Sometimes, I do wonder if pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi is an ordinary human being like you and myself or specially formed. Do you know why I am awed? Over the decades since this man of God started his God-given ministry after getting born again, there have never been any scandal associated with him inspite of the fact that Satan and his cohorts have attempted severally to bring him down. Despite that he focuses on holiness which is quite unpopular in this sin-sick world, yet the church he superintendents keeps growing by leaps and bounds. At his age of over 75, he keeps going from place to place, region to region, state to state and occasionally outside Nigeria on his evangelical tour, he seems never to get sick for a day. He knows so much of the Bible by the grace of God and teaches it so clearly that you will think he was there when the holy book was written. Most of the places pastor Kumuyi ministers, instant miracles take place -the blind see, the lame and crippled walk, the dumb speak, the mad and mentally derailed regain their sanity, incurable diseases become cured etc, yet this man remains humble and dwells more on how to prepare people for heaven and eternity with God. He does not emphasize on prosperity, yet most of his members continue to prosper financially and materially. A lot of people hate him and the members of Deeper Life Bible Church with passion and find faults with them (because they tend to believe they know God better than others), yet anywhere he goes, mammoth crowd come out to see and hear him. Most of his former sworn critics have ended up joining the ministry God put him in charge of. No doubt, pastor W F Kumuyi is a rare gift to our generation. To God be the glory! Once again I am tempted to ask, is pastor Kumuyi an ordinary human being? And if he is, what are likely his secrets?

Over the years he has changed like the weather. He ones said the TV was evil no matter what, he once said the Internet is the devil's play ground.... But hey, he now uses the same tools he satanised. A great man of god is the one yet to be caught( note this)

The same guy you called prince of peace? The same guy that said " turn the other cheek" ? Or is it the same guy that says " love your neighbour as yourself" ? This is why Christianity is a dangerous cult.

Coming from a Christian scientist. What do you expect? And why do people think it makes sense to rely on scientists? Bad being a Christian because he has a clouded mind, worse being a scientist because he doesn't know shit.

Thereby producing more pastors.

It is a metaphor. Place and time do not exist , hence there is no physical place but an upgraded state of mind that aligns with that level of consciousness where humans are yet to be. The state where one is Enlightened. The Hindus call it Moksha. A God state where one is willingly of service to others, where one is full of love regardless and unconditionally. This is that place.

Rapture or 2nd coming refers to the awakening of the individual positive consciousness. The moment an individual become aligned with the true nature( for a toddler: the realisation of the God Self),the knowing that you are the same persons as everyone, when an individual loves his neighbour as himself unconditionally. Some say activating the Christ consciousness- because we are all Christs.

But the Christianised mind sees that as a mystery, something they put up there and his beyond them. It is a pity some people think a human will appear to them in the sky. The miseducated ones.

Atheists are allergic to worshiping their creator. I assure you they always end up worshiping their desires, lust, philosophy. He devote so much time and effort to fulfill those desires. Like @op here, he must have spent time and may be efforts before reaching this far reaching conclusion.

You see the need to worship a creator? This is why Grizzlybear is right,no point for deluded,books misunderstanding humans should be on a beautiful planet like this. during that period I really did lots of brain storming and I reached a point of "Madness" then I slowed down. now I don't shove opinion on theists and atheists but I like to call off their ignorance.

For religion,they are misunderstanding the psychological meaning of their holy book. "I AM THE WAY".....I wish people can study that phrase deeply and they will understand what religious was meant to be about.

As for Atheists,they are too in touch with the physical/material which is only a product of psychology. The only good thing about this mindset is that it negates the idea of a separate God the Christians/Muslims and other worship.

People need to make an efford to re-educate themselves. No one can do it for them except themselves.

The bible does not talk about courtship, so I believe it's more of a personal belief. My question is, why do churches make the whole courtship stuff compulsory?

Religion itself is a creation of a society to reform or contain their society. The only way they could make it accepted by their people is to add God. The addition of an all invincible man who watches you all the time even when you are alone makes people reluctantly do bad deeds.

And as you can see Courtship is another invention that is meant to let the couple get used to each other to avoid family breakdown. It was a good invention of humans but years and years down the line the flaws gets exposed.

The church is an institution of indoctrination. It's job is to impose the ideas given to it and not to check if they made sense or not. The Church is gonna make Courtship compulsory because that is what it has been programmed to....even when it has stopped working and outdated.

whats the need of life?

this period gave me enlightenment, my IQ increased beyond my imagination and i felt like God,
during his period i studied my character, thinking pattern.
i practically perceived my self as dangerous, i had no inner conscience again. i saw life like in the jungle. kill or be killed. even my philosopher friend became "enemy within"
my instinct change and i thought like a wild animal. at a time i was even afraid of myself. i looked at my fellow human as just a pile of flesh nothing else.
i was fighting within me a war of "who am i" and "what tha fvck am i doing here"
i saw no need in the nysc scheme anymore, i became "too smart" i almost ran mad.

i read a lot of articles on God, religion, atheism and different fairytale of different cultures


But one day

i asked myself, do i really need to live like this?
generations have come and gone, same question, same problem.
why dont goats worry? or the dogs? why only man?

i cant possible be wiser than every other person. i came up with a quote...

You did not become an Atheist,instead you sort for answers you couldn't find in religion. You were after your missing piece,the missing piece of the puzzle that bothers the religious folks,even Atheists......The question; WHO AM I?

But being religious and Atheist are two sides of a coin. Both are coming from a wrong angle,hence the dilemma they find themselves. "WHO AM I" is the question both failed to answer.
