When Tambuwal defected to the APC, his defection made the party the Majority and thus he became unimpeachable but Saraki's defection with his cronies wasn't enough to make PDP the majority that probably is why there could even be a talk of impeachment in the first place.

If the APC with her senators who are still in the majority could muster up the reins and hold a house siting while hoodwinking the clerk of the house into sending a notification to all the other senators then they need less than 45 of their senators to impeach Saraki, as his emergence as senate presidency has implied you don't need 2/3 of the whole senate, you only need 2/3 of the senators in the house sitting.

And when Saraki is Impeached he will seek Judicial redress and his election as senate president also will be brought under question since both processes are same, the court then might order a fresh senate presidency election and I don't see Saraki winning this time around though depending on who APC drops as his opponent.

APC Spokesman, Asiwaju's media aide arrested in Osun (Updated)

The spokesman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has been arrested by security agents in Osogbo, on the eve of the state's governorship election.

In a statement issued in Osogbo on Friday night, his personal assistant, Mr. Williams Adeleye, said Alhaji Lai Mohammed was arrested along with Mr. Sunday Dare, Media Aide to APC National Leader Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the Deputy Chief of Staff to Ogun State Governor, Mr. Salisu.

They were arrested in a Gestapo Style by a team of soldiers and DSS agents while they were heading to the Government House, and taken to an unknown destination in an unmarked truck.

The arrest was the latest in a series of clampdown targeting opposition leaders and members ahead of Saturday's polls in Osun.

disturbing attempt to insert Militarization into the politics of the South-western states from Ekiti and now Osun State solely as part of the 2015 game.
