Romance / Re: He Wants To Propose To Her Before Traveling Abroad, Please Advise. by IdomaLikita: 2:14am On Dec 18, 2019
Dude,
I had to rejoin after a long time to advise you properly. And here is why you should take me seriously.
1. I'm abroad
2. I'm married.
3. I was exactly in your shoes before I married.

Forget the thrash you see on movies about Love & marriage. Love will clear from your eye within 2months, but compatibility will see you through.

From what you've shared here, this girl is your match and If you lose her because of stupidity, you will end up being lonely, confused and regretful abroad. No one tells you about the Loneliness out here.

Who told you Wives are easy to come by abroad?most men flee from Naija girls here & end up coming home to pick someone to marry, which in that case means long distance arrangee & risky dive. I have no less than 3 Guys coming back home this month purely to find wives. I fear for their choices & put them in prayers everyday.

Back to the Girl, when is it ever wrong for a girl to marry a man with concrete ambitions put into action? Who wants to take that risk? Would you advise your sister to risk it? She clearly knows what she wants in a Man & that in its own is a sign of focus.

My case was worse, I watched my babe treat me unseriously when i was in Maiduguri, and her mum treated me with scorn. By the time my visa came out, I went back to that house & everything changed. I proposed, travelled out, returned in a few months and married her. I knew what I wanted and up-ed my game to get it. I wouldn't let stupid womanly behaviors to ruin my plans. She was the girl i wanted to marry(I no even love am then sef) & I ruthlessly secured my bag. Women are women!

Females of all species are wired to mate with the Alpha male. Love will come at some point when you Guys have surmounted Challenges together.
(na when they give you list & you start spending, you eye will clear from Love)

What even makes you so sure telling her your plans may influence her decision? You may be in for a rude shock.

Leave Naija movie package, call her, sit her down & tell her you are travelling abroad and she's the wifey you want to take there. If she says Yes. Quickly see her family and sort things halfway before you leave, they and your family are another major obstacles you might face.

Ambition is not a crime, & we must begin to respect women who bring out our best game, not those who take blind risks out of "Love" that may sink you both into poverty.

You are even lucky you found someone you love, and you wanna throw it away because you lack game. Use your advantage and secure your bag! Its all about using what you have to get what YOU WANT!

Shalom!

Thanks for having your sister's back, this the kind of the thing I hope to be able to do for people somedays
I live in Abuja and having used both Grabbo and fertilaid, I will say both of them are ok but I will rate fertilaid higher anyday though they are way more expensive.
so since you are looking at multiple trial, I will advice you use grabbo as they are quite affordable.
Also, grabbo just moved to a new facility and have lodging within the premises
You can pm me for any further assistance
God bless

Thank you.

Good afternoon people,
I am about to surprise my Elder sister who has PCOS that has resulted in 9years of subfertility and 2 ivf failures with 1million naira to restart her ivf trials again. She's in Taraba with the Husband, thus the closest place for her is abuja.
As much I as know the fluidity of outcomes of this procedure, I also recognize that informed decisions do alter the prognosis abit. In this regard, I would like to know the following.

1. Which ivf center is the most cost-effective in abuja( she and and husband are having financial setbacks so I shall be paying most of the way?)

2. Which one is most flexible in terms of appointments and followup considering their location which makes travelling for Cycle correction and ovarian hyperstimulation inevitable.?

3. I know your chances increase with more cycles.. Which ivf center is the cheapest ast for multiple back to back cycles if néed.

My questions are not exhaustive, this couple have done in Nisa premier and India without success before stumbling upon hard times which is making feeding difficult how much more ivf.. My prayer is that this gesture kickstarts some progress in their lives.

Comments are welcome.
Thank you my Queens

OP, God Bless you..I am a Doctor too, though a Deist. I admire your courage, for it takes courage to renounce the infidelity that religion bestows upon us..I do not oppose those who believe in miracles( after, the mechanisms of Placebo could pass for Miracles), neither do I blame those whom experience have shown that prayers are futile exercises.
Working in a Hospital, especially in a 3rd world country like Nigeria exposes one to so many contradictions of life. Religion has its role in the evolution of societies...However, the Nigerian religious system promotes stupidity, idiocy, delusional inclinations and crude naivety even among Educated citizens.

Shout Out to all Fighting Men out there.
Our Military has become the most formidable on the Continent despite the sabotage by our Frenemies (like the US and UK)...We are fighting on two fronts internally while maintaining batallion sized overseas deployments in more than 4 Countries of Africa not mentioning Policing duties within the country ( to complement the efforts of a police force that has refused to modernize)!
Respects to you Guys.
Career / Between Nuclear Medicine And Oncology. by IdomaLikita: 7:33am On Jan 11, 2017
Dear Egbons and Umunnas in the House...Good morning.Once again, I have come to trouble you.

Quickly, I have a Colleague who is interested in pursuing Nuclear Medicine as an area of Specialization. However, being an evolving specialty in Nigeria with very few centers that render Nuclear services, I fear he may be unemployed at the end of his residency program when He becomes a consultant.
I have asked him to consider areas like Oncology(Radiotherapy) or even Radiology itself since these are well grounded specialties in Nigeria and the entry requirements are similar for all three even though financial prospects differ, but his reasons for preferring Nuclear medicine beats me.

I will appreciate the kind input of our Chiefs in this regard, since Medicine is like a Maze.

Hilarious seeing grown ups this way.

Never ever allow any man put you on your knees, no matter what.

Politics / Re: In The Face Of Recession Nigerians Are Still Strong - Bamisepeters' Blog by IdomaLikita: 5:22pm On Nov 25, 2016
Na dis kind analysis I dey hate...OP only sees the problem with a monochrome lens. The Hardest hit in a recession aint the Upper Middle class, but the Lower Middle class who are pushed into full scale poverty.

Has OP noticed there are more children at home during School hours this period? In my compound, I can count 5.Parents can no longer afford school fees.

Has OP come to Public hospitals to see how people dying? Ordinary Antimalarials go for above N1000 now, and quackery is on the rise because people just can't afford healthcare.

Teeanage Girls have turned to prostitution just to feed themselves and their siblings.

Teenage boys beseige Sport Betting Offices daily, waiting to hammer, because work no dey..not even labourer job.

Things are definitely working for some, but for the 70% "TYPICAL" Nigerians, Destitution stares them in the face.

The Sharia drive of 1999 in Nigeria came out of Zamfara...eventually spreading to other states leading to riots were Christians were killed in Kaduna, Kano, Bauchi...why hasn't Sharia law been a deterrent to these rustlers? Karma?

Illegal Gold mining has been taking place in Zamfara for ages secretly until the lead poisoning saga which blew the lid on this covert sector which I hear receives sponsorship from alot of Ex military men..we all know what happens in Mineral rich areas in Africa- Liberia, Sierra Leone, Congo DRC etc... Violence and illegal mining are in separable. Karma?

Let our senators thoroughly investigate the mining activities in Zamfara with the view of securing and regulating it, only then can violence be curtailed.
