I've been wanting to suggest this for some time now! There should be GoFundMe page or something similar where Obi/Kwakwanso supporters can go to and contribute to the campaign! We all know how expensive electioneering can be in Nigeria....especially if you aim to win and checkmate the ruthless, effective and efficient Tinubu/APC rigging machinery!

There's still a lot of naive and innocent Nigerians out there who are yet to realize the kind of criminality and desperation to remain in power that we're all up against! There's a reason why the bold and unprecedented kind of rigging the Tinubu gang engage in is described with adjectives such as brazen, impunity and in-your-face! The aim here is not necessarily to win the south-east, but rather, it's aimed at getting the much needed 25% by hook or crook!

Has anyone stopped to think of the huge amount of funds APC (national and states) is using to buy the crowds for all it's rallies and other pre-election campaigning ALL OVER THE COUNTRY? It could possibly top $3 billion by the time this election cycle is done with! Remember this is Nigeria, a country ravaged by the worst poverty and insecurity indices in the world! The controversy you talk about is a product of mischief by the busy bodies. Igbos are not dragging their territories with anyone. We certainly know our territories and we will always defend those. Igbo territories in the South-East and the South South are enough for the igbos. The South West is going into Kogi and Kwara to entice their socalled siblings there, and no one is raising hell from the South East. But once the igbos try the same script on the igbos intentionally balkanised across the South South states, all hell is let loose..
Whatever happens, the boundaries drawn by the military, or the ones about to be drawn by the APC won't hold.

The Federal government was the one who initiated the "divide and rule" policies to alienate the igbos of the South East from the Igbos of the South South. They are the ones who empowered the ijaws to start turning igbo communities in the peripheries into "ijaw towns". That was after conducting a genocide on the igbos. The historical owners of these communities are not in doubt, and will never be. The historical ancestors and inhabitants were never in doubt. Read independent encounters that preceeded the amalgamation of Nigeria.


Again, most of the agitation to have igbo communities in the South South to join the South East , were initiated by igbos of the South South. These were done openly and legally. Why some of you prefer to run with the warped narratives that suggest it was the South Easterners that introduced that agenda, beats me. The facts are in the open. Ned Nwoko is from Delta state. The Ohanaeze Chairman is feom Rivers State. The gentleman that led Ohanaeze during the national conference talks few weeks ago ,is from Rivers! Allow them to be heard too..

That said, anyone can initiate such wholesome moves. It is very much welcome! Igbo territories of the South South are part of igbo land before Nigeria came along, and would be so after Nigeria. If some parts of Nigeria do not like living with their brothers "togetherly", we do over here..
It is very irritating to note that the Southwest that has swallowed the Eguns, the Aworis and even the Ijaws of Ondo, who produce all their oil, are the ones pontificating on matters way above their pay grade in the east.

It's driven by the same evil, obsessed and insecure anti-Igbo forces responsible for mass murder and leading the federal war effort in late 60s, and who took hegemonic control of the country after the uncivil war....ndi-liberators dem! Taking control of the Nigerian political-economy wasn't enough for them....they also had to ensure the Igbo, who they consider as the 'hated competition' and major stumbling block to their total domination of Nigeria, are emasculated, with their economic, political and territorial interests sabotaged and limited at every and any turn and opportunity! It's this diabolical anti-Igbo agenda of theirs that saw the Ijaw being supported and empowered in the east and Niger-Delta to claim Igbo territory, steal as much hydrocarbon-rich Igbo territory as possible, and help them ensure Ndigbo are denied direct access to the sea! The fall-out of this is what we see with the Ijaw now being emboldened to go on to claim the territories of other ethnicities from as far as Akwa-Ibom, to Edo, to Delta, to Rivers, and finally to Ondo......basically claiming almost the entire Nigerian coast from west to east!

The joke is on the non-Igbo in the areas formerly known as Mid-Western and Eastern Regions who either were complicit in this anti-Igbo agenda or were comfortable with it thinking their own interests were safe! The joke is on them as well as on daft and naive 'one Nigerianist' Igbo who feel safe sharing the same country with very xenophobic, wicked, jealous and greedy groups!

Where is the Oguta/Orashi River dredging project? FG, Imo govt and Navy sealed deal TO open South east to Atlantic. Today abandoned and forgotten!

In May 2023, Nigerians watched with excitement as the Federal Government, Imo State Government and the Nigerian Navy signed a historic agreement to dredge the Oguta/Orashi River from Oguta Lake to Degema and out to the Atlantic Ocean.

On May 11, 2023, Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo himself was in Oguta to flag off the Hydrographic Survey and Dredging of the proposed sea route. He was joined by the Chief of Defence Staff, Chief of Naval Staff, Ministers of Transportation and Trade & Investment. The promise was big.

Governor Hope Uzodimma said it will open up the South East economic corridor, create a Free Trade Zone, boost oil and gas, and tackle insecurity. President Buhari had even approved Oguta/Ohaji/Egbema as an Oil and Gas Free Trade Zone because of it.

Today, where is the project? Where is the deal?

It is 2026, 3 years after that flamboyant flag-off. No dredging. No ships. No seaport. Just silence. The project has been abandoned and forgotten, like many promises made to Ndi Igbo.

And this is what many of you don't know:.

That same Oguta/Orashi route was an international economic hub. Big white ships berthed in Oguta, carrying palm oil, palm kernel and other produce from Igboland to Europe. The warehouses and offices built by the Royal Niger Company in Oguta in the 1800s are still standing today as proof.

So when we shout that the South East needs access to the sea, and you open your mouth to say "Igboland is landlocked, you have no access to sea", who landlocked us?

If we were landlocked, how did big ships come to berth in Oguta before independence? How did our palm oil feed the world through that waterway?

Why was there an agreement to revamp it in 2023 if there was no sea route before? Why did Osinbajo come to flag it off?

They know the route is viable. They know it will change the economy of Imo, Anambra, and the whole South East. That is why they are keeping it abandoned.

The hydrographic survey was completed by the Nigerian Navy in September 2023 and submitted. Since then NOTHING. No funding. No dredging. No update. But they can award new projects in Ogun and Lagos every week.

South East must wake up. This is not just about Imo State. This is about economic freedom for over 60 million people.

We demand answers: WHAT HAPPENED TO THE OGUTA/ORASHI RIVER DREDGING DEAL?

I remember watching the so called launch of the Orashi port with a high dose of cynicism knowing Ndigbo/south-east can NEVER be treated fairly and benefit from any worthwhile multi-million or billion dollar economic enabler from a Buhari or Tinubu led APC gov't....whether it's one funded or one supported/promoted by the federal gov't like we see them quick to do for their south-west and north-west regions!

Look how they abandoned the int'l terminal building at AIIA, Enugu, started by the GEJ gov't at the same time as the ones for Lagos, Abuja, Kano and Port Harcourt airports that have all long since been completed by the APC gov't. They have now washed their hands off the one for Enugu airport, telling the naive Enugu state gov't they had better go find private sector concessionaires to complete it if they want to see that terminal building completed!.....This is what 'one Nigeria', 'equity' and 'fairness' means to them!

They pulled yet another fast one on us with the wuruwuru Onitsha river port scam! No one is talking of that one anymore!

Being a committed student of the emilokan school of thought, it comes as no surprise that your understanding of what constitutes good governance is misaligned! A state or country starting from scratch, as it were, should have a different approach to governance and development when compared to a state or country that has gained traction and gone far in governance and development! We've seen how some gov'ts, that are yet to get the basics right, embark on grandiose 'legacy projects' of flyovers, airports and multi-billion dollar coastal roads!

Another thing to look out for is that in next years presidential election, expect truckloads of criminally acquired PVCs (dummies, stolen and bought) to be deployed on the day! Just watch.....you will hear lots of instances of BVAS malfunctioning on election day, and that accreditation would have to be done manually so the holders of those PVCs can be 'accredited'!

And who told you the Obi administration didn't execute projects and initiatives during its tenure! As a individual, don't you have savings and investments distinct from your daily/monthly upkeep outgoings? Had the governors after him properly managed the states savings and investments they met, Anambra would have been better for it today!
