of the economy, contributing their own quota to the growth of the economy, in fact when one looks at the farthest right side of the Mavro section on the MMM platform, there is a space titled ‘dreams’, meaning that MMM expects you to pursue your dreams, goals and aspirations with what you make from the system. MMM only wants to bridge the gap between the rich and the poor, MMM only wants to make things easier for people when they pursue their dreams and aspirations. Some believe that the only way to make it in life is to work hard and harder, and anyone with riches that have not been seen/ viewed to work hard in their distorted realities must have cut corners or been a fraud. While this is not to cast away the place of working hard in pursuing one’s dream, it must be realised that having access to the right information sometimes is only what is needed to make a headway in life and not necessarily working hard, this is what distinguishes between the rich and the poor, the rich always have access to the right information to stay ahead of the pack and even pay over the top to get it.
Apparently, not all Nigerians will join MMM, not even half the population, but those that have willingly participated should not be unjustly castigated or maligned for the choices they have made as they wouldn’t judge the critical ones for the choices they make with their lives also, live and lets live; each man to his own. It’s high time these critical elements stopped acting like they are other people’s moral compass or like they are in a position to determine what is good for others. Nobody is forcing anybody to join MMM, let people just focus on what they do and find happiness in it, there isn’t much to life than that.
While these people may enjoy their and make a show of their momentary triumphalism, MMM will be back!! Better and stronger!!! And they will come again with their prediction of doom and gloom, patiently waiting for their moment of validation while Mavrodites will make bigger and bigger strides with their lives. And even if the malignant moment they are waiting for surfaces again, we will dwell on the good tides and happy memories it has brought us, because we’d rather be financially blessed because we were curious than broke because we were sceptical and because we know that life itself is inherently risky. There is only one big risk that should be avoided at all costs, and that is the risk of doing nothing!!!

No one is maligning anyone here, just that I don't want to hear wails of people who got swindled, or news of "men collapsing in banking halls", or people commiting suicide because of MMM. And yes, MMM will be back, but not in Nigeria, I believe they have moved their (rapidly moving) train to Kenya.

Don't mind all these people! Mmm has not crashed anywhere. Check out these screen shots. Also, when ultimate cycler was doing up grade, there was so much news. Now it's fully back, they don't even want to talk about it. Bunch of cynics!
Mister man, go and read about the past of MMM in all countries that it has so far gone to, Starting from Russia (the criminal and convict's country). I almost "invested" my money, but I did some research and discovered that it was one big scam, I now thank God for my decision, as I hate being swindled and making a "419-ner" feel like he is smart, even though whatever money I put in would have been inconsequencial (I don't drop my life savings for anything).
Starting from Russia, to Zimbabwe, South Africa, the scheme crashed and many people lost their lives due to it, what made you think that Nigeria would be different?
A question you should ask yourself is that, do you think anyone would want to pump money into MMM come January? The panic MMM created with the sudden freeze of the accounts will make everyone want help, and I believe no one will provide such help, so where will they get money to pay to the swarming population of people seeking to withdraw their cash? The only thing they can do is to pay out people themselves (which I seriously doubt they will be willing to do), if they are to restore trust in the scheme.
Anyways, I sympathise with all my brothers that will have to celebrate Christmas with nothing, my heart really goes out to you.

Among the reasons I wouldn't want Clinton is that I wouldn't want a woman to rule me.

Clinton winning this election is as if a woman is actually ruling the so called "most powerful" nation in the world.

Even UK where they have woman as Queen, Prime minister, being both head of government and administration. If it were in this part of the world, they would have lebelled it archaic.

Thank God for the part of the world I hail from. Men are the pillars while women actually belong to the kitchen and the other room.

I doubt that you understand the full implications of the outcome of the US general elections on the world. Voting a wrong president might effectively mark the end of the human race as we know it. If an unstable president is voted in, as someone who hasa particularly deadly arsenal, including a nuclear football at his/her disposal, may effectively start world war three.

LiteratureRe: My Honest Observation And Critique Of Americanah By Chimanda Adichie by ibolomo(m):
all you have written are subjective to people's perspective of the issues portrayed in her book, feminists for instance may not tow your line of thinking, and every work has an audience, I believe the book isn't for everyone. I for one prefer seeing movies or reading books that have a touch of 'evil', like deadpool, KANU: the journal of a rogue and Black Maria, 'hero' movies and books seem quite superficial and unreal to me. That she appeals to an audience other than you with ONE book does not make her irresponsible and morally lackadaisical. And I personally think her painting the US as a racially segregative country, and that trying tooth and nail to go to such a country may not be worth all the trouble, for me, is a welcome idea. Much of what you wrote are idealistic and not what obtains in real life, and Chimamanda trying to be a little more real shouldn't be much of a problem for people whose moral compass still points North. Just my 2 cents though.

Sir, there's a book I'm also looking for, i can't remember the title of the book or Author (most have been Cyprian Ekwensi or Elechi Amadi).

I remember, the story was about a boy who met a man, a Northerner in the train. This man goes on to tell the boy or amaze the boy with stories of his adventures. I think the train was traveling from Lagos - Kano.

I would be glad if you can help me recall the title of the novel, i won't call it a proper novel, it's more like a story book. Just a few pages long.
I believe the story is "The passport of Mallam Ilya".
Tragic story.
