I don't see any of the candidates getting 25% votes in 24 states including Abuja, But I see Obi winning at last, |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WQ0yUy5hLDk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4YWXjp6qi-U The Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi has vowed that if elected in 2023, he will lift 130 million Nigerians out of poverty. He made the statement after attending the NKST Synod in Mkar, Gboko Local Government Area (LGA) of Benue State. The former Governor of Anambra state said that it is a crucial matter that his administration will address so that the people who fall under the category would be able to provide for their family, send their children to school and contribute to the development of the nation. Obi made the pledge while speaking with newsmen at the JS Tarka stadium, Gboko, Gboko LGA of the state on Friday. The LP flagbearer’s comment comes on the back of the figures released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) which reports that 63 per cent of Nigerians lives below the poverty line. He said; “I came on the invitation of the Synod to talk to them about the next election, which I say is a crucial election. “Like I said, the release shows that Nigeria is about 216 million in population, and it is said that 130 million people are in poverty, that alone should be of concern to us, and that is my major concern too. “How do we get these people out of poverty? This to me is crucial, and that is why I am here to help them make the right choice. https://www.correctng.com/i-want-to-lift-130-million-nigerians-out-of-poverty-obi/

If this is the right path to toe at this time that the value of naira is depreciating, while the dollar is appreciating, with inflation hitting the roof top and insecurity on the rise coupled with hunger and starvation, high debt profile that may further increase, due to the money that will be spent on redesigning the naira, then, why is the Minister of finance, budget and national planning not telling Nigerians the need to redesign the naira if it's the most needed problem facing Nigeria that needs to be addressed urgently? I am sure that such questions are on the minds of every, well meaning Nigerian? Anyway, i just hope that the economist, Bawa is telling us the truth about having more governors in their watch lost.May God heal Nigeria. |

It was gathered that the man has been hearing of wife’s infidelity but there was no way to prove it, however, on one fateful day he got information that she was with her lover in a hotel room. The lecturer stormed the hotel in Mosoriot, Nandi and caught her red-handed with a student simply known as Brian. Local media reports that the man said his wife did not sleep at home the previous night while the young boy has been absent from regular classes during the day. The young student is said to be studying at Kenyan Medical Training College where the lecturer works. After catching them red-handed, the lecturer shamed called the attention of people and shamed his wife by taking photos and videos of them. A photo which surfaced online showed Brian in only his underwear as he did not have time to put on his clothes when the lecturer barged into the room. Whereas the man’s wife covered her face in shame when he kept trying to show her face on camera and berated her for her disloyalty.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSm92sIXT-M The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, on Wednesday, shared his story as a young resident of Lagos State, describing himself as a Lagosian who knows virtually every part of the Centre of Excellence. The 75-year-old said this during an interactive session at the Nigerian Guild of Editors in Lagos, where he was invited to discuss his plans for the country with regard to education, economy, security, and national unity, among others. “I’ve lived in Lagos since 1969, married in Lagos. I was here when all the roads, bridges, and flyovers were built – in my presence. There is no part in Lagos I have not lived,” Atiku said. The PDP candidate reeled off a list of Lagos neighbourhoods he resided in, including Victoria Island, Ikoyi, Aguda, and Anthony Village along Ikorodu Road. “I saw Lagos being built, from the old Carter Bridge. I tell people that we used to trek from V.I. to 1 Brickfield Road, Ebute Metta on foot to attend classes and then go back on foot. So, I must let you understand, I’m a Lagosian.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gmbI1eMnGPM Former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole said he invited the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) Peter Obi to commission projects in Edo State when he was governor of the state. He stated this on Wednesday at the inauguration of the Rumuepirikom Flyover in the Obio-Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State. Oshiomhole, who was Edo governor between 2008 and 2016, was invited to commission the project by Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike. According to him, executive exchanges have a way of communicating to the people that political divide is not war. “I listened to you (Wike) attentively and you said Peter Obi is coming tomorrow. I want to congratulate you for that because I also invited Peter Obi when I was governor and those executive exchanges have a way of communicating to our people that political divide is not war,” Oshiomhole stated. “I also invited governors from other states to Edo the last one week before my tenure as you said, for them to see what I was able to do. “I promise that when I get back to Abuja, I go take my mouth talk am wetin my mouth see (sic). The flyover I saw is not a culvert. There are people who commissioned culverts and said they were flyovers but what I am seeing here is a beautiful flyover which you will see anywhere in the world,” he added. https://www.channelstv.com/2022/11/16/how-i-invited-peter-obi-to-commission-projects-as-edo-gov-oshiomhole/

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M4uU3fCHjCw I admired PDP more for one thing, they are too busy planning how to make the country better. Let those who carry bitterness in their heart also continue. They will even regret more after 2023, after office. |

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0LabmmLaMyM The House of Representatives Committee on Public Procurement has decried the poor allocation to the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPE) for monitoring and surveillance of projects in the 2022 budget. The committee members, during the budget defence session on Tuesday, expressed dissatisfaction with the allocation of N28.5 million to the Bureau to monitor all federal government projects, describing it as insufficient. The Chairman of the Committee, Ali Nasiru (APC, Kano), while asking the Director General of BPP, Mamman Ahmadu, about the performance of the 2022 budget, flagged the allocation to surveillance and monitoring aspect of the bureau’s budget. “The surveillance of all Federal Government’s projects has an allocation of N28.5 million. Is that the amount that you are supposed to use for surveillance of all government projects for the year 2022? Are you talking about the 36 states of Nigeria? “I am sure all these projects run into thousands of projects. Are you saying N28.5 million is the only funding that you have for monitoring of all projects?” he said. Responding to the questions, Mr Ahmadu said the allocation is not sufficient though the bureau is working within its enveloped budget. https://www.premiumtimesng.com/business/business-news/565701-budget-reps-panel-decries-allocation-of-n28-million-to-bpe-for-project-monitoring.html
