I tot I was the only one who noticed that!
The same way they were shouting from the beginning that he is weak, that he should tackle the cabal and turai and take what belongs to him by force. Yet the guy just stay for corner de laff them having known exactly how the whole script will play out and we all saw what happened.
Then came Atiku and IBB and he silently silenced the duo (FOR GOOD IF YOU ASK ME).
Subsidy came and he did it his own way again.

THAT GUY (GEJ) MIGHT BE MANY THINGS BUT DEFINITELY NOT DAFT. WE SHALL ALL SEE!

^^^Good grief!!! shocked You do paint a graphic picture of a young dayokanu still in diapers.

I can just picture him in the crèche with his superman costume, pacifier in mouth, and seeking out any 'Igbo' to pick a fight with. Then all hell breaks loose as lets off a loud fart, stops in his tracks, and looks at the nearest adult with an embarrassed look and says, "Auntie Kemi, i don shit for pant again!!!". shocked

Hehehe grin. Classic!

Jakumo: Reports from Lagos, Nigeria today May 30th, 2012, are that ululating swarms of drunken "students" stole several large city buses, and parked them blocking ALL lanes in BOTH directions along the ancient, cracked Third Mainland Bridge, causing several hours of gridlock on that strategic thoroughfare, and trapping miles of motorists in a tropical rain storm, with nowhere to run from the gathering packs of hoodlums but over the rail into the lagoon 200 feet below.

It took the arrival of armed policemen and soldiers to gently persuade the "students" to depart the bridge and release their thousands of hostage motorists. No doubt, terrorist plotters will duly take note of the relative ease with the strategic Third Mainland Bridge fell under a temporary government of testosterone-addled gibbons riding aboard a convoy of commandeered city buses, so it would behoove Nigerian law enforcement authorities to step up the monitoring regime and security patrols on that most vulnerable artery of commerce.

It is so ironic to note hear that the naming of a Lagos university after late Chief M.K.O Abiola, a man who put so many thousands of Nigerians, Africans and African Americans through schools and universities, could elicit such foolhardy and pointless antics from hordes of individuals claiming to be "students". One would imagine that the more academically inclined students would be too occupied with homework to ever consider joining up with lower primates on silly rampages that endanger the public.

i belong to the Abiola's family because the spontaneous manner of opposition shows very bold and clear that all those struggle (1992) was for democracy only and not both democracy and love for Abiola. "MKO is our man ooo" am sure some postors will not understand.

When are we going to get it right in this country?

I think you are having a misplaced knowledge here, Do you think we are talking abt products; like commodities? that's a faulty analogy. we are talking about a school that has built its legacy for over 50yrs and you wake up one morning and just change that! that's wot everybody is talking about and you are busy attaching it to the personality of MKO while believing in wot u choose to evn though its a wrong belief. dts being rigid & dts bad.

frankosabi: It's so foolish with d kind of impression a lot of people often voice out about MKO.it's also a justification that we overate people in dis this part of the world.MKO was never a hero, his is never been and will never be.may be a lot of us may have forgotten what a true hero is made of.This was a man who accumulated his wealth through fraud, just because he contested an election just like every other Nigerian. The NEC never declared him as the winner even though he may have won majority of the states. But in as much as the fact that the body whose is saddle with the responsibility to declare him d winner never did, then his fates is the same as Olu falae,Buhari and co.if MKO is hero just because he contested an election just like every other candidate, just because of how much he lost and his hope to go there and steal more was shattered by the same IBB whom use that opportunity to pay him back for the liberia's money which he stole from him.MKO as a man ought to have gone to court just like Buhari and co but he went ahead to declare himself the President..so my question is what made MKO a hero?

Seconded, I was even thinking of it today if futo or imsu be renamed to Ojukwu University we would embrace it with full joy. I have always said 99% are saboteurs. Tufiakwa. When abiola was killed they blabed and went and sat down out of cowardice.

Terrible is a subtle term to use for it, it's just plain stupidity. Rather than fixing the problem, they're busy trying creating more for us with the little cash they have at hand. Watch, the money being used for this piece of crap called idea is probably financed through debts- one way or another. People need to cut their coats according to their sizes, that's just my own two cents. grin grin grin

The poster did not mention the word "Yoruba"in his post. Reread.
The poster made the inference after realising that majority of the critics were resident in a particular section of the country.
The poster used a reference made by a popular Lagos based civil rights lawyer to draw his conclusions. Reference below.

I want to state it here that MKO was a philiantropist in his life-time and we appreciate it. Infact the greatest. We all must learn from history and pass it down to the next generation. MKO had somany shady deals. He and IBB were good friends but they had a rift (which ofcourse would be about power sharing) and IBB through Abacha messed him up. The SW are not naive and dumb. MKO worked really hard during his campaign and he won the election.
