Bag of rice cost N2500 in 1999. Same bag cost N10,000 in 2014. Same bag costs N26,000 in 2020. So in 20years, the price of Rice has increased by 1000%.

01: WHAT IF THERE’S AN EMERGENCY FIRE OR THEFT? OR MAYBE RELATIVES? The probability of an emergency cannot be ruled out especially when you live in India. There could be faulty wires, an unexpected spark, theft or if not that, relatives (in our country, they may not knock). You would sure be a vision to watch, trying to prioritize between saving life or honour.

02: WHAT IF YOU WANT SOMETHING THAT’S NOT ACCESSIBLE IN YOUR ROOM? LIKE WATER? OR MID NIGHT SNACKS? If you live alone, no problem there. But if you have home mates and you want to go out in the middle of the night, wearing your clothes with groggy eyes is a super difficult task. Or, let’s say you try to smuggle out your body while tiptoeing in the dark, you would actually feel like a burglar in your own house. Solution? Just wear some clothes when you go to bed.

03: YOUR PRIVATES AGAINST THE SHEETS AREN’T AS COOL AS IT SOUNDS: We know it sounds heavenly, but believe us it is not. We trust that you are a grownup now who will not pee in the bed but there could be farting, sweating and what not. If you say you don’t do these, you are not a human. Specially if you turn and toss in bed, imagine putting your face where your butt was. Not so cool, right?

04: SOMEONE AT LEAST WILL CALL YOU THE KING OF PLAYBOY OR A STRUMPET: [/b]We know that’s stereotyping but who doesn’t do that? For our families, uncles and aunts, unclothedness is about sex. Or shower. Nothing more nothing less.

[b]05: NIGHT CLOTHES WILL SOAK UP ALL YOUR SWEAT: Let’s say no one walks in, you have all that you need placed right next to you and no one knows you sleep naked, still a comfy oversized T-shirt and boxers will be better as they soak up all your sweat. And come on, the T-shirt and boxers are the most comfortable clothing ever made by humans, even more than nothing at all. Who are we kidding? OK??

VERDICT: To sleep naked or not is absolutely your call. After all, it is all about your comfort. There are indeed benefits of sleeping naked and you can read them here, but here's a heads up, it may not be the most comfortable thing to do.

Buying directly from the suplliers is 300. Major supermarket for my junction dey sale extract bathing soap for 930 naira but my street supermarket dey sell am 1,500. An Air Force Tarma Four Cadet named Emmanuel reportedly passed away a few months before his graduation from the National Defence Academy (NDA).

Emmanuel was said to have died in the swimming pool of a popular hotel located in Umuahia, the Abia State capital while he had gone to have fun.

A source who spoke on the condition of anonymity said the late Emmanuel had come to the facility which was undergoing renovation to swim.

It was however not clear if the victim was informed about the ongoing renovation exercise before he dived into the pool.

His body was later rescued by men of the state fire service and later confirmed dead at Federal Medical Centre Umuahia.

He was rescued with his swimming trunks, indicating that he had prepared to swim before the unfortunate incident happened.

He was said to have disappeared from the pool at about 6:37 pm but was rescued around 9:58 pm

The swimming pool was said to be in bad shape, making the rescue effort difficult.


Reports said there were equally no divers to assist in the rescue effort till the arrival of men from the state fire service.

The Army Public Relations Officer (APRO), 14 Brigade of the Nigerian Army, Ohafia, Lt. Innocent Omale could not respond to inquiry over the matter at the time of filing the report.

After securing qualification for the 2024 Olympics, Super Falcons of Nigeria are now confirmed to face world champions Spain, Brazil, and Japan in the women’s football tournament in Paris.
