Infact this is Good news.
We want to see the likes of: Ambrose, Echiejile, Moses & Ike Uche back in that team.

Nigeria will never learn. We are fund of not selecting our best players for matches & competitions. We are always trying to rebuild with rukkies. Next game we'll throw away this crop and invite a new set of rukkies.

We were building a team and went to the World Cup. Yes we had a set back and didnt qualify for AFCON bt dat team was quite young and promising.

The coaches went and recycled rejected players like Ujah,Ighalo and Ideye with some useless faceless home based players.

Now we are stuck with this bunch of eediots of players to face an in-form South Africa side.

Sorry sir, Simon Moses was not in this set's U-17 like you wrote. Infact, he was at the last U-20 World Cup in Turkey, together with Pyaghara.
Ok thanks.

Sports › Where Will Manu Garba Fix Players Like Iheanacho, Success, Yahaya, Ndidi, Etc. by Icon4s(op):
So where will Garba Manu fix-in players like:

Wilfred Ndidi
Kelechi Iheanacho
Musa Yahaya
Chidiebere Nwakali
Isaac Success (Likely to replace Awoniyi)

I love the competitiveness in this team.

Wilfred Ndidi was fantastic at the last U17 and also fantastic during the qualifiers for the AYC. He was not listed for the AYC due to club engagement. I believe he can still break into the team upon return

Iheanacho Benefitted from Bernard Bulbwa's failing of MRI just before the U17 WC. Bernard Bulbwa is back in the team and again kept Iheanacho out of the starting line up for the qualifiers for AYC. Iheanacho might make the squad but might nt make the usual starting line up.

Musa Yahaya was dropped from the AYC due to injury sustained days to the kick-off. He is likely to return to the team, however the coach needs to chose between him and the highly talented Ifeanyi Mathew for the starting 11. (Me think he is more creative, more skilful and more adventurous than Ifeanyi Mathew)

Chidiebere Nwakali was great at the U17. But since after joining ManCity it has been one injury or the other. Coming back to the Flying Eagles he would have to fight for a place with players like Obinna Nwobodo and Ibrahim Alhasan who were virtually flawless.

Taiwo Awoniyi has so much benefitted from the long absence of Isaac Succes from the Team. We know Isaac Success as the arrow head in the attack of that Team. Since after Awoniyi replaced the injured Success in that U17 Group game against Sweden, it has been Awoniyi all the way. Granada FC has not helped matters as they have held on to Success and not releasing him for any of the Flying Eagles games. Taiwo is good no doubt but Isaac Success is better. If he would be available for the WYC and he is in good enough form I see him replacing Awoniyi as the Center Forward.

Simon Moses; Most people don't even know he was part of this team at the U17 level. It does happen in football that fringe players make more progress over the years than the previous regulars. He is the only member of the last U17 team that is playing full professional football presently. He also is the first of that class to be invited to the Super Eagles who are currently in camp preparing for the friendlies against Uganda and South Africa. He is currently nicknamed "the Nigerian Ronaldo". An exceptionally talented winger that plays and scores like Ronaldo. No doubt, he will add so much pace and power upfront if included in the Flying Eagles squad to the WYC. But can he break into the starting 11? And if he is including in the starting 11 who drops to the bench?

Don't really care about third place. Nigeria will lift the trophy but it will not be as painful as if they had lifted it in front of us.
U know this ur U20 team well? tell me how many of the last U17s are part of this set up cos the team has really improved. A team we beat 6-1 jst 2yrs ago, though 5/6 of our key players are absent.

grin U prefer Banku bt i prefer eba.
No hard feelings my brother. Football is just a game. I know it pains when u lose to Nigeria bt just take it easy on urself.
I for one respect Ghana so much especially at youths level.Infact Nigeria and Ghana stand tall above the other African teams at this level.
My prayer is for both Nigeria and Ghana to do well at the WYC so we can meet again at semis or final and rekindle the usual rivalry. cool

One love bro.

but be rest assured...this dry joke would not last too long.
Nigeria won the African Cup of Unity in 1980. Bt have also won it 2ce under the new name of AFCON or CAN.

Ghana belongs to the category of Ethiopia, Congo and Sudan who won that same African Cup of unity bt havent won it under d new name. grin
