I have two offers which I am divided on which to choose

I am through with my MSc in Data Science here and already on tier 2 courtesy of my wife who got a sponsored support work

The first offer is a prison officer with a starting salary of 28k.

The second offer is a Department of Education Financed training to be a physic teacher with a bursary of 28k for 10 month, I will be paid 19k while 9k will go to the Secondary school providing the training which is affiliated to a university. At the end I will be given QTS ( qualifications to teach) and a PGCE. Now at the end of the training, I am required to look for a teaching job.

Please I need a guidance on which to go, given the peculiarity of this country.

September is start date for both.

Note I can't do both given the way the training is structured

You upload and submit under 'evidence upload'. .. A brief explanation on the letter about the error is enough .. plus national identity (whether yes or no) is irrelevant to your application as long as you have your PP

I've done the declaration part so all that's left is IHS + app fee payment and evidence upload.

You sha entered passport details under 'Do you have a valid passport'? Submit a cover letter when uploading explaining the error and should be fine.

I'm reviewing my psw application and discovered that I entered passport details (including issue and expiry dates) where national identity card was required.

I've also done the declaration part so can't edit any longer. All that's left is to make payment for IHS and application.

What are my options, please? Is this error fatal, and do I have to start another application from scratch?

No transit visa is required for layoff in Istanbul as long as you don't plan on leaving the airport.

I don't know about the free hotel but you may be best served asking TA.

I'm not sure you can *change* already uploaded docs, but you can pay for self service on biometrics day, and upload additional docs. You can also do a cover letter to clarify the error, and have that uploaded as well.

YOu can state the error you made so gurus in the house can advise you further.

Yes you can start filling the application. However, payment of ihs and visa fees + application submission should only be done once pof matures.

CAS states the period covered by your program, and can only be used for that period.
Your Sept CAS will say course start date is 19/09/22 and end date is 18/09/23

Deferral to Jan will require the school to issue a new CAS which will also state period covered.

I'll advise that you first check with your school to see if Jan intake is available so you have all info to strategise properly.

Hello. No you can't.

You have to get the school to defer admission till January, subject to there being availability for your program.

They'll also have to issue a new CAS.

It applies after printing your statement. So a Feb 1 - 28 statement is valid for use until March 31.

Asking JJC questions on Nairaland - last year to date
Uni application - 26th January
Unconditional offer - 21th February
TB test - 18th March
Deposit payment to school (application for Form A till disbursement) - 22nd February to 8th March
CAS issuance - 18th May
Visa application - 24th June
Biometrics - 26th July (tried walk in on the 6th without luck)
Paid call - 19th August
Application approval date on decision letter - 13th August
Collection mail - 22nd August
Passport collected - 23rd August

You can confirm what deadline is for resumption as this lets you know how much time you actually have, and will ultimately guide your decision.

After that, I'll advise you try and walk in before the biometrics day you've booked. Fingers crossed the application gets processed within the standard 3-week timeline.

Safest option is to print an updated statement and pay 11,700 on biometrics day for them to upload for you.

If it'll put your mind at ease, you can ask the person who scans your docs at TLS to confirm your uploads are still there.

No it doesn't invalidate the docs you uploaded initially.

Whatever you ask them to scan will be uploaded in addition to what you already have there.
