I think different people have different experiences but it shouldn’t be a big deal if you don’t have it since you passed the medicals already. They’re likely to request for the yellow card at Lagos airport than over there in Canada.

My wife resides in Abuja but presently she’s in Lagos now her passport and that of our son passport. Please can she do the submission in Lagos office. Thought she did biometric in Abuja 2019 then .

I was so scared after the announcement that I had to quickly do an email to RROC on March 19th ,cos my kids medicals were passed March 9th and spouse medicals passed March 19th

If you are having 2 stops in europe, you will be needing a transit visa. Check turkish or Egypt

If you submit in person, you should receive your pp in less than a week. Flight fares for april are a bit on the high side, but then, you know your budget.

You don't have to use your work as home tie. How about her family? Declaration of assets in her name? Ongoing building projects? etc

Thanks for your response. So to be able to use her work as home ties, how do we present it? I get that we shouldn't mention the remote part. But are we to mention she will return to the employer later? How do you use your job as home ties for SOWP?

If it's study permit I know saying the person studying will return to the employer and probably get a promotion after studies can make the person's job serve as hometies.

But in the case of SOWP. How do we present this?

Hi,

I paid in USD. There is somewhere on the website that asks for your currency preference i.e. you can pay in any currency (I don't know if Naira is there).
At the point you want to pay, there is an option to pay in other currencies.

Date of application: 31/12/2023
Eligibility review, medicals etc were update same day as PPR
PPR: 29/02/2024

First application was refused on 01/12/2023 ( reason: not enough proof that my spouse is in a DLI) then for my 2 kids they stated that they won't return.

I just thank God that it's finally approved cos the wait can be very depressing. I wish everyone the very best and I pray that God will perfect what he started, Amen.

No, the ban hasn’t commenced yet, so you should apply but ensure your pof is up to 21k CAD equivalent using Xe dot com. Then your spouse enrollment letter, evidence of school fee payment and most recent transcript is attached, alongside other documents you will be submitting. I wish you all the best.

Good morning everyone my SOWP was denied. I want to do a fresh application but I'm not sure if the ban on spouse of college students has commenced. The reason for the denial is " not enough information to demonstrate that spouse is in aa DLI" gurus please help me out.
