Santa2: Missed appointment would be attended to. Was at the HC yesterday and someone whose appointment date was in July tried his luck and came for biometric capture. He queued up and was allowed in. Alright. Thank you very much. Atleast the reason for their missed appointment is legit which is the sudden holiday |

LagosismyHome: The website doesn't allow to reschedule. If its a public holiday then no need to enter bus
However it was listed here that missed appointment people can walk in. I haven't tried it but I too have a missed appointment Our fear is, if missed appointment (due to the public holiday) would be attended to. That's the assurance we are looking for, so that i can inform them to reschedule their trip for tuesday walk-in. |

Good evening guys. Please a quick one. A friend's wife was given a biometric appointment for tomorrow 21st. He just called me now to ask what they can do as they just discovered that the high comission will not be opened tomorrow being public holiday. This wasn't known to them not until they got the information from someone else.
What happens to the appointment they were given. They tried to go on the NHC website to reschedule the appointment to another date, but they keep getting a response that they cannot reschedule an appointment at that location (London). They are contemplating either to go there on tuesday and scared if they would be attended to.
Kindly please advice. Its urgent as the wife is going to london on a bus tonight. |

For those not understanding what ISA and LISA means as i was in a group and most people are a bit confused what this is about. Just want to simplify it here. Elders in the house can also input further explanation.
ISA and LISA are two types of savings accounts that allow individuals in the UK to save money with tax benefits. Here's a simple explanation of how they work:
ISA (Individual Savings Account): An ISA is a savings account that allows individuals to save money without paying any income tax or capital gains tax on the interest earned. There are different types of ISAs, including cash ISAs and stocks and shares ISAs, and individuals can save up to a certain limit each year.
LISA (Lifetime ISA): A LISA is a type of ISA that allows individuals aged 18-39 to save up to £4,000 per year and receive a government bonus of 25% on their savings, up to a maximum of £1,000 per year. The money saved in a LISA can be used to purchase a first home worth up to £450,000 or can be withdrawn tax-free after age 60 for retirement.
Both ISAs and LISAs are a great way to save money and earn tax-free returns, but it's important to understand the terms and conditions before opening one. |

Preshyi: Hello guys, I apologise this is a long post but I need your contributions please. My brother is registered with indeedflex and he was given a shift at Sainsbury's. When he was about to leave after the shift they were told they all need to be searched cos someone stole from one of the sections. However, they didnt see anything on him. Some days after his shift he did not receive payment and he first contacted the shift leader in Sainsbury's who said he will not be paid cos he was caught stealing. He probed further to understand where the accusation was coming from but they stopped responding. He then contacted indeedflex and they repeated same thing. He told them that it was a blatant lie and needs evidence of that. He sent several messages to talk about how the accusation has traumatized him and affected him financially. After some days they finally paid him and according to indeedflex it was cos he returned the stolen item when confronted. He insisted it was all false and he needs them to investigate and show him CCTV evidence or something. They said they cannot release the evidence cos of GDPR, that they will not push it any further but will keep an eye on his account. He has not gotten shifts in Sainsbury's ever since. We need advice on how we can get to the root of this please, it is a serious and false accusation that has the tendency of tarnishing his image. There were other black agency workers that worked there on that day and this could be a case of mistaken identity. Do we need to talk to a lawyer? If this is true. Na God wan run money give una so o! See free money o |

We paid online and when we were about to book in to go for the appointment, we noticed there's no available date until may. This is urgent as we will need to renew it asap. Is there any provision for urgent renewal date at the passport office in london or we can just walk-in. Thanks |
