You can try and walk in with 42k before your appointment date. You may spend the entire day at TLS and no guarantees they'll let you go in.
Also do note that you need to have a valid appointment before you can walk in.

Hello everyone, I'd really appreciate some help/advice. I've been given admission for a Master's programme in the UK that begins on the 19th of September and the deadline for me to be present is the 14th of October. Due to some delays, I am only now trying to book for the Biometrics at TLS Contact, VI. The appointment dates there, at this moment, show the 26th of August as earliest date available, and I'm worried I will miss my window to resume if I have the biometrics on that date.

My questions are:
1.} Are my fears unfounded? Will I be able to make it within the time frame?
2.} Is it possible for me to book for a date but go to have the biometrics at an earlier date? Would that work?
3.} If I wait a bit before booking, would earlier time/date slots open up, or am I wasting precious time already?

I sincerely appreciate any responses.

To be on the safe side, you can go with originals and copies of the docs you uploaded. They may not be requested for though.

I was asked for:
- first page of completed visa application doc
- document checklist
- passport data page photocopy
- printed copy of email confirmation of appointment from TLS

Please note that experiences differ so you may be asked to provide others. Hence my advice to go with all docs uploaded.

It's quite a tight turnaround time since resumption date is close. You can try your luck and hope your collection mail drops within the 3 week timeline. Also confirm what date is the cutoff for resumption so you have all facts before making a decision.

On the study gap, it's advisable to provide all docs that'll aid the ECO in processing your application without an NSF.
Most applicants with study gap of 5 years plus are asked to provide evidence of what they were doing in that period.

Another question is do I need to upload my employment letter when applying although my school only said we should upload only what is stated in the CAS and it's only my academic documents. Meanwhile I have a 10 year gap after youth service but I have been working. I await your kind response.

No it isn't.

Only alternative is to pay for self service when you go for biometrics and ask them to upload whatever additional docs you have.

It depends

I prefer to merge a document that refers to the same thing but are in different pages.

For instance if I have an employment letter from one company in 2pages,I will merge them as one but different references and employment letters I will leave them individually.

Whether you choose to leave them or merge them won't affect the decision, it is just to make it easier for the ECO to navigate through

Please do not use a black pen to correct a UKVI document, upload the document with the error as it is.

2. It depends on the document you want to merge and if it is easier for the ECO to see them.

3. Bank statement I will merge if it is more than one page, reference letter I will keep seperate.

I declared a South African visit visa refusal from 2019 but forgot to upload the notice of decision doc when self uploading on TLS. Reason for refusal was the SA Embassy been unable to reach the training centre that issued invitation letter to me.
I reapplied for the same SA visit visa to the training centre in early-2020 and it was granted.

Does this affect my application please, or do I have to submit the notice of decision when I go for biometrics?

If you have money pay 42,000 Naira for walk-in at Ikeja TLS and do your Biometrics tomorrow. It will save you time and your visa may even come out before 26th July.

I printed my POF on 24th June and submitted my application same day via self service on TLS. I was able to schedule biometrics for 26th July.

Will I have to print another statement when going for bio, since the 31-day validity period will have lapsed by then?

I've been trying to book a date for biometrics on TLS website but no luck yet.

Anyone else having the same issue?

Irrespective of whether you have IHS/Visa fee in your account or not, as long as your required tuition and balance do not fall below what you need, you are good. Your funds can always be more but never less - any excess above what you need does not need to meet the 28-day rule.

My people, please I have a bit of an issue I need clarity on.

I'm running USD & NGN POF and had the needed amount for my application in my account for about 2 weeks now.
Because of the CBN limits on fx transactions from NGN accounts, I lodged in my IHS and visa application fee into my USD account.

I'm doing a cover letter to support my application.

Now my issue is how much do I state as available amount on my cover letter since the IHS and visa fee won't have matured by the time I'm applying for visa.

I used two bank accounts, I read someone's testimony here of three bank accounts so you can go ahead as long as it's genuine and complete. If only one were needed, there won't be option for additional bank account during your application.

I'm in the same boat with the OP - considering submitting two accounts for POF.

However I came across the attached image saying UKVI only considered one of the accounts.

Not sure what to believe at this point.

If both accounts are in your name, good, otherwise, realign yourself - it's either you are being sponsored or self sponsoring.

Being sponsored has its technicalities though if that's your choice eventually
