@ ibe, tks for d post. At tyms its like u r d only one in this,cos all you hear is do safety course, u do, learn AUTOCAD 2&3d,also u do, now its PDMS n HYSYS which I have also mastered and still yet nothing comes out of them.I am just hoping for dis year as my breaktru year. For those of us in the engineering line especially that read Petroleum Engineering,experience is thrown at you at every advertisement you see. Now,age is now also a factor as most oil coys na set an age limit dat even makes it worse. So my question to d house n dose of us who have gone through similar to throw some light on their experiences and how they made it through. p.s even guys with masters n professional certifications I know of e.g pens,hysis etc still get brushed aside cos u don't have 4-7 yrs experience. I just don't understand...

I don't even know what to say. Let's say for sec Nigeria was not dis completely messed up place it is, u expect some one who sweated n swotted for years in skl doing technical n mindbreaking courses like engineering to suddenly switch easily cos of d economic insanity to " so called self employed" . Nobody seems to refer to how difficult it is getting start- up capital not to talk of incredibly dubious d average Nigeria is,u will b cheated n duped d first tym u do something u r not very used to. As for hoping n praying, I am not against dat but people should stop PRETENDING N HIDING dat 90% of N120 k/ month jobs r strictly by man knw man. case in point d recently concluded inec recruitment. I am sick to death of the endless battles an arguments raised by these two groups to d detriment of practically every thread.Nobody seems to want to speak truthfully or analyze logically as sentiments,tribalism n oda b.s cover everything.
First,most ppl weda laptop,haters, or neutral voted GEJ esp in d south even though d PDP was universally detested.
