Angel Di Maria has claimed that a "money problem" stopped him joining Paris Saint-Germain over the summer, and he said that he could still join the Ligue 1 side in the future.

The Argentinian eventually joined Manchester United for a club-record £59.7m from Real Madrid in August, and has excelled in his Old Trafford career so far.

After his transfer to United, PSG chief-executive Nasser Al-Khelaifi said that he had wanted to move to Paris but the price was "too expensive". And the Qatari denied the deal fell through because of Financial Fair Play.

"PSG, I think they had a money problem and they couldn't buy players," the Argentine said in an interview with Telefoot. "This is the main reason I didn't go there. Playing in the French league would please a lot of players.

"Now I'm in the English league. But you never know, there is a lot of movement in football. You can never predict where you're going to play.


"There were a lot of clubs interested in me. A lot, really. But Manchester United appeared and didn't go away. They absolutely wanted me and it happened.

"It could have been a good experience for me to go to Paris," he added. "I know I'm still young, perhaps I'll go to PSG one day. I don't know how it will all end."

The 26-year-old Di Maria, however, did add that he is "very happy" at United and does not regret leaving Real.

"It's a different style of football here at Manchester United," he said. "I'm very happy. I don't have regrets about leaving Real Madrid. I think I won everything I wanted with Real: La Liga, the Champions League and the Copa Del Rey."

@igbsam, what is realy annoying was that i assume i will be getting part of the minis i ask him to get for me which i had already lost the contract, when he said i have 4 mini pick up ,i told my younger brother whose boss needed 2 mini, and they had paid me on thursday, only for him to send me this ones that have charger or battery issue, (yes they are my items purchase by me from ebay) you know how difficult it is to now go back to tell them another story, that the mini did not arrive after i had collected money from them.

UPDATE!!!!

So sorry for the late update, we have been on the phone allday trying to work out a solution.

Basically this is what is going on:-

They arrived in Lagos around 3pm this afternoon and head straight to the hospital in VI. On getting there it turns out that this hospital only do dialysis so we have to get his test first and undergo the first session of dialysis before they step in so they referred us to another hospital in Gbagada.

Getting to Gbagada, unfortunately they dont have a bed space so they cant admit him and they turn around and refer us to Island Hospital. Getting to Island hospital - same story no bed space and cant admit.

Unfortunately, no test has been done previously as both LUTH and the Eruwa was just wasting everyone's time.

We then went to St Nicholas same story.

At this point patient is already tired and has to go back home and continue the whole process tomorrow morning.

We have done more research and made some calls so we have one that is willing to take him tomorrow morning, do the tests and we take it from there.
