Career / Freight Forwarding by igelomo(m): 2:15pm On Jun 15, 2011

I would like to express my interest to work with any organization as
a freight forwarder trainee. I felt that my qualifications may not
meet their exact requirement but my zeal, ability to learn and
enthusiasm should do.

I would also like to state that my priority is not in my take home but my
enthusiasm and desire to learn.

I have completed my graduation from one of the renowned colleges quite
recently and am very much willing to make the best use of the skills
developed during my college days.

I have also undergone some training in travel basics and am pursuing
my IATA/FIATA Cargo exams in December.

I think I have got the following strengths which can be of real use to
your organization –
1) Disciplined
2) A self-starter.
3) An excellent conversationalist.
4) Fast adaptability.
5) Brilliant in customer service.

I believe that you will definitely find me to be very friendly and
accessible. My skills in dealing with people from all walks of life
should bring a wealth of assistance to your firm.

In addition, I have Customer Service (General Skills), Dealing with
Others, Flexibility, Oral & Written communication.

Thank you for your consideration. I look forward to hearing from anyone
to arrange an interview.
Sincerely,

Ewuoso Adeyombo

I REFUSE agree with all previous posters, i don't think because so may graduates are jobless (myself inclusive) gives anybody the right to transfer their aggression on the poster, all you have to do is to give ur candid opinion and leave the thread. Some even went to the extent of raining abuses on the OP. I don't think that is fair.

A Bsc in essence is meant to prepare one for challenges ahead not determine where it would get one.Just take it that you are not yet fully prepared and start working hard at things you are very comfortable doing. If you love parties n gigs, get into it big time.its BIG BUSINESS now.do you know what you have that 1st class n 2.1's dont, experience!!!yeah, but you have to shape that experience into something meaningful.

Think less of the certificate, move ahead. The world is evolving, evolve with it.The only one that can stop one from getting to one's pinnacle is ONE!
CLICK,CLICK,MOVE!!!

Best advise

I WOULD LOVE TO BE A CERTIFIED CARGO AGENT. IS THIS THIS SAME AS A FREIGHT FORWARDER? PLS IF ANY BODY HAS GOT A JOB FOR ME IN THIS INDUSTRY, I AM MUCH AVAILABLE. I WILL BE WRITING MY IATA/FIATA CARGO EXAMS IN DECEMBER.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Had Third Class In Education by igelomo(m): 4:50pm On Jun 08, 2011
u don't have to, u can always get to where ever you want to get but it might only;yy require of you an extra effort. But i nid you to answer these questions:

1. Was the 3rd class as a result of poor study habit while on campus?
2.Or you were not serious on campus.

If the answer is in affirmative, that means your future is bright cuz u can still prove urself when the situation arises.

Lastly, just try to improve urself generally and probably get a certification or a post graduate diploma to improve ur cv.
ALL THE BEST.

Business / Re: Goat Farming by igelomo(m): 5:45pm On Mar 31, 2011
Its been a while i posted this comment, do u guys believe i just intend
aasog1:

@igelomo

smart move, i am personally saving tons of capital and hope with time i could join you very soon. i need this as secondary income generating biz.
i have a friend who is down at ilaro, ogun state, he has his own goat farm, and some herds of cows and he recently boast of making a net profit of 2.5 mil every month.
he started with just 50 goats, and he almost regretted it and would complain bitterly daily, but today he's acquired about 11 acres of land and has over 500 goats.
the goats and cows are cheaper to rear because they consume mostly soy and beans waste which you get cheaply at ketu per ton and they also consume grasses which is as good as free, but you need a good link in either chad or the north where you can consecutively pack them at immature age. that way, its dirt cheap. you only spend on transporting them down to where you have your farm in either ikorodu or ifo, etc.
and a fully matured wild goat goes as atleast for #10,000 at the market, maturity of wild goats take 3 months, and feeds is extremely cheap.
cows take about 8 months depending on provision of soy waste and fresh grass. a small calf goes for around #40k to #50k and sells for atleast #120,000 at maturity, the older the cows get, the more expensive it becomes. we recently purchased an 11 month old cow for #320,000 from my same friend for a burial.
but note; location and security is the key, and knowing all the local abattoirs will help a lot,

its a great biz, but its front loaded, you need plenty capital, and lots of patience, and ofcourse, experience,
i advice you to find a young mallam you trust who has done the job, partner with him on some tiny percentage; give him accommodation on the farm and watch yourself becomes the next multimillionaire in no time. i have a blueprint for this business, im still battling with the poultry biz im running with my construction profession, next stop is the husbandry biz.
to start out now/ the reason was because i needed to understand the terrain very well but off i goo
