They told us that the shooting stars were 'travel vehicles' for powerful dibias (native doctors), and when you see one and you are able to count 7, wealth would be yours grin
I remember seeing it few times, but on those occasions, I was not able to count from 1 to 7. I always felt bad. grin

Sprinkle biro ink in a white basin of water and a mermaid will appear.

If lizard bites you, thunder must strike for it to release you.

If a baby bends down and looks through her legs, it can see spirits.

If your food falls on the floor, leave it beciaee devil has eaten it.

If you're sent on errand with the floor spat on, you must return before the spit dries, else your teeth rots.

It was our navel they told us would rotten if we allowed the spittle to dry up.

There is a lady called miss koi koi in our primary school.

If you loose a tooth, throw it on the zinc.

The bird called great egret are called "Shekeleke" and if u are fortunate enough to see it, just wave at it and sing a particular song, it will give u a white finger nails

There is a particular size a python will grow, it will start laying diamonds.

If somebody bite u, rub it with fowl droppings and the person will loose his teeth.

If u have itchy palm, u will have money soon. coincidentally, this one works

When we were done singing, we would look at our finger nail, there was always a thick patch of white on it. Lmao

Kindly list Yoruba owned businesses in Igboland or stop lying. You people are not accommodating to yourselves let alone of strangers.

Coming from someone who does not that there are other regions in Nigeria outside his! It's sickening when people come online and feel like they are entitled to opinions, albeit fatuous and silly ones. Niggar, go out and get yourself exposed and stop passing off as a career blockhead.

What are the political and economic considerations that affect student visa?

Education / Re: 5 Most Difficult Universities To Make First Class In Nigeria by IFEOLUWAKRIZ: 11:30pm On Sep 17, 2020
Please, remove University of Ibadan from your list. If you fail to make first class in Unibadan, trust me, it's impossible to make it from any other Nigerian Universities.
Please, don't get me wrong. I don't mean that UI's exam questions are cheap, or that their first class is sub-stanard. My point is, that University of Ibadan has put everything in place, all you need to excel academically.
It's only in Unibadan where you see lecturers who believe in merit (write well in your exams and you will never be disappointed with the accompanying grades).
Unibadan is not where you see useless sadists who only come to class to boast mischievously how A is for their ancestors, B for their communities' rulers, C for themselves and their wives.
Unibadan is not where you see a group of students tormenting the hell out of a student, all in the name of cultism.
You have fatherly and motherly lecturers, structures and a conducive environment to do well in your studies in Unibadan.
I remember one year like that only law faculty of the school produced 21 first class graduates. I know some universities that would have made sure the number is reduced to only one or even zero just to etch into people's subconsciousness the notion: in this faculty first class no be beans. Lols.

I think UNN, OAU, ABU and UNN should have featured in your list. These schools are notorious for sadist lecturers who are obviously frustrated with everything_ everything absolutely.
