Experts please come to my aid! I bought a Honda Civic 1997 model (UK) and have been using it for almost 3 years now but I noticed that it doesn't accelerate like any other car. My mechanic looked into the engine side and screamed that the car was converted from manual to automatic!

Please what adjustment electrically must be done to accommodate the automatic gearbox and give it a normal kick down (acceleration) ?
