Enough Chelsea FC. vs Barcelona FC....lol. Let's discuss Naija soccer!

I watch European football but I never invest so much energy in it. Especially, when there in no African playing for the team. I support any team that parades an African , shikena

Via @ASMonacoEnglish on twitter........There was a match between Main Team and Reserves for our team.Main Team had beaten 6-0 against reserves.Main team played with 4-3-3 with Gelson Yedder Onyekuru.Onyekuru had made an huge impression for the team

(@AlexisMrl9 Insiders)
Onyekuru has always been a baller , but just like James Obiora who was near world class and could not play consistently for Super Eagles due to presence of Okocha and Oruma, Onyekuru career had been hampered by the inability of Rohr to use him.

If Onyekuru never get to play for Eagles then Rohr should be held accountable.

Yep. He's with Fehérvár of Hungary now. Played games for them in the past 19/20 season and got a few goals+assists.

Recall he was left footed at U-17 level but he has evolved into a two footed lad now.
I remember the guy very well with his sweet left foot.

I conformed all from sofascore, but Iwobi.

Sofa didn't have shots or shots on target stat. But shot per game. His shot per game was 0.7, that meant there's no way he could garner 21 shots on target from 25 games.

I went to official premier league website, and I confirmed it.

This is Iwobi's stat.

Naijafootballers goofed this one, big time.

He barely made 21 total shots, let alone on target
And I was right.

Just here making baseless claims that can't be substantiated. Truth is that every ethnic group in Nigeria has their own unique but there are some areas that appears to may have had some admixture of different tribes. For Instance, you would mistake a lot of Akwa-Cross girls for Igbo. Especially , the Abians. Honestly, I thought Nancy Isime was Igbo and this is from a person who had lived in Bini for 5yrs and interacted with Adelaide , Akoko , Esan , Bini and Uhrobo.

The name Isime even sounded Igbo , Chimelu, Isimelu. But this is not to say they are Igbo but there may have been some intermarriage like the one that happened at Okrika.

There is actually nothing like Ebere Eze's switch ongoing b'cos the lad hasn't even picked up the switch form. Rejected the chance to play for Nigeria against Brazil last year only to feature for England U-21 and get cap-tied.

Onomah is likely to begin his switch before Eze and thus may walk into the team before Eze even has a chance.
With Ejaria already close to being bagged, Onomah likely to follow and Iwobi still available, we are stacked in the #10 role. I don't think Eze may get a chance with us again unless he backtracks soon enough.

And I will say it again. We can bag Michael Olise now. Lad is as free as a bird and at 18, I already consider him a very fine prospect with huge potentials. I understand Rohr is on him shaa. Time will tell.
That's why I don't lose sleep over foreign born because I don't need the heartache. Abraham was a good example to you guys. He even mocked Nigeria on the internet. You guys were going in on the guy and taking shots. It was hilarious grin

Eventually, Osimhen's performance sort of dwarfed him and KOMEKN chilled out.

Nwakali has proven over the past five years that he has nothing to present, talent is potential yet to be realised. So far nothing if substance has been brought forward we do not live in the past but HERE and NOW.

With regards to Azubuike he is in a obscure low quality league. In this regard he should be to be considered an outstanding player in the Turkish league.

Is he the most outstanding in his league and therefore club, and how long has he been there for.

We don't use youth football to leverage players quality. We use consistent continous to quality performances in your club and league in the HERE and NOW.

That is component that is preventing Ndidi from becoming a world class DM.
Oh , there has been something of substance in the matches he played for Nigeria while he was largely unfit and out of form. Against Athletico and U23 qualifier he showed "something of sunstance", didnt he. As for calling Turkish league obscure, many great players have played in this same Turkish league and Azubike was outstanding and would be playjng Champions League next season. Nwakali will be exposed to Laliga where he will get a second chance to shut wagging tongues.

This life is not hard. Take it cool. If you don't care about how people feels about your opinion on any player why do you care about others opinion on any player?
A person' s view on a player should not warrant attack from a sane and civil human. People have called Nwakali names here but I never acted out of character. Why ? Its their opinion. However , we can debate with facts and if we still disagree then its ok to agree to disagree. Whats so difficult in that ?

Lol you are just looking for what's Not lost. I asked you a question... That's all. I know you to hold brief for home groomed player... I was shocked you wrote off awoniyi outrightly without considering "the challenges" of playing time. The same challenges "those players you always defend" encountered. I am curious why not awoniyi?

You could have just said I don't rate awoniyi which you have eventually disclosed. No biggie about that.

Which one is tribal war you are bringing. Well, I this is not the first time such will be flying ain't surprise though.

We should always be support any Nigeria players that's the major reason we are here. To support super eagles why Tagging players different names...?
Awoniyi is not the only player I do not rate. After his last outing for Nigeria at the U23 qualifier it was a done deal for me, so is Orji Okonkwo. Yet Kingsley Michael is still in my good books. I dont have to hype every Nigerian player and its my right just as you reserve the same right.

As per Nwakali and Azubike , they are players that have immense talent that have proven what they can bring to the table. These two players play with so much confidence and conviction.....If you noticed , Ndidi and Iwobi are two players I dont care so much about because they lack confidence on the ball. Ndidi is very combative and strong but I need him to hold on to the ball and dictate play. This has been his weakness just like Kelechi's right leg. Iwobi piss on his pant every time he holds a ball more than 2 secs grin

lasgow Rangers fan Ross Bennett is of the opinion that Joe Aribo is a victim of his versatility because he has been tried in several positions by manager Steven Gerrard since transferring to the Scottish Premiership giants from Charlton Athletic.

Aribo's natural position is playing as a central midfielder but his offensive and defensive qualities have seen him deployed at left-back, right winger, right midfield, defensive midfielder and attacking midfielder.

In his debut season in Scotland, the Nigeria international could not be ignored for selection due to his ability to play in several positions, making 48 appearances in all competitions.

In the latest edition of Gersnet podcast, Bennett was quoted as saying by This Is Futbol : "Aribo, in a way, sometimes is kind of a victim of his own versatility because he’ll be asked to fill in here and there – wherever he’s needed.

"We’ve seen him playing left-back because we needed him to, we’ve seen him play more defensive midfield and breaking up play and intercepting passes when we need him to.

"So, he’s a bit of a victim in a way because he’s not always going to be given that top of the diamond, free rein kind of role which he clearly enjoys playing."

Aribo was included in the first ever Whoscored Scottish Premiership Team of the Week after his outstanding performance in Rangers' 1-0 win at Aberdeen on the opening day of the season.
