Danpersie31:First off, the Bible did NOT say we should discern scripture, we are to read understand Scripture with the help of the Holy Spirit. What we are to discern is the Spirit behind every form of doctrine, teaching or prophecy (1 John 4:1. What a 'pastor' says at times may be theologically accurate, or a prophecy that is also accurate, but the Spirit that influenced such a teaching or prophecy may be wrong (John 8:44, Acts 16). This is why we were asked to discern spirits to know which prophecies, 'men of God', teachings and doctrines are really of God. Selective Gospel on the other hand is choosing to willingly neglect what is found in the Bible, not what is said by some Pastor. |
gocac:America has a very strong military force, if not the strongest in the world. Nuclear weapons the size of which was used in Hiroshima and Nagasaki look like toys compared to what the US has. I just hope we never find out, cos planet earth WILL NOT survive WWIII. I am sure many of the sci-fi stuff we see in movies are already being developed if not completed, and the "alien sitings" were most likely the US testing their tech. I just shiver at the thought. |
Cityfirstborn:What if he then confesses to her that he is also HIV positive, so they can have sex as often as possible? *in Dj Kaleed's voice* You played yourself |
they keep finding cures for diseases, but can they hurry up and find cure for national wickedness? This disease is killing us softly |
Smellymouth:And how is what they posted judging anyone? So because you are not to judge, you are no longer allowed to say what is wrong is wrong? You should check the context and meaning of the passage you quoted before wielding it as a defence for sin. |
iraborosasu:They don't have a church. And no, I don't believe they would accept such money. They are one of the very few Ministries in Nigeria I can beat my chest over for integrity. |
Shiitposter:And you think that Nigeria or any other country for that matter would survive WWIII? "I don't know with what weapons WW III will be fought, but WW IV will be fought with sticks and stones" |

greatgod2012:His ability to break down the word into sizeable and digestible portions that make impact. I once listened to his sermon of almost two hours that was based on 1 verse, I didn't even notice time fly by. "For whoever enters the sheepfold not by the door but any other means, the same is a thief and a robber" |
I will not say the BEST but the ones that have influenced me the most. 1. Brother Gbile Akanni 2. Apostle Joshua Selman Nimmak 3. Pastor David Ogbueli 4. Pastor Chris Delvan Gwamna 5. Pastor Chingtok Ishaku |
Treasuredlove:I personally respected her too, that is why I gave her the benefit of the doubt. I do not support what she has done, but we should not be quick to judge and slay her on social media without knowing what actually transpired, with many ex-warriors crying and trolling more than the bereaved. |
iamsea:What the husband saw in Stella that was lacking in Doris should be the topic of conversation. Whatever would make a right thinking (responsible looking) man to dump his wife and take sole custody of the child is something of concern. She might have been doing drugs and drinking herself to a stupor for all we know, and child looks even better with Stella and his dad than previous photos, showing the child is not suffering. I was a little jealous at the guy's swag sef. lol |

mvem:I never said that, please provide a scripture where polygamy is forbidden for a child of God? here is the comment I gave to someone else in this topic: where is it written in the scripture you keep quoting that polygamy is allowed? It only talks about the proceeds of such polygamous act, and that any man who marries more than a wife should not be irresponsible to reject one's child and accept the other. So far, you have failed to give more than one passage to support your ideology. Any theological ideology that lacks two to three passages to support is just plain wrong. "For in the mouth of two to three witnesses shall the truth be established": that is standard theological practice. Also, I would like you to show a passage where polygamy ended in a favourable ending. starting from Abraham (who ended up chasing the second 'wife' away) and only married again after Sarah died. David, who married several wives ended up pitching one against the other, (Absalom killing his half brother, Amnon). Solomon, the king of polygamy, his love for many women plotted his downfall. I could go on and on, but polygamy NEVER pays, and the examples are abundant in scripture. again I restate, the design of God right from Genesis was that 1 man and 1 woman come together. If He wanted polygamy, He would have removed two ribs and made two Eves. It is also clearly stated (even in the early church where polygamy was rampant in the then Israel) that any one who has more than one wife is not allowed to serve as a leader or even a passive deacon, and is not considered as an Elder on the church, capable of giving counsel to people(1 Timothy 3:2, Titus 1:6) Now ask yourself why the Bible would say such if he wanted a Child of God to engage in polygamy. And by the way, every child of God is a King and Priest (Revelations 1:6)(a leader, first to his family, and then to others), so if a leader is not allowed to have two wives, and every child of God (a married man) is essentially a leader (a priest), what does that infer? Finally, the Bible says that whatever would cause a brother to stumble, we should refrain from doing it (Roman's 14:13, 1 Corinthians 8:13). Also, the Bible says that all things may be lawful, but not all things are expedient (1 Corinthians 10:23). Many people will see a polygamous Christian as a bad example, and it may even cause people to stumble (leave Christ). So even IF polygamy is remotely allowed in scripture, it would still be wrong to do it. God bless you and Good evening |

Shafiiimran99:God's original plan is made obvious in the book of Genesis (which I quoted earlier but you chose to ignore). 1 man and 1 woman come together to become 1 flesh. that is what the Bible says. and the Mark I quoted is arguably the most comprehensive passage Jesus gave on the intent of God for marriage. you can read the whole chapter for context. And as per the Deuteronomy passage you quoted, it does not support polygamy, but says how inheritance should be shared IF the marriage is polygamous. I stated that God did not inherently rebuke polygamy, but it was not part of his original plan, which is made abundantly obvious in scripture, some of which I quoted to you. You should refer to Matthew chapter 19:4-6 also. and by the way, most Christians know that divorce is forbidden, under certain circumstances, any Christian who claims ignorance is either a bread and butter Christian or chooses to lie to himself |
idris4r83:Theoretically, it will not. but because of other factors, such as moisture on the slippers, sweat on the feet, and stupidity and lack of maintenance and obedience of electrical guidelines by PHCN and electricians that connect light to our homes, trying to cut corners and reduce cost (in earthing for instance) , if you touch live wire, even with slippers, na your death certificate you sign so. No try am ooo. even the teacher who taught us while in secondary school immediately gave a disclaimer, that we shouldn't try it |
Ebookmathswaec:I can remember that we were taught those days. I think the voltage at which an insulator conducts electricity (where voltage exceeds internal resistance) is called threshold voltage or conductive voltage. It's been a while tho |
jaymichael:Bros, try hot 4 pro and thank me later, or note 3. gionee, the only thing I enjoyed was battery, even the software was not stable |
Ahdeh:Battery life of Infinix is awesome, but not as awesome as Gionee, especially M5. that phone is a beast. I used the battery at 50% to watch two Indian movies, and it was still alive long enough for me to find somewhere to charge. |
jaymichael:Abveeegi. I have used all three, and user experience is NOT one of the advantages of Gionee. The software and interface for Gionee is rigid, difficult to navigate and boring. I have used Gionee M5 and am currently using Infinix Hot 4 Pro, and I will choose Infinix a thousand times over.. Tecno is usually good, but I hate their phones cos it must have a huuuge disadvantage. like the new Camon CX having high end specs with stupid 3000 man battery. |
I think the greatest reason is complacency. The guy stops being romantic and the lady stops being attractive. But do you still study for the interview after getting the job? Living together with someone tends to expose their flaws more. |
PaperLace:Mark 10:2-12 shows that it was never God's intention that married people could divorce, but for people's hard-heartedness. verse 8-9 also shows God's intentions for marriage to be permanent, a fusion of two souls, that what he joined, no man (even a judge) should put asunder. |
Dottore:Not explicitly from what I can find in scripture. the only thing is that you cannot become any form of leader in church. 1Timothy 2:3 It was however, God's original design that marriage be between one man and one woman (Mark 10:6-8, Genesis 2:22) |
