OKOCHA1:
Advanced functional materials.... A1 wasn't required

Furthermore you should notice: Even if you apply for one out of our programs held entirely in English (Micro and Nano Systems , Embedded Systems, Information and Communication systems), you have to prove a minimum of German proficiency. Particularly, you have to provide at least the certificate A1 for German (Goethe Institute, passed exam) already with your application. This formal requirement is usually handled very strictly. So you should not apply without the A1 certificate for German.

That was a reply i got from the reply i got from the academic advisor for Elect/Elect Faculty..
What was the name of the Person you got that Email from? I can actually clarify this directly from the person at this University.

Haaa...... She should email the Nigeria embassy to remind them and they might holla her with the almighty AM.....but hope she has funded already.
What's AM? I have emailed them often, though, on the matter in her name. My question is, what is the actual average time for their decision to be reached now? when i did mine, it toke about 2-3 weeks.

And Yes, she actually funded her account long before she attended her interview.

Please who can help me out here. To fund the blocked account, does one have to add the Deutsche bank charges of 150euros before they can fully agreed the fund is completed. It’s over 3weeks now, I contacted Deutsche bank but they are telling me my account is not fully funded. And the local bank I used(diamond bank) says that have transferred 8640euros to Deutsche bank. I don’t understand what is happening again
yes, tomifizi. You must include the blocking fee. Do that and you will receive sameday (or the next) your blocking notice. How much exchange rate did you pay? I would be happy to pay for you if the rates are better since i need some money in Naira now for my family. I will transfer the amount to your DB bank from Germany here.
TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 5 by ifesly(m):
Hi Guys,

i am here because i am trying to process a student visa for my sister. Indeed, i was very active on Nairaland but since starting my studies here in Germany and working afterwards, i had no much reasons to come here. Nevertheless, here i am to give a tip for those trying to FUND BLOCKED ACCOUNT and general information:

1. There's a policy to fund overseas studies and education (I think it's called Form A) that you can use to fund your account- ie. sourcing your foreign exchange directly at CBN rate. I used this during my time and got rate that was lower than that of Aboki. Go to any bank branch office and ask for it. You must, however, show that the money is for studies. What i used then was my admission letter where it was written that i must have a blocked account with specified amount in it. i did mine at First bank headquarters in Lagos. Usually employees of smaller branches might not know that you are eligible for such payment policy. So it's better to go to the HQ. AGAIN, MY KNOWLEDGE MIGHT BE OUTDATED SINCE I DID MINE IN 2012.

2. I heard someone talking about admission in Technical University Chemnitz (TUC). Since i started my PhD at this school and having done my studies in another school, I can only say that you should be aware that the QUALITY IS EXTREMELY POOR: So if you have other choice in Bayern or Baden-Wüttemberg, go for it. Also, you must know that TUC is in Sachsen state where there's still prevalent case of racism and discrimination. I have had the situation even though i have just been living in Chemnitz for less than a year. Still, if you focus on studies, you should be able drown such things and don't consider it a thing.

3. Now for my question, how long does it typically now take for visa application processing? my sister had her interview since 15.05.18 and till date have not heard anything from them. I had called the responsible person here in Chemnitz office of foreigners (Ausländerbehörde in German) and was informed that she already send her decision since a month ago now to the embassy in Nigeria and we should hear from them "in the next days".

Anybody with information concerning my third remake, please write me a reply here or better still a PM.

Thanks to you all and wishing you all best of luck in your study admission and application processes.

Best regards,
Ifesly
HealthTransmission Of Ebola Virus From Pigs To Non-human Primates by ifesly(op): 1:47pm On Aug 03, 2014
Introduction:

Six four-week old Landrace piglets (Sus scrofa) were oronasally inoculated with 106 TCID50 of ZEBOV (Kikwit 95) per animal. The piglets were transferred to a separate room for the inoculations, and then moved back into the room containing four cynomolgus macaques. This age group was selected based on the previous observation of differences in severity of the disease in ZEBOV inoculated piglets6 to ensure sufficient survival time of the piglets potentially needed for virus transmission, and to determine whether piglets without an overt clinical disease could transmit the virus. The macaques were housed in two levels of individual cages inside the pig pen, and separated from the piglets by wire barrier placed about 20 cm in front of the bottom cages to prevent direct contact between the two species. Bottom cages housing NHPs Nos. 07M and 20F were about 10 cm above the ground, top cages housing NHPs Nos. 34F and 51M were about 1.4 m above the ground. The NHP cages were located immediately to the side of the air exhaust system. The cubicle layout respective to the airflow (ten complete air exchanges per hour) in the room is schematically indicated in Supplemental Figure S1. During the husbandry, piglets were moved away from the cages and enclosed by the gate system. The floor was washed, taking care that the water is sprayed at low pressure and away from the NHP cages, to avoid any splashes into the bottom cages. Also the 20 cm space between the wire barrier and the cages was cleaned separately with running water prior to proceeding with NHP cage cleaning. Both animal species were fed after the cleaning, providing new clean dishes for the macaques, with staff changing disposable outer gloves between procedures and animals. The design and size of the animal cubicle did not allow to distinguish whether the transmission was by aerosol, small or large droplets in the air, or droplets created during floor cleaning which landed inside the NHP cages (fomites). The husbandry flow during the sampling days was: cleaning, followed by sampling, then feeding, with staff changing disposable outer gloves between procedures and animals. Pigs and NHPs were sampled on alternative days except for day 3 post infection, when NHPs were sampled in the morning and the piglets in the afternoon.
Results:
Clinical signs and gross pathology in swine, following the inoculation with EBOV, were comparable to previous infection study in piglets of this age group6. Increase in respiratory rate (up to 80 breaths/min) and in rectal temperatures (40.2–40.5°C) was observed between 5 and 7 days post infection (dpi). All piglets apparently recovered from the disease by 9 dpi. Piglets Nos. 1, 2 and 4 were euthanized at 12 dpi, and piglets Nos. 3, 5 and 6 at 14 dpi, based on experimental schedule. Clinical scores and parameters are provided in the Supplementary Information (Supplemental Figure 2A, Supplemental Table 1). No significant lesions were observed at the necropsy. Microscopic lung lesions were focal and not extensive, characterized by broncho-interstitial pneumonia with a lobular pattern, similar to those described in our previous report6. Virus antigen was detected by immunohistochemistry in three piglets (No. 2, 4, and week signal in No. 5), primarily within the areas of necrosis often adjacent to bronchioles (Supplemental Figure S3A). The presence of virus in the lung was confirmed by detection of EBOV RNA employing real-time RT-PCR targeting the L gene, and by virus isolation on Vero E6 cells for piglet No. 2 and No. 4. Virus isolation was also attempted from lung associated lymph nodes, based on detection of viral RNA, yielding one, successful isolation. Viral RNA was detected in submandibular lymph nodes of all piglets, and in the spleen and liver of two piglets. Low level of viremia based on RNA levels was detected in blood of four piglets at 5 and 7 dpi. EBOV RNA was detected in nasal and oral swabs of piglets from 1 dpi until 7 dpi, inclusively (Figure 1A), and from rectal swabs on day 1 and 5, but not at 3, 7 and 12 dpi (Supplemental Table 1). Viral isolation was attempted on all swabs. Out of 45 oral and nasal swabs positive by RT-PCR, 16 were positive on virus isolation, while two out of 11 RNA-positive rectal swabs tested positive for virus. Presence of EBOV RNA in cell culture supernatants from the isolates with observed CPE was confirmed by real time RT-PCR

quivah: actually poisons don't have expiring date,if you don't believe me...drink it!!!
#just joking

But here, expired food can kill if eaten..
Expired drugs can kill if taken..
So I think expired poison will kill tho with little potential than original.
Actually poisons expire! they are chemicals brewed(prepared) with certain potency. When they exceed their useful life, they tend to loose such potency. Just Note that everything made of chemicals expires.

TO make u understand further, I wrote my first dragnet exams nov last year for cadbury. I did very well. to my greatest dismay, I was not called for the nxt stage. Meanwhile I was invited for diego interview after thr online SHL test.

I never felt discouraged after dat. Since then, I have become regular face @charms city and d more I wrote, d more I knew why I wasn't called then!

For all I have written dragnet test, I have been called only for PZ next stage.

So don't feel up-beat! Just learn to let go and never give up! It may sound weired, I have gotten great disappointments this year dat should make me sign-out from job srarch for this year!

But guess what? I AIN'T QUItING TILL D END OF TIME.
