I need an advise from experience marketers here. Is it advisable to take a marketing job with a firm and salary is base on commission or meeting given target?

I got an sms from TUCHER CONSULTS to attend an interview tomorrow in Lagos. The funny thing is, am asked to come along with all my credentials and also a registration fee of #5000. The money covers my result and certificate verification bla bla. Who else got this?

What's the average take home pay if you serve in Akwa Ibom? I mean allowee plus extras

Is it easy to get accomodation as a corper?

What about food? I like food and I must add about 15kg before leaving

How about the girls? Are they fine and friendly?

I'm a Batch B not A, only batch A can tell you how much they have been able to save so far. All I know is the state is paying 9800 as state allawee per month
Accommodation depends on where you're posted ooo. hardly will you see any ppa that will give you an accommodation in places like Uyo,eket and ikot ekpene and accommodation is very expensive in those places most especially in Uyo. But if you have money you will get a good one.
I'm really enjoying their local food and am sure you will like it too. As for Ibom girls, I reserve my comment.lols

Yes, the camp is relatively new with regular maintenance, there is constant power (5am-10pm) and water supply, speakers are scattered everywhere for OBS and not for grooving. You will grove as you like at the mammy market because "our own mother" Lady Ngozi Chukwuka the state coordinator is a disciplinarian and she doesn't allows grooving on the pavilion, forget camp fire and endurance trek she may scrap it cos she cares for corp members like her own children, no soldier nonsense there and they blow the beagle at exactly 5am.
The hostels are not your rooms so be prepared for anything and try any means to avoid Jonathan hostel and humility hostel formerly known as ecomog hostel cos they are built like warehouses and they can accommodate over 400 PCM per hostel.if you struggle for early registration then you will surely make it into these two hostels but if you delay your registration like we did then you will find yourself in the more comfortable hostels like akpabio and the other ones. infact we met like you guys on Nairaland and we booked 2 God is Good buses at iyana ipaja straight to camp, kudos to Corper Seun. we delayed our registration in camp so we could share a room in akpabio hostel and it was fun.

All what this dude said is 100% true, I happened to share the same room and hostel with him in the camp. With what have heard from peeps who camped in other state, I can say Akwa Ibom camp is among the best five camp in Nigeria. If you have any question about the camp,posting and after camp you can ask me if and I will answer the ones I know about.
