Nothing much. The documents needed are:
1. One copy of your application form
2. One copy of your acknowledgement slip.
3. 4 copies of your payment slip
4. One copy of your intl passport data page.
5. Wear a face mask.

When you get there, just tell them you're going to SERVICOM. The officers there are just too sweet. You'll write an application letter there and thereafter, they'll file your documents and lead you to another office. You'll be given a number tag there and asked to go to another building to go wait for data capture. You might spend a little time there. I spent about 1 hour waiting. When your file gets to them, they'll call your name and you'll go for your data capture. When you're done, you'll be given a slip to use for collection.

Currently at passport office in Festac. I haven't spent up to 20 mins and I'm already waiting for capture.

It's DIY.

After applying online, when printing out the form, payment slip and acknowledgement slip, is it compulsory I print coloured? Do they accept black and white?

Band them together with rubber band. You don’t need a letter. Don’t make your life complicated. The border officer won’t even care unless it’s Heathrow.

I thought you had even applied for your visa. If you haven’t applied for your visa, renew your passport, then submit the visa application based on the new passport. Then you won’t even need to put rubber band to hold the two passports at the exit and entry, cos you’ll need to show just your most recent.

Okay. But wouldn't that raise any red flag if they see a different passport number on my tb test certificate? Or should I attach a letter explaining why there are different passport numbers on my tb test certificate and passport?

You’re meant to present both everytime you’re asked for your passport, until you get your brp. As soon as you get your brp, send a copy of your new passport to your employer and start using your new passport.

Most people are never told the reason for US visit visa and put under a general blanket rejection bucket. How sure are you that you were told the exact reason.

Most people fall under section 214(b), it means that the applicant : Did not sufficiently demonstrate to the consular officer that he or she qualify for the nonimmigrant visa category.
