Weightloss: how to lose weight without visiting the gym... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0DpcKKdyKM I find weight-loss stories very motivational because they consist of some elements one has to incorporate into their life strategies in order succeed. These elements include; discipline, hard-work and perseverance. Losing weight the healthy way has never really been a walk in the park, but there's always good in it, for the subject and for others who draw motivation from it. Cristina is one woman who has been able to lose over 45KG since she commenced her weight-loss journey and she hasn't looked back since then. Find how she did this below. I wasn't always heavy but slowly gained weight after high school over the years. Next thing you know, I'm weighing 245 lbs and my blood pressure was through the roof. My doctor wanted to prescribe me blood pressure medication but I insisted that I try regulating my pressure by getting healthy before going to that extreme. My desire to live a long, healthy life fueled me to completely change my eating habits and get off my butt! I lost just about 100 lbs in less than a year and hope to keep working on my body- Cristina. If like Cristina former self you're looking to get on a weight-loss journey and ultimately live a revitalised life, or you're set to pursue a dream and achieve your set goals, nothing is impossible. Buhari and Jonathan are Vanguard’s personalities of the year 2015! How great does that sound? One of Nigeria’s top newspaper, Vanguard recently announced that President Buhari and his predecessor Dr. Goodluck Jonathan are their personalities of the year. According to the newspaper, they both emerged their personalities of the year because of their persistence and strength of character. “In particular, President Buhari was considered worthy because of his unrelenting political struggles which were reminiscent of a similar struggle by a former American President, Abraham Lincoln.” Vanguard said. Jonathan’s strength of character after losing the presidential election made him worthy for this award. “On his part, former President Jonathan was deemed worthy because he turned out to be a man in possession of a rare strength of character which is alien to Nigeria, by accepting his loss at the polls and conceding victory to Buhari.” the newspaper said What are your thoughts on Buhari and Jonathan as Vanguard’s personalities of the year? Kindly share them with us in the comment section. Source:http://www.ifuennada.com/buhari-and-jonathan-are-vanguards-personalities-of-2015/

The year 2015 breezed in with a strange wind- they called it the “Wind of Change”. This sudden wind swept away the seemingly indomitable PDP out of the seat of power after 16 years of governance, which until this moment is criticized as the most corrupt period in Nigerian history. The current administration has on several occasions blamed the Jonathan administration for the retrogression experienced in several aspects of Nigeria and its economy. Although May 29 saw the swearing-in of Muhammadu Buhari as the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, with high hopes expressed by the international media about the prospects of his government; the fear of accepting the former dictator gripped many who expressed their fears, owing to the fact that they had no clue as to what to expect from his administration. The infamous quote of Muhammadu Buhari as pointed by BBC as the best quote of 2015; “I belong to everybody and I belong to nobody”, was the finest message that spearheaded the anti-corruption crusade. In fact, the APC had come with work as its priority. Several months passed, while Buhari was like a one-man army; taking so much time to name his ministers. This delay was however, heavily criticized by Nigerians on social media, who nicknamed him, “Baba Go Slow”. Well, “good things take time”, they say. No sooner than expected, the EFCC, once rendered helpless by its own enemy, corruption and bankruptcy, came back to life. In spite of whatever is happening today, and months down the line, Buhari’s government has recorded some progress in the journey to the Promised Land. Some of these achievements include; THE REFORMATION OF THE NNPC The NNPC in times past was the cradle of corruption; the money-making machine of the PDP led administration. In lieu of this, president Buhari changed the executives of the NNPC, while appointing himself as the minister of petroleum. Even though he has been criticized for this move, the immense reformation recorded by the NNPC is a sign of good things to come. In fact, the long abandoned refineries have in no time begun production of 2 to 3 million litres of petroleum product; with this amount expected to reach 10 million litres by January 2016. This will be a feat for which Buhari will be remembered, for in a long time. LOWERED PUMP PRICE AND AVAILABILTY OF PETROL In spite of the proposed fuel subsidy removal, the government has assured Nigerians that the cost of petrol shall be N86 effective from 1st January 2016. The minister of state for petroleum, Ibe Kachikwu has affirmed that the Federal Government is doing all it can to ensure that the issue of the subsidy on fuel is resolved without inflicting pain on ordinary Nigerians. The shackles of oil marketers have been broken and more of them have been penalized for hoarding fuel lately. This will ensure that Nigeria is not held to ransom by a few greedy individuals. THE EFFICIENCY OF THE EFCC The EFCC has recorded major feats by bringing to book big names on the political scene, found going against the anti-corruption crusade, charging them for corrupt and criminal activities. Many big names have since visited the four walls of prison cells, not as sympathizers but as inmates either pending fulfillment of bail conditions, or awaiting trial, or as convicts. The infamous Dasuki arms deal scandal and many other cases have seen the EFCC exercise its power without fear or favor, proving to Nigerians immensely, that the fight against corruption has no respect for anyone, regardless of the individual’s position in the society. All in all however, there have been numerous promises assured to take effect in 2015 that were never accomplished which include the rescue of the over 200 Chibok girls who have been missing for over 630 days. Till this moment their whereabouts remain unknown. Furthermore, the Naira has continued to depreciate since its fall in the past administration. We are however compensated by the fact that the 2016 budget holds promises which by analysis will see to it that Nigeria moves unto greater heights while putting smiles on the faces of Citizens. Nevertheless, the year 2016 is seemingly bright as Buhari reassures Nigerians of his commitment to fulfilling his campaign promises. Source:http://www.ifuennada.com/buhari-retrospect-2015-review/

How to pleasure your man in bed- Have you ever thought about this? Have you ever wondered if your man enjoys your sexual life? Sex, is an important part of marriage and the lack of it is a factor that has led to the destruction of several marriages. A married friend of mine once told me how his wife's constant refusal to have sex coupled with several things made him look outside of their marriage. Some women once married, suddenly lose interest in sex thus chasing their men into the arms of a lady who is ready to dance to his tune. Some are even ready to have sex as many times as possible but know little or nothing about what their men want and how to satisfy them sexually. Some days back I sat with a couple of married friends and we got talking about our marriages and most importantly sex. I discovered two of my friends knew absolutely nothing about how to satisfy their men, all they know is just lie there and allow him thrust in and out. Others who knew, felt is changing up the styles once a while. Yes this is true, but there are other things to do to make sure your man is truly $exually satisfied. The following advice will help you know how to pleasure your man in bed or improve the skills you already have 1. Dirty talking: I am yet to see one married man who does not like his woman talking dirty once a while to spice up and hasten the mood. Yes, men love to see the naked body and all, but how about leading him on, and describing in details those things that body he so much desires can do. When you both finally end up In bed or the couch, moan loudly, let him know just how good he is, while moaning throw in few words like, ‘hmmmm, right there, yes, few words just to motivate him. If you get that down, then you can get dirtier. Trust me this stage gets any man crazy when making love to his woman. 2. Make sure to learn different sex position: Don’t just lay there while he thrusts in and out, that can be boring. Spice it up, how about learning more styles to surprise him with in the bedroom? We all have certain things that turn us on, learn those things that turn him on and don’t depend solely on one style; it can lead to a boring sex life which is not good for any marriage. 3. MouthAction: Yes ladies, this is very very important. If really you want to satisfy your man in bed, you must learn the art of MouthAction. Don’t just learn, be awesome at it. Giving fantastic BJs should be top on your lists of learning how to sexually satisfy your man. I have sat with a few male friends who for hours recounted how good a BJ they got from a certain lady was. Now those are just single men, imagine being an expert at MouthAction, trust me your man will cherish you. Yes he might not be able to share with others, but he definitely will be satisfied and happy. 4. Learn your man’s fantasies: Even as women, we all have that one thing that turns us on, same with men. Learn your husband’s fantasies. It could be that he loves it when you wear pink panties, or bikinis or even just loves your feet. Yea, there are men like that. Learn your man’s fantasy and satisfy him. In conclusion What are your thoughts on this topic- how to pleasure your man in bed? Are there any tips you'd like to share? Please leave them in the comment section. Source: http://www.ifuennada.com/how-to-pleasure-your-man-in-bed-married-women-guide/

Dele Momodu, publisher of Ovation International recently took to social media to expose the kidnap of the love child Davido fathered with his niece Sophie. According to several posts by Dele Momodu, Sophie’s 7 month old baby, Imade, was ceased by Davido’s family and kept in custody of his sister, Coco, without the baby mama’s consent while they paid her monthly upkeep and promised to buy her a car. Source:http://www.ifuennada.com/breaking-news-dele-momodu-exposes-davido-and-his-father-says-they-kidnapped-his-cousins-baby/ According to Dele Momodu’s side of the story, the Adelekes’ clamied their reason for keeping the child is because “weed” was found in her system and they believe it was through Sophie’s this got to the young child. This is coming after the public legal drama between Davido and Sophie which happened several hours ago and had Dele Momodu in the mix. An online news platform published the petition filed against Davido and his sister who reports say attempted to leave the country with the baby, but were stopped by immigration officers who also seized their passports. Read the complete story of this Davido’s abduction scandal and what really happened: written by Dele Momodu. In September 2015, I got a call from Dr Adedeji Adeleke, a long time family friend, telling me his son had fathered a baby girl with my cousin, Sophia Momodu. I rejoiced with him as any reasonable soul would do. He apologised that he had not called all along because he wasn’t sure if Sophie’s baby was going to turn out a fake one like that of two others who had turned up at his doorstep. But mercifully, according to Dr Adeleke, Sophie’s baby passed the DNA Test by over 98 percent and he was elated. I congratulated him again as a proud grandfather. He said he would like to meet me with Sophie since Sophie’s dad, Uncle Jibola Momodu, passed on years ago and Sophie mentioned me as her cousin. I had known about Sophie’s baby through her first cousin Ruth Abraham and had called to congratulate her. I was happy when she sent me pictures of the baby and other romantic pictures with David Adeleke, aka Davido. But I never contacted David’s dad deliberately so as not to create the impression of begging for marriage. Where we come from, it is the man who approaches the lady’s family to plead to be allowed to marry into the family. Prior to this phone call from Dr Adeleke, Sophie had narrated to me how on the 11th July, 2015, she was tricked to Davido’s sister, Coco Adeleke’s house with her baby, Imade Aurora Adeleke. After getting to the house on Baderinwa Alabi Street, Lekki Phase I, Lagos, her baby was forcefully taken from her and she was thrown out of the premises with the threat that she would be decisively dealt with if she ever bothered to return there. There were armed policemen in the premises and to avoid what could have been a messy encounter, instinct prevailed on her to make her leave her breast suckling baby behind, with so much pain in her heart. By daybreak on the next day, Sophie was again at Coco Adeleke’s house to take her baby, but she was prevented by armed policemen from gaining access into the house. She was again threatened and warned never to return for the child. Despite the pain and trauma my cousin was made to undergo, I restrained myself from getting directly involved in the matter and appealed to her to stay calm and take it easy with the Adelekes. But after the phone call from Dr Adeleke, precisely on September 10, 2015, I picked up Sophie and her mum and drove to Dr Adeleke’s home in Lekki, Lagos. All through this time, I had waited patiently to meet Dr Adeleke with questions probing for answers. Dr Adeleke invited two of his close friends to the meeting namely His Majesty OBA ADEDOKUN ABOLARIN and Mr Wale Adeeyo. We went into lengthy discussions. His daughter Coco had brought in the little baby and both attended the meeting. Dr Adeleke explained why it took some time to call me and I said I understood. Dr Adeleke said the baby was discovered to have traces of marijuana in her during medical test and said he believed Sophie and David were smokers and he needed to protect the child from two irresponsible parents, as he described them. He told the gathering that the baby would be under temporary custody and observation. He directed that Sophie would come to his house every Sunday to see her baby. Our family agreed. He promised to pay Sophie a monthly upkeep. We thanked him for his kindness. He promised to buy her a car. We were grateful for his generosity. We had dinner with him and left. David was not present. Sophie said she got the monthly upkeep but never got the car and that she prefers to have her baby back and the Adelekes can keep their money. I called Dr Adeleke and he said I should allay her fears. I pleaded again for patience. I was shocked when Sophie called me desperately and said her daughter was being taken to Dubai by Coco. I immediately called Coco and she said she was taking the baby for intensive medicals and I wondered how she would pass through the airport without the consent of Sophie but she actually did and even sent me pictures from Dubai. I played it cool and encouraged Sophie to calm down. Sophie became withdrawn and extremely saddened. The situation went from bad to worse. She and David became aggressive enemies. At a point, David sent messages to Sophie and using the ‘f’ word against me. His father was shocked and called him to apologise which he did and I accepted and even told him how much I love him. The worst came when my wife came from London and went with Sophie to check on the baby at Coco’s house and they were literally walked out and told they were not welcome in her house. My wife called and I called Dr Adeleke who said they should go to his house and wait for him. Their meeting did not go well because my wife asked when the baby would be returned to her mum and Dr Adeleke went into the same old story of marijuana abuse and Sophie said she was ready for a test which Dr Adeleke wasn’t interested in. Dr Adeleke explained why the car had not been bought and my wife told him the baby was the issue and not the car. Dr Adeleke didn’t like the sound of this but it was reaching a point that some truth needed to be told that a baby cannot be bought with money. I flew to Nigeria on December 28, 2015 after Sophie told me the Adelekes were travelling to Dubai with her baby without her consent again. As soon as I landed I called Uncle Wale Adeeyo, a close confidant of Dr Adeleke and expressed our displeasure at the way Sophie was being treated and he promised to speak to Dr Adeleke. When he came back to me he didn’t sound too positive. We spoke several times and nothing tangible came out of his supposed intervention. I called Oba Dokun Abolarin but he was busy at a wedding in Ibadan. I then called Uncle Wale again and told him Sophie has plans to stop the trip on the knowledge that David has collected an American passport for the baby and the rumour that the baby was being abducted to America. I pleaded that we should avoid a confrontation. I headed to the airport to alert the authorities including Immigration and Emirates. As predicted, the Adelekes arrived the airport with the baby where Immigration had laid in wait for them. Coco came forward and was asked who the mother of the baby was and she claimed ownership and her passport and that of the baby were taken away by Immigration. Her dad was alerted and he came to the office of the Comptroller with others to try and rescue the passports but the Immigration stood their grounds. I saw him making frantic calls but he gave up after the flight departed. He repeated the same boast that no one could ever take the baby from him and I told him to stop talking like God. No one likes a fight but we have been treated shabbily and had to stop the charade. We could not be intimidated and everyone at the airport expressed shock and horror at such a brazen attempt to export a human being only seven months old without the mother. We thanked the officers who rescued us from a powerful family. We are always for peace, justice and equity. No one threatened the Adelekes with any expose unless they were using reverse psychology. Personally, I’m not a junk writer and would never descend so low to abuse those permanently connected to us through an innocent baby. We love the baby like they do and such an innocent child deserves to be protected by both families.

The families of one Funke Balogun, have alleged that their daughter was killed while she stepped out of the house with her boyfriend, Adetunji on Sunday, December 27. Funke, a National Diploma II student of Yaba College of Technology(YABATECH ), reportedly left the house with her 24 year old boyfriend Adetunji , who picked her up at her house at about 11pm, at first with the intention of going to the beach but a call eventually came from the deceased notifying her family of their changed plans to visit a hotel, located at 30, Balogun Street Oshodi, Lagos; before her death. Source:http://www.ifuennada.com/boyfriend-in-trouble-over-yabatech-students-death/ However, Adetunji and his family have refuted the claim stating that the deceased was electrocuted. According to The Nation, the family of the deceased became worried when they did not hear from her after the call. Her younger sister, Funmi narrated that, “Abolade was in a hurry that night and I told my sister not to go but she picked some of her things and left with him. On Sunday morning around 7, she called and said plans had changed that they were not going to the beach again but to a hotel and since then, we have been trying her mobile line. “When she didn’t pick her call, I became worried. That day was her birthday and our mother still called her in the midnight to pray for her. Even, when my mum called Abolade’s mobile line, someone picked and said he forgot his phone and since then his lime has been switched off.” Funke rushed to the hotel but was told that Adetunji had just stepped out, but without any girl. She then rushed to Adetunji’s house where his family she was told that he had gone to the beach. She further told the Nation that, ” Around 8pm on Sunday, my cousin and I went to the hotel again, I sighted blood on the wall and when I asked Abolade’s brother, Bayo where my sister was, he said: ‘at the moment, Funke is dead’. “He said it without remorse and was still icing drinks in the freezer. Even when we went to the police station, they said they were not aware of the incident. Is that how my sister will die? She has been dating him for almost a year. He just returned from NYSC orientation camp in Anambra State. The boy is very proud to the extent that whenever he visited her, he didn’t greet anyone.” Meanwhile, Adetuji narrates his own side to the story, while speaking to the Nation, he alleged that Funke was electrocuted while he went to get toothpaste from his brother who occupied the next floor because there was no toothpaste in the room they had lodged. “She was already in the bathroom and I went to meet my brother who was on the same floor with us to get the toothpaste. As I returned to the room, I tried to open the toilet door but it was stiff. As I gained access to the toilet, I met her on the floor with a shower handle on her right hand. When I tried to carry her, I didn’t know what happened until I saw myself on hospital bed,” he said. Mr. Jamiu Adetunji, father of the deceased’s boyfriend, said his elder son called their mother that they needed a doctor. “Immediately we took them to Geo Medical Centre where Funke eventually gave up. We first took her to General Hospital, Ikeja but she was rejected because there was none of her family members with us. It was later we reported the incident to Akinpelu Police Station where they took the body to Yaba mortuary. “I wouldn’t want to kill someone else’s daughter. Funke was my son’s girl friend and I told her to help me monitor his movement because at times he wouldn’t listen and since he talked about her dearly, I felt she was going to inspire him. It is really unfortunate. My son has put me in trouble. “Even when they wanted to know the girl’s full name, I pinched my son few times just for him to wake up. I have arrested the electrician that connected light to the building because last Friday, occupants of the building beside the hotel complained of shock in their house and I told the electrician but he refused to come. It was after the incident he came and was arrested,” Mr Adetunji narrated. Jaguar came out firing shots at Iyanya early this year after his remix video featuring Iyanya. Source: http://www.ifuennada.com/a-supposedly-popular-kenyan-artiste-bashes-iyanya-says-nigerian-artistes-use-them-to-get-popularity/ “Besides, I am not just ranting. Ask yourself why they have shows here yet no Kenyan artiste can be hosted in Nigeria. I have never had a show in Nigeria and I am not interested. Someone tell them that they can shut me out. And for that, I have no apology,” he maintained. “I went to Nigeria and found that they are experiencing more problems than we do here. That is why they are looking for green pastures by using other artistes from across Africa as their launching pad,” Standard Media reported him to have said this.

(For More Natural Ways To Lighten Skin visit - http://www.ifuennada.com/2015/12/04/how-i-lighten-my-skin-with-lime-see-top-skincare-uses-of-lime/) Watch our 6mins video on the Best way To Lose Weight At Home- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fTGfqO6Ri4s Lime is one of my favourite in the citrus family and it's because of many great reasons. One of this is its ability to naturally lighten the skin and give it a nice glow. This small fruit has several health and skin benefits thanks to its large amount of Vitamin C, antioxidants and flavonoids. All over the world Limes are widely used in making beverages and cosmetic products. However some people are ignorant of the invaluable benefits of Lime. I've heard people say that lime prevents ladies from conceiving, that is just an unhealthy myth. Today I'm going to share some skincare benefits of Lime that work (I am a living testament). If your favourite spa will be kind enough to reveal their beauty secret ingredients to you, I'm sure Lime will definitely make that list. So here are some skincare benefits of Lime; 1. Treats dark spots: Lime is a natural harmless bleaching agent thanks to its huge reservoir of Vitamin C. To lighten dark spots, apply Lime juice to affected areas with cotton ball and leave for 20-30 minutes. It's advisable to try this treatment in the evening or when you're not exposed to sunlight. This remedy can make your skin sensitive to sunlight, but if you have to do this in the morning before going out, please apply sunscreen and wear protective covers like a nice hat and a pair of sunglasses. If your skin is too sensitive to Lime juice, please dilute it with water half the amount of the juice. 2. Lime for a glowing skin: To use Lime as a glowing skin agent, all you need do is squeeze fresh Lime juice into a glass of lukewarm water mix with some honey and drink this regularly every morning. This is one of my beauty secrets and it works! 3. Removal of dead skin cells: The presence of citric acid in Lime acts as an exfoliating agent which gets rid of dead skin cells. To use Lime for this purpose, scrub your face with a cotton ball soaked with freshly squeezed Lime in the evening after your bath. You can also dilute it with water half the amount of the juice if it's too acidic for your skin type. 4. Treats open pores: Lime oil contains astringent properties and can be used to tighten pores and reduce oil production which results in a flawless and brighter complexion. Extracting lime oil on your own could be futile, but Lime oil is available for purchase, check your favourite online store. 5. Skin Rejuvenation: Lime helps rejuvenate your skin and protects it from infection, thanks to its antioxidant, antibiotic and disinfectant properties. To reduce sweat and body odour, simply mix some Lime juice in your bath water and you're sure to experience a rejuvenating experience. 6. Lime juice for acne and blemishes: It's not news that acne and pimple are common problems for people with oily skin (Ifu inclusive). To combat these problems, make a Lime and honey paste and use it as a facial every week. While honey possesses antibacterial properties that prevents the growth of bacteria, the acidic nature of Lime juice controls excess oil, fights pimples and prevent new ones from popping up. This paste will gradually cause acne scars to fade. 7. Anti-ageing properties: Scrubbing your face with Lime peel or applying facials containing lime properties can immensely reduce hyper-pigmentation caused by excess melanin production no thanks to ageing and over-exposure to sunlight. 8. Lime juice against dark underarms: Lime juice can significantly reduce dark underarms. For this purpose, scrub your underarms with cotton ball soaked in Lime. You can expect results after 2 or 3 applications. Please do not use this remedy immediately after waxing or shaving, a day after is advisable. These are some skin benefits of Lime that work. I say this because Lime plays a major role in my beauty regimen. Few years ago, I had a terrible acne attack that slightly stole my confidence, after several failed medications, a close friend suggested Lime remedy and it worked perfectly. I started seeing visible changes after the first application. PS: If you're not sure about the effect of Lime on your skin, please don't hesitate to speak to your beautician or a dermatologist. If Lime juice is too acidic for you skin, please dilute with water before application or discontinue use. Have you tried any Lime application or will you be trying any? Please leave your comments and suggestions below.
