The building was originally a bungalow before it was converted to a 2 storey building. The labourers and menial workers were trapped(about 4 of them) and sadly, all the government could provide were axes for digging. One of the trapped guy even called someone with his phone. All because of greed on the part of landlord plus the town planning officials who would not do the right thing because their palms have been greased.
