Op my advice is that you use a different sim card and send a text message to the woman warning her not to succumb to the man's wickedness, that you know what is going on and will not hesitate to report her.
Na four forty she go run.
But that man get mind sha,e be like say to die dey hungry am.

Take this advice. If you tell d aunty, she may get angry that you poke nosed. So, anonymously sent a message to plead with her to maintain her decision that u have evidences to show how she has been resisting the man. Let her know that the man is a chronic womaniser, so she doest think it's all about her... Tell her, others may, but she must not because she is a cousin to the wife.

Type the message hardcopy and send through a delivery man or send a friend to deliver it to maintain confidentiality.

If she is good, marry her, it will be unfair to judge her with her sister's standard. Beside, maybe, once u accept to marry, her sister will stay clear knowing u are now involved with her sister.

Politics / Re: Sit At Home: Why Has Nigerian Government Failed To Arrest Simon Ekpa? by ify84(m): 6:44pm On Jul 15, 2023
Penguin2:
It’s easy for some characters who wish to see southeast burn, to sit on Nairaland and gloat about what is going on in Southeast.

But what these guys have failed to acknowledge is the fact that Igbos are not in support of Simon Ekpa and his rogue activities.

The parent group, IPOB, has severally denied association with this character. But haters will always paint the picture as if Igbos are in support of these criminals.

The question now, why has the Nigerian government that haunted Nnamdi Kanu all over the world until they arrested him in Kenya, failed to lift a finger towards the arrest of Simon Ekpa?

Could Ekpa be working for some anti-Southeast agents?

Can any of those gloating about sit at homes in the East point to a single Igbo supporter of Simon Ekpa?

For the govt to be silent about him... And the way the Yorubas are gloating over tbe sit at home violence we experience... I suspect Ekpa is working for the government.

Travel / Re: Japa: Avoid countries with too many Nigerians! by ify84(m): 3:46pm On Jul 09, 2023
AllKnowing:
Message: Avoid countries with a large population of Nigerian Immigrants (except the US).

This isn’t a diatribe against my fellow countrymen. It is the new truth. And here’s why:

1. You and the over one million Nigerian immigrants in the west will have to hustle for the same opportunities. Foreign employers will invariably pit one Nigerian against another during the hiring process. Only the best talents will win. And you, the not-so-skilled one, will have to find better luck elsewhere. But while a little competition is healthy, a protracted period of lack and being broke in a foreign land is no joke.

2. Our infamy (as fraudsters, drug lords, downright dishonest folks) precedes us as Nigerians. Maybe the math doesn’t add up; I’ve often noticed, while vacationing across Euro-Asia, that countries sparsely populated with Nigerian immigrants have no biases against us. Their ignorance is our bliss. And how is this helpful? You can easily find jobs, get legal paperwork done without the usual profiling. Need I say more?

3. Path to PR/ Citizenship. There’s a long waiting line in our usual go-to countries. Why? You’re not the only one who wants the good stuff. Wale, who arrived last week, is going toe to toe with you who’s been there for a decade.

4. Quality of jobs is another salient point. Because all the other “prestigious” jobs aren’t taken up by other foreign expatriate, you get to have your pick. Not everyone’s cut out to be a doctor or a nurse. But you could easily find other good jobs that don’t involve working long arduous hours.

5. Please don’t bring the currency argument here. You don’t spend naira in, for instance, the UK. Stop the conversion. Stop it!

PS: From the start, I mentioned that the US was an exception to my opinion. Why? Economically, it is the only nation on earth with the capacity to nurture immigrants and lead them to financial success. Hey, the [new] American Dream is a real thing.

You should have listed the countries aside US where Nigerians are not ober populated.

Igbos should not allow these terrorists elements win the war of frustrating south east economy.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Executive Scam: Does It Make Sense For Government To Publicise Job Vacancies? by ify84(m): 2:18pm On Jul 04, 2023
AntiTerrorist:
After the people in government (federal and states) might have shared job slots among themselves, they will still go ahead to advertise "vacant positions" to the public. It is more unfortunate that these people will still ask unemployed graduates to pay money for forms for non-existing jobs. In last eight years, have you seen anyone who got federal or state job based on merit?

There was a year FRSC was recruiting and people were asked to converge at designated places across the country for the purpose of physical and academic screenings. But here on Nairaland, we had already seen someone's employment letter from the same FRSC. The person was employed and posted to Maiduguri few weeks before the abracadabra screening that was going on in towns. Is it possible for a government agency to recruit every month?

In Nigeria of today, if you don't have long legs, if you don't know somebody or know somebody who knows somebody, seeking government job might be an effort in futility. Why? Because slots are shared among politicians and top civil servants. In addition to connection, you must also have millions in your account. Is Nigeria society not pathetic?

Many still get federal jobs on a platter. However, we understand what you are saying as it is in the majority.
