PoliticsRe: What Is The Nigerian Dream? by Idekeson(m): 1:33am On Jul 20, 2006
The predominant Naija dream is to amass excess wealth by any means necessary to be able to buy security, happiness and then kick ass if need be.
RomanceRe: Girl Giving A Guy Gifts And Money: Bad? by Idekeson(m): 1:17am On Jul 20, 2006
It's bad that it happens less frequently. Is it because a lot women can't afford the simplest of gifts? Or should I say they lack the spirit of giving?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Mikel Obi Kicks Off Chelsea Career by Idekeson(m): 4:32am On Jul 19, 2006

having a magic in our National team is Key. Our success in football has been built around
Okocha, now he is retired who do you think is going to take over
I really enjoyed Okocha and the excitement he brought to Nigerian football, but his leadership of the Super Eagles was far from successful. Our greatest success in football was the Keshi to Oliseh era, which Jay-Jay was a part of but by no means the best.
A Question to REAL MEN; How would u feel if u hear that your girl needs cash and she has gone to every other person but you?
Advise her to get a real job, and find a decent girl that is not into pan-handling.
RomanceRe: Should Our Boyfriends Assist Us Financially Without Us Having To Ask? by Idekeson(m): 10:09pm On Jul 17, 2006
You can assist a girlfriend in her times of need, but please don't make it a habit. Women liberation is all about been independent, financial and otherwise. When you commit to each other and I mean real commitment, marriage or kids, then you can support each other. Quid pro quo. No support in exchange for sex or even the hope of future commitment.

Double-post huh huh
FoodRe: Do You Eat In Public? by Idekeson(m): 1:46pm On Jul 17, 2006
I can grab a quick lunch sitting in a park. I avoid eating anything walking through a crowded street or inside a train (I hate people that do that sitting next to me). Eating along the street or in crowded places should be avoided except when absolutely necessary, but then you should stand in a corner.
RomanceRe: Guys like girls with skimpy dresses and tight trousers, but they won't marry them by Idekeson(m): 5:12pm On Jul 14, 2006
Scantly dressed females are best suited to satisfy a man's carnal pleasures. On the average, they're not always the smartest to build your future. Looks don't get you far in life.

@Aloib
Why the cat-fight?
I'll take a guess.
You want to do Rhodalyn.
If you can get her off her annoying kenmania.

Jehovah witness is pushing me to the brink with their bell-buzzing. God give me the restraint from doing something terrible one of these days.
Nairaland GeneralRe: How Does It Feel Being An African In Your Area? by Idekeson(m): 3:48am On Jul 14, 2006
It's so good to live in the greatest city in the world. There so many Naija people around that there is an indigenous association for every Naija state. There is a Naija event, not to talk of an African event, happening somewhere every weekend. I have a choice of egusi or okro soup with goat meat for dinner, at one of the many African restaurants around. Or I might just decide to have some goat-head and a bottle of gulder (yes, gulder from Naija).
It feels so good living the life of a Naijaman in this confluence of the universe.
Graphics/Video MarketRe: Artwork Wanted: Oil Painting On Canvas by Idekeson(m): 2:31am On Jul 13, 2006
I admire works of art but still can't understand human judgment in spending millions of dollars on Davinci, Van Gogh, Monet, Picasso etc, while millions of humans are starving.

Whatever happened to a time in Naija when grown men could walk around and hold hands in public/sleep on the same bed and waking up with their bodies intertwined, in an innocent and "non-gay" manner?
Chei!!
Only time male bodies get intertwined is in a serious fight.

I hate screaming colors like pink, yellow etc. BTW it's still gay.
TravelRe: What's Up With Ghana And Nigeria? by Idekeson(m): 2:40pm On Jul 12, 2006
I once stumbled across a Ghanaian forum and their major beef was that they invented "Jellof" rice and not Nigeria. True rivalry indeed. huh huh
Nairaland GeneralRe: How Many Non-Africans Are On Nairaland? by Idekeson(m): 11:38pm On Jul 11, 2006
If you're not 100% Caucasian, you belong to the trace culture in your blood. I'm sorry to rain on the parade of anyone that thinks otherwise. That is the existing law on recism, until maybe the next century.

Who knows some of u might have a fake passport and u might end up getting married to the wrong person.
The end justifies the means. You got to do what you got to do. Most immigrants are lucky to get visitors visa to travel out of their home country. Any other means of breaking the chain of poverty and dependency back home without success in crime is an illussion.

i don't know why are all are going to jus sit here and act like its all gravy between nigeria and ghana. its all jus friendly rivalry, no beef, yes i said it, rivals,,
Rivalry is an overstretch. Rivalry between Enugu or Edo state and a combination of the little sister nations will be an even match.
TravelRe: What's Up With Ghana And Nigeria? by Idekeson(m): 4:59pm On Jul 10, 2006
@Genelle
I couldn't resist but lay credence to this uninformed research of yours.  A little bit of basic sampling of all the "little" African countries, including Ghana will expose you to the level of misplaced hatred and envy they harbor towards Nigeria.  Their reason, I don't know and could care less.  I guess it is natural for little David to hate on Goliath.
TravelRe: Getting Married For The Green Card (Citizenship) by Idekeson(m): 4:55am On Jul 07, 2006
Adjustment of status through marriage to a US citizen is by far the most realistic option open to someone with a visitor's visa.
Students face a much tougher process adjusting to permanent residence or even to a work visa, since after 9/11. Students must return to their home country at the completion of their study and wait 2 years before they can be eligible to adjust their status.
HealthRe: Smoking: What Do You Think? by Idekeson(m): 12:10am On Jul 07, 2006
Smoking is one of the most stupid habits.  It gives you bad breath and your clothes stink (regardless of mint and perfume).  Waste of money, no buzz like trees and above all gives you cancer.  But still, I can't kick the habit after all the yearly resolutions and promises that this very pack is the last.  Maybe pouring my heart out on Nairaland will do the magic.  Hopefully, but I still have my reservations.
Dating And Meet-up ZoneRe: Kegites by Idekeson(m): 4:25am On Jul 06, 2006
I became a kegite when I was a Lion solely to attend gyrations around the country. I must confess that few campus activities equalled the fun at the kegite gyrations that I attended.
FashionRe: Football Jerseys: Still In Fashion? by Idekeson(m): 4:49pm On Jul 04, 2006
Sports Jerseys never in or out of fashion.  It's your identity with your team or your favorite star in the game.  It's always cool if worn at the appropriate time.
