abioz:Same to you too. Kissq, you know the thread at the family section was the inspiration but I thought here is better. It is well ![]() |
Nonso23:Lending a helping hand is seen as "meddling" in your place? Not so in mine. Like I said, my own "Okafor" won't see it as a biggie, he would call FIL sef to thank him. Life is easy when we make it so. Whatever works for you, my dear. No time for argument at all. |
Enkay,a pleasure ![]() Happy holidays. |
My husband go rock the car, use am pose all over town sef, tell friends say he don buy him babe a new car. Lol Ego is the issue here. Or maybe the way the wife presented the gift to the hubby ie she mocked him or something. Either ways, I won't return the car, something that would ease my suffering because one "Okafor with big blokos and dry pocket" for house feels threatened oo. Na lie oo. He will have to sort his issues himself, I go jeje give am space to sulk and get over himself. |
xtervaganza:Awwww. God bless you plenty! |

Adecephas why are you glued to the thread today again? Please don't be greedy, give others the chance to win . na wao. |
Very little to show for all the noise and hype, IMO. Drainages from elf to Jakande (lekki) abandoned, weed taken over. Potholes, daily patching of the so-called new tolled express road. Case study Chevron, Igbo efon areas. VGC pedestrian bridge abandoned. Flood taken over the "alternative route" cos of no drainage. From 4 points by sheraton down to Oniru mkt, same for Marwa just by the elevation church. Touts everywhere, collecting ridiculous levies and fees. |
Scary pictures. Churches now organise beauty pageants? Ovoko ![]() |
Awwww. My Henry. Black is beautiful. |
Adecephas:Na wao for you. How could you grab all? |
Ama80:I'm here, ma. ![]() |
Pepper spray in fancy cans, stun gun etc are all sold in Nigeria, Lagos at least. Staying indoors, don't step out until it's 6am, once it's 6pm, stay indoors. Create your own fun. Maintaining a low profile. No unnecessary posing on or off the Internet. Being kind, nice and courteous to everyone ( driver, nanny, security guy, cashier, front desk) Be smart and street wise. Blend in any environment. ^ ^. My lagos survival tips. Nice thread. |
Hmmmn Politics of sentiments : religion, tribalism and nepotism. Last time it was Bakare, now it's RCCG. Jokers. |

Aww. May God make it easy for us, some people are going through really tough times. I pray she finds peace with her maker. |
SUV:Lazy how? What's her job description and what's she not doing? Am I the only one with an awesome help in this lagos? Make I share my own positive story sha. My help is a part time student. She's absolutely the best and have been with us for 4 years plus now. My children sees her as their big sister and she's a small sister to me. I travel a lot and she holds the forte, no shaking or fear!!! She's simply God's blessing to me and my household. Her salary is fair and well earned. She'll be getting married soon and I'm happy and sad. Lol I love herrrrrrrrr like kilode. |
Mmmmh |
That's not Karen. Obvious photoshop. |
prettythicksme:Why? He thinks you(and him) can't raise them in the US? Whatever babes, communication in marriage is everything! . Don't start by raising ultimatums like " I can't leave my son behind, etc" . Talk with him calmly and make him understand that the best people to train a child is the parents. Make him see reasons with you. Also, see his OWN reasons, no matter how stuuupid u think it is and work out the best for your family. I wish u the very best. And hope you'd make the BEST decision for your family after carefully, thinking through your family circumstance , regardless of what advisory you get here. |
