My man this is simple politics.pdp wants power back and the only way to do it is to field an a credible northerner who ll divide northern votes and kick out Buhari. With igbo as vice president .Apc will lose because ss n se will vote pdp en masse then with divided votes in the north n some from west Pdp ll win . Also peopple should know Pdp is more widely spread unlike Apc that appears north n sw party .And again pdp did not destroy nigeria . Nigeria was destroyed during successive military rule . Note during pdp rule , it embraced all ethnic groups unlike what we see now with Apc

Politically u re wrong . Saraki is perceived as anti APC . The sw thru Tinubu believed that if Saraki continues as senate president , APC power will be undermined hence this move to remove him . It has nothing to do with ethnicity . They believe Saraki will eventually move over to PDP. Saraki soul is with PDP . I noticed that people who comment in this forum are kids and politically immature .

It's a shame for the current government in Lagos state, to be attacking the goodwill of the Fashola Administration instead of concentrating on how to deliver urgent and important services to Lagosians.

Jonathan after carefully deliberated on this issue , decided that fuel subsidy must go but people from the west saw it as an opportunity to bring his govt down due to his root ( SS). Don't be myopic . Nigeria has been destroyed long time ago . Some of are waking into political consciousness of Nigeria . Some people have been ruling this country and others keep mute and maintain peace even while corruption, embezzlement , destruction of life and property esp in the north . Now power has changed hand thru divine intervention then some people don't like it hence the attack on GEJ . Gej had tried to embrace other marginalised ethnic groups like the ss , s east and Nc .Other regions that have enjoined and monopolised the juicy positions started crying fowl . even up till now GEJ govt still favours the North just appease the North but yet they still want their own man as the president . Born to rule mentality and religion undertone .

This is a fact people have to accept . Even if you put a goat as APC presidential aspirant ,people will still vote in the goat as long as it is not GEJ

Aren't you tired of this whole certificate saga? Is it not as simple as obtaining due acknowledgements and clarifications from WAEC that the then young Buhari took WASSCE exams in 'so so' year and save the world dis whole stress?...in other words, if u lost your WASSCE cert and you later have a grave need for it (in order to become the President of Nigeria)..... I believe that one should go to all lengths even if it means requesting for the exam sheets.......just my thought.

This is a comment based on total lack of knowledge of Nigeria. Back then it's the south, especially the Igbo and Yoruba that dominated the Nigeria military. By 1967 the highest northern ranked northern person in the army was a Colonel. And a middle Beltan northerners to be precise. So do they have a grip? Learn and know your history.

Most commenting here are just kids . yes high ranking officer were from the east with proper qualification but Abubakar and sauduna of sokoto urged northerners to join the army irrespective of their qualification because they believed with military the North can control Nigeria that was when the likes of Buhari joined the military with little or no qualification in the north .Majority of low ranking soldiers were from the north then after the war most of then rose rapidly to the top most ranks.

Again people who are arguing that for the fact that buhari attended school overseas shows that he had Waec or its equivalent are immature in the brain . Buhari was sent by the military institution for training hence he was covered and prevented from serious scrutiny of his academic qualification . And again , i live and studied in the western country . They don't ask for your weac to do higher studies like masters -and sometimes they look at your experience too in your field and overseas universities just want your money . Again bubari studied or trained in war college for 9 months and u cant obtaine ur Masters in 9 months . I think he just did 9 months training . Don't forget that he was a high ranking officer prior to the training

It is clear that Buhari did not have Waec and he was smuggled into the army in the usual way the north does their thing . we re in 2015 not 1960 . Promotion of mediocracy by the north has got to stop . Every body should be treated equally and be given equal opportunies in this country . This practice put Nigeria in this mess . Buhari should come out and tell us the truth then resign from the contest and another well educated person should take over in APC

Nigeria has never been united only that some part of this countryhas been playing mumu allowing the born to rule to control this countries . but it appears that the control is stripping through their fingers hence they started making trouble using boko haram and applying religious and tribal sentiments.

Let truth be told . Power entered where it was not suppose by the definition of the catel that have been ruling this country and this catel happen to originate from the north and s west therefore they re not happy about the power shifting to the minority in old eastern state state ( Biafra) where they sworn secretly never to give power to following the aftermath of civil war . By Gods doing power went to that side hence the propaganda and the fight to chase him out of power because of his origin ( SS) and being the incumbent President he has been struggling to hang on and it appears he is has polarised Nigeria . These people have been ruling this country for over 40 yrs and other regions ( minorities) supported them and Nigeria appeared peaceful and unified but now they don't want to support minority from the old eatern region to rule Nigeria . They started making noise and creating trouble .They are the one that polarised Nigeria and not GEJ . For these countries to move forward all ethnic nations in Nigeria should be treated equally . With this fight against GEJ , how do u expect the south south or south east to support candidate from the core north or west . Power should be allowed to allowed to go around given the nature of this country and not particular regions monopolising power and become antagonistic when power shifts
