Elusive001:I think 'Islam' is just one part of the problem (probably 40% of it)! The other or bigger part of the problem are the Arabs (Middle-East and North Africa).....a extremely racist and intolerant set of people who go to the Europe, North America and even come to Nigeria and expect to be treated fairly and have their human rights respected, but are not prepared to accord similar rights and priviledges to black Africans in their own countries! |
Dchampion65:'He was allegedly involved' you say! Oh...and there was i thinking he had already been found guilty of some offence! |
SmartPolician:.......Added to all the wuruwuru they've got planned with all the PVCs they have in storage! |
9jatriot:Was he actually aquitted or did the case collapse on a 'technicality'? I believe the appropriate term here is discharged! To aquit means the facts of the case as presented by the prosecution underwent rigorous scrutiny in court and were found to have no merit! This wasn't the case in this instance! No surprise that the Guardian report detailing why the CCT said it freed Tinubu in error has been removed from their archives! Dude, the fact that you're not bothered your god Tinubu was found to be in the company of drug dealers and made to refund hundreds of thousands of dollars as a consequence of said association.....the fact this doesn't worry you says all that needs to be said about you and just how defective your moral compass is! |
9jatriot:Hehehehehe ![]() Nairaland links to beer parlour gossip! Surely you can do better than this! ![]() Talk about clutching at straws! |
9jatriot:Na....swearing ain't my style mate! I cited a instance in which a neutral party (the US gov't) incriminated your godfather of having something to do with drug dealing, and he was made to forfeit hundreds of thousands of dollars without so much as a whimper in protest! Who hands over such a huge amount of money if their conscience is clear and their hands clean.....tell me!? Also, the code of conduct tribunal once investigated your godfather and it wasn't surprising that the case collapsed on a 'technicality' and wasn't determined on its merits or otherwise! I just tried clicking on a Guardian report on the case in which the CCT later admitted error in freeing Tinubu, and it came as no surprise that Guardian has removed the report from its archives! Here's the link that doesn't work anymore: https://guardian.ng/news/cct-admits-error-in-freeing-tinubu-okays-sarakis-trial/Like i said earlier, any conscienceless fool, for whatever reason, can yarn utter bullshit about Peter Obi....talk is cheap as well as free! What proof did the fella bring to back-up his 'claims' and what actions did he take on the matter.....and did any relevant gov't agency respond to the 'claims'? |
aswani:It's obvious YOU re the one that's not ok! I mean....have you seen your post history lately? It's all Peter Obi...NDC...Mazi Kanu...IPOB all over the place! 'Peter Obi isn't popular in Anambra state....came 2rd in the last farce of a presidential election....and is no match for your emilokan mandate thief', yet you're obsessed with him and his ethnicity to the point of insanity! Get a life! |
9jatriot:Horseshit! How can 'any serious gov't' arm, body or agency investigate your godfather when they're all in his pocket!? That he was made to refund hundreds of thousands of dollars by a court in the US after being incriminated in murky drug deals is enough for him never to be allowed anywhere near Aso-Rock until he gives a satisfactory explanation to clear his name.....that's if Nigeria had been a sane and decent society! Anybody bristling with hate for Peter Obi or who has been paid to carry out a hatchet job against him can wake up and begin to yarn rubbish against him! 'Peter Obi had drug-related dealings' and your Tinubu controlled NDLEA or DSS are yet to pick him up for questioning!? Give me a break! |
Cyberterror:In desperation to find 'dirt' on Peter Obi, you and your emilokan ilk keep on reposting this pic! What point exactly are you trying to make....that Peter Obi was 'bribing' the electorate on election day or what? What were the circumstances under which the pic was taken......i mean, what was the occassion? Tell me....i'm waiting! |
georgeakins:Is that a 'fact'? Care to tell us how you knew this? |
truthera:Spot on! Hope you saw how the usual vile Igbo-haters were besides themselves with joy as they gave traction and support to the earlier story of Mazi kanus' 'expulsion' from IPOB! I've always posited that if the actions or pronouncements of any Igbo is cheered and encouraged by the same people that despise you....see you as a '2nd-class person/Nigerian' never fit to be president....sabotage your economic and territorial interests....and wish you death, then just know you're on the wrong track and working against justice, fairness and the interests of your own people! But then again, i've equally posited that a huge part of our problem as Ndigbo comes from within! And by this i mean that the evil hegemonic establishment always seems to find a handful of judas Igbos' they can use to further their anti-Igbo agenda....and this has been going on right from the time of the uncivil war of 1967-70! The enemy takes advantage of the greed, selfishness, self-hate, ignorance and daftness of these Igbo to find a opening to breech our defenses, and this is what has played out with this recent IPOB issue! One of the reasons, out of many, why the hegemonic alliance wants to keep Mazi Kanu incarcerated is so they can try and sabotage and 'factionalise' IPOB and the secessionist movement! Thus far THEY HAVE FAILED AND WILL CONTINUE TO FAIL! |
Hehehehehe ![]() You can now begin to understand just how it transpired that the white man left his base in Europe bearing gifts of mirrors, hot drink and trinkets, and succeeded in convincing daft black Africans to sell their kinsfolk into slavery! With m'orons like this, who worryingly are in the majority, it's safe to conclude there's no hope for this country! |
yarimo:But why are you overjoyed...even sounding relieved!? I thought your sort always brag that Ndigbo are worthless to APC and are 'insignificant', so why are you happy that your demonic and anti-Igbo party has 'won' a election in the region? |
Can't say i'm surprised really! I always expected a lot of rigging would be done via the truckloads of illegally procured PVCs they have at their disposal....whether it's the ones they pay to collect from the original owners; the ones they have in storage which they collected during the extended PVC registration; or the cloned PVCs which they will pay strangers to present on the day! They, in cahoots with the criminal Amupitan-led INEC, have got their rigging plans well laid out, and this is what gives them the arrogance and cocksure attitude they display even in the face of their woeful performance in governance! What you see playing out now would be childs play compared to what they will get up to in the presidential election next year! This one is them against themselves....wait till it's them against a contestant of a different ethnicity, that's when you will see rigging! |
Saw the thread title and decided to click and check who the OP was as i had my suspicions! And i wasn't disappointed.....it was the usual jobless suspect, hunting as usual for anything negative on Ndigbo to rush and post on nairaland! |
Dreal1247:Watch.....he'll soon mention Tinubu! ![]() |
HacheNoire:Do STFU! You're boring! If i told you to give reasons why you're overjoyed at the evil antics of your Tinubu gov't regarding Mazi Kanu can you? Murderous and bloodthirsty Fulani terrorists are being set free under the watch of a cowed, clueless and desperate Tinubu gov't in the name of being 'repentant', but you're so fargone with your hate and bigotry to see anything wrong with this! |
For anyone still wondering why in light of the parlous state of affairs in the country, the horde of emilokan minions (à la Despicable Me) still have the temerity to run their mouths and sound so cocky, the OP should help give some clarity on the matter! You normally hear them make assertive and bold statements like: 'Peter Obi WILL NEVER be president'......or 'don't come and cry after Tinubu is declared winner in 2027'....or 'there's no polling booth on social media'....etc! A neophyte listening to all this will be scratching their head and wondering if the fellas making these assertions are living in the same Nigeria with the rest of us, or if they're living in another Nigeria in a parallel universe! |
WhiteIverson:This is obviously a AI edited picture deceitfully being presented on this section and forum as fact, yet this section has moderators who apparently see nothing wrong in keeping the thread alive! This stands in stark contrast to how, on another thread, my reply to a known Tinubu minion was sharply hidden within a few seconds of me posting it! Go figure! |
I think at this point the apt phrase talk is cheap is needed to help put things in perspective! Good and effective governance is more than cho cho cho! |
Kushites:What's this deluded mofo banging on about this time!? Dude, you need to get your block head out of the clouds and get back down to earth and reality! Nigeria is a absolute disgrace, a embarassment, and a disappointment to sub-sahara Africa given the way it's managed its affairs since the colonial gov't left in 1960! What you claim to be 'independence' was nothing but the Brits handing over the baton of oppression, subjugation and illegal appropriation of national wealth to the greedy, tribalistic, ill-bred, ill-read and unprepared Nigerian elite of the time (political, chieftaincy and subsequently military) who moved into the palatial mansions just vacated by the Brits in the leafy and serene GRAs of Ikoyi, Lagos Island, Enugu, and Kaduna! The Nigerian elite mainly continued from where their former colonial masters left off! Of course there were exceptions to the norm as a few bright sparks existed amongst this elite, but their good efforts were eventually undone by the internal structural contradictions and faulty foundation the post 'independent' Nigeria was built on! We also had well-intentioned and capable elite who started off well, but were eventually corrupted by the post 'independent' political, economic and ethno-religious dynamics of the time which turned them away from the positive values that initaially moulded their world-view and career in politics and gov't! For you to infer that, but for a 'independent' Nigeria, its component parts couldn't have gone it alone and become successful and progressive societies in their own right says a lot about what drives you as a person! Any honest assessment of how Nigeria has performed since 'independence' will come up with the conclusion that that country has perfomed woefully and actually retrogressed given the monumental resources (human and material) it had at its disposal, as well as given how well we have done in comparison with similar or less endowed countries of the time like Malaysia, Singapore, Brazil, South-Korea, Japan, Saudi-Arabia, etc! |
Wealthyonos:When exactly will that time come? Since 'independence' Nigeria has been on a downward spiral in all facets of national life....escpecially in its morality quotient, yet you're still optimistic things will improve! |
Okolo2122:What's the point? It's not as if the Nigerian police has the capacity to find her killers? The descent into depravity and pure evil continues apace in Nigeria, and it seems to have gathered pace since 2015! What was the notable event that happened in Nigeria then that could have precipitated this accelerated decline.....anyone!? |
ekitimanalways:Yet another fella with a sick and misplaced obsession! Ekiti man, are you expecting Peter Obi to still be overseeing governance in Anambra state from when he left till today? Oh, i get it!.....You're expecting him to be a greedy, meddlesome godfather like what we see playing out in Lagos! You left your own Ekiti state that equally didn't feature on the list to be agonising over Anambra state! |
Magabush1:Saw this post of yours referring to Abia state, and decided to take a cursory look at your recent post history to try and get some idea of what makes you tick! Just as i feared, you have a bile and angst specially reserved for Alex Otti! Care to tell us why you seem to have him in mind on a regular basis? Are you from Abia state? If not, what's your own state? |
OT2024:That would have been ok only if said candidate also plays by the rules and isn't a master rigger who takes advantage of their control of the executive, judiciary and legislature to oppress, intimidate and infiltrate the opposition! The way things stand now, all bets are off! |
Kukutente23:And in 2027, he'd probably resort to that time-tested excuse all naughty schoolboys that didn't do their homework use......the dog ate it! |
Tenses:I saw it and many others shown on Don Azas' Youtube channel yesterday, and i didn't know whether to laugh or cry at what i was watching! Nigeria is gone....GONE i tell ya! ![]() |
Greattha:It's just a manifestation of the warped system we're saddled with, and you can see this type of dysfunction in all sectors and facets of national life! |
Sunnyski:Can't believe you still have the mind to laugh over a situation like this! What makes you think a state like Ebonyi, that to all intents and purposes has no gov't, is safe from these bloodthirsty sahelian invaders!? I could say a lot on this story but i believe EVERY Yoruba that has supported and still supports Buhari/Tinubu/APC and despises Mazi Kanu while 'justifying' the evil he has faced at the hands of the aforementioned....i believe ALL said Yoruba know within their heart-of-hearts that they've made the wrong call and have been on the wrong side of history, even though some of them would rather chop stone than come out and admit it openly! |
