Stop generalizing bro
The effect of Catholic dominance was only in Anambra, orlu part of IMO and some parts of Enugu
But mostly Anambra!
You will hardly see a Catholic man from Abia, also igbo speaking part of rivers, owerri zone of imo state, ebonyi (especially afikpo axis) are largely Anglican, Methodist, Presbyterian and protestant,
Ngwa people on there own are largely Adventist from okezie, to Alex otti e.t.c and that's why Clifford university exist in that axis, the also have numerous of secondary schools and motherless babies home within ngwaland, the remaining part of Abia, rivers, imo e.t.c are not Catholics
Catholics is only predominantly in Anambra, orlu imo axis and you can feel there impact there.

Except orji uzor kalu
Who grew up in northern Nigeria
I have never seen anyone or any Popular figure from Abia or my side in IMO that's a Catholic

I think he was partly referring to the invaluable help the Catholic Church rendered in Alaigbo during and in the immediate aftermath of the civil war.

That being said, there's truth in your own assertion about the presence and historical influence of the Anglican, Methodist and Adventist Churches in present day Abia, Rivers and parts of Imo states. My maternal side from Azumini are Anglicans and the Anglican Church has more of a presence and influence in those parts than the Catholic Church has.

In bold. Those are criminals who dug in in Orsu after Imo gov's men sparked off attacks on govt establishments in Orlu. Uzodinma believes the former Imo gov from Orlu local council area did not develop Uzodinma's Omima hometown in Orueast local council area; therefore Uzodinma has been ravaging and revenging against Orlu since he came to office as senator and governor. There is no IPOB thing there.

I swear i can't stand that thug! Anytime i see him on tv i quickly dive for the remote to zap the channel....or fastforward it if it's a recording! That bastard is the 'legacy' Buhari, in his hate, left for Ndigbo in general and Imo in particular!

Igbo billionaire

This post, containing just two words, sums up the zeal and effort shown by the Tinubu/Buhari EFCC in going after Ibeto....and can explain the creation of this thread and the all the smug, sanctimonious and holier-than-thou comments contained therein from the usual suspects! Of course they will deny it, but this is all part of the bigger picture of holding Igbos' down and using the instrumentality of the evil Nigerian state to ensure the Igbo elite (entrepreneurs, politicians, etc) and Alaigbo are held down at a certain level......under a glass ceiling, and prevented from threatening the political and economic 'dominance' of the Fulani/Yoruba hegemonic alliance and their hijack of the Nigerian state!

I don't know the facts of the case...neither do i care to know the facts of any case carried out by any compromised and ethnicised Nigerian agency or arm of gov't.....aimed at witchunting a individual because he's from a certain part of the country and not from those 'chosen' parts where their political and entrepreneurial class literally get away with murder! But suffice it to say that even if Ibeto lives till a thousand years, he can never approach the level of criminality and engage in the abuse of gov't access and priviledge that the likes of Tinubu and Dangote have engaged in from 1999 to date!

All you naive and daft 'one Nigeria' Igbo can't see what's happening and would think nothing of the useless EFCC going after Ibeto! You'd even join the frenzied and crazed cry of the very mob that despises you to call for Ibetos' head on a platter, while said mob go behind the scenes to elevate their own gov't enabled politicians and entreprenuers to the level of Potentates, Presidents and Forbes richest in Africa!

herdsmen from Kogi and Benue, you well so?

btw, where is ESN?

Had the Primate of the Methodist Church of Nigeria been murdered during his own ordeal, bigots like you wouldn’t hesitate to point the finger at IPOB/ESN! You want YouTube clips reporting attacks on highways in the south-east by criminal northern elements!?

You asking for the same ESN your evil gov’t have tagged ‘terrorists’ and then gone on to commit false-flag operations against just so they can pin the blame on the secessionist organisation, hence ‘justifying’ the state-sanctioned murderous operation against the group!? Is that the ESN you’re asking for!?

Herdsmen pure form of attack. Spray bullets, May God be with us and may he not make us a victim

Not necessarily herdsmen, but i can say with a degree of certainty that they’re northern elements!

Hope you all can see how the useless and compromised Nigerian army are busy putting on staged ’attacks on IPOB/ESN hideouts in Orlu’, while the real and proven stinking criminal vermin are having a field-day in Enugu….hiding in the forests/bushes for cover, and coming out on to the highway to kidnap and murder innocent travellers!? When i say i’ve given up on this cursed country, this is just one reason out of many why i hold such a view!

These attacks by northern elements in Alaigbo/south-east were unheard of until the coming of the Buhari/Tinubu alliance in 2015!

Given what we know of Nigeria and its political, economic and leadership challenges from the late 60s to date, NO ETHNICITY is in the position to point the finger and have a misplaced sense of superiority by blaming others! More so, those who have largely superintended over the political-economy and leadership of the country for the period in question!

But I thought ibos said they weren't feeling the pain and were even drinking beers to mock others.

Will you STFU! You APC/Tinubu minions are really intolerable! Seems the fact no mass acts of criminality, desperation and wails of hunger were seen or heard in the south-east over the past few weeks while the reverse was the case in the south-west and north (the two main regions responsible for enthroning the criminal disaster that is godfather Tinubu and his Lagos mafioso acolytes)....seems this has infuriated you to no end!

Even during the time of the initial disaster, Buhari, that you lot were equally responsible for bringing to power out of sheer greed, hate and lust for power, there were always isolated incidents of depressed and mentally unstable individuals FROM ALL ETHNICITIES AND REGIONS who reached their tethers end and then went on to do something desperate! But when you are confronted with the consequences of your ethnically inspired political choices and actions, you should eat the humble pie with remorse and not try to act like you did nothing wrong! Ndigbo and others, who said from the get-go that Tinubu was not an option, are entitled to their 'i told you so' moment, so just give up with your poor and weakass attempts at deflecting the blame you so richly deserve!
