The current acting DG, SSS is the most senior officer in the SSS. Infact, he is higher than Lawal Daura in the service hierarchy. Lawal was brought back to the service by Buhari after he had retired for his criminal dealings in the SSS in the last government and for flunking his exams-twice. It had nothing to do with religion or region. If not for Buhari, Daura would have been duly retired. His actions while holding that post is a confirmation of what happens when a sick head appoints a sick subordinate. |
Wasn't this clown supposed to have learnt a lesson after his withdrawn accusations against the Supreme Court and Wike? |
Isn't that Falz song a satire and that "everybody be criminal" line a reference to how most Nigerians are treated as convicts even when they are just suspects? |
The Registrar of WAEC made a report to the house of reps about how his result he submitted had been altered and thus invalid. If you were hired to spread this misinformation and make it stick, you better find a way to refund the advance if you have spent it. |
Lalasticlala and Seun, this deserves to be on the front page. Let those on NL see and understand the personality behind the sick filth levying bans/penalties on media houses. |
I love seeing the April 11th, April 26th, May 9th, May 11th, June 19th bots in action. Hahahahaha. |
While the investigation remains within their purview, it is comical to note that while most of the alleged inconsistencies on the security vote financials occured in January 2018, when they were in the APC, the EFCC decided to ANNOUNCE their probe the very week they decamped into an opposition party. This incident and others that have occurred, especially within these two weeks, provide probable cause that authorities like the EFCC and the police are being used as political instruments. This is a country where the head of a body like the EFCC can be seen on national media wearing campaign clothings of a political party. If you are a suspected thief in the APC, you are their thief. A suspected thief in the opposition? - ah, thief, ole, carry am goo...hahahaha. * Babachir side-eye* |
proffemi:Positive comparison of feral animals with obnoxious humans is a little bit mischievous, sir. |
proffemi:I think your tack will be inefficient. Tribalism, especially on the internet, suffers herd mentality. But unfortunately, divide and conquer won't work here because there will be cries of victimization and how their reaction is retaliatory. You will be accused, and for valid reason, how you should talk to both sides and not put up a thread like this with the former title. |
proffemi:Maybe you should visit the thread then. 75likes, 166likes, 356likes...these were the likes on comments that made direct allusion to igbos on the first page alone. There was no igbo-themed troll on the first page I checked. If you are aware that ethnicity themed threads beget possible tribalistic comments, then it will be deceptive of you, and probably illogical (I mean no disrespect), to muse that such fervour will not generate hate and anger on mainstream threads. |
proffemi:Of course not all members of the other tribe will stay away. Some will stay to defend their "honour", derail the thread by whataboutism and whatever. Using likes is at best a disparate measure that will not capture the continuous effect when you no longer check the pages. Likes are made on past posts without it reflecting as an updated thread. |
proffemi:You are a scholar (yes, I read a bit of your post history), so when I made a statement on the metric of using likes, I also considered the possibility of multiple monikers exploiting it. A very good example of such threads I will present is one that has spanned over 300 pages, solely created for Yoruba excellence. https://www.nairaland.com/3918290/yorubas-most-industriousrichest-educated-tribe If you visit that thread, you will notice the OP together with others, derailed his thread on the very first page degrading Biafra, calling it "biafraüd", calling Igbo man "potor man", calling their stores "2 X 2" , flat heads, erosion ravaged etc. All these on a thread for Yoruba excellence where no person with Igbo ideals had posted. Was that a case of unprovoked self conflict? Retaliation? There are many threads like I will exhuma when I'm less busy. |
proffemi, you provide convincing arguments but are you aware that using "likes" as a form of data collection, is a little too simplistic? The history of tribalism on this website and the dialectics show that it is fuelled by retaliation. Trying to simplify it as being overly promoted by a certain group as you have here, opens you to scrutiny; 1. Could it be that the Igbos and/or their sympathisers are the majority on these threads, thus the more "likes"? 2. Could it be that the "likes" could be majorly linked to obnoxious trolls who either seek delight in this social problem or profit some way? 3. Are there not threads where tribalism that favours the yorubas gather more "likes"? 4. Could the proliferation of "likes" on a themed thread be as a result of those at the receiving end staying away? For example, if there is a thread about, say rituals in the south West, or drug dealing in the south east, won't the group affected likely stay away and the likes would be to the benefit of the others? This trend is the dialectics of the seemingly oppressed. |
obailala:You don't understand what is going on here, do you? The OP or whoever commissioned that chart, designed those graphs, with the OPEC logo, and passed it as a primary document from OPEC. That is false representation, and it casts a doubt on the data on those charts. I searched all over the internet for similar summary on the report which was released last month, nothing else shows except the blog the OP posted. Have you examined the report you linked? If not, then it means you agree with it because it confirms your bias. That is illogical. |
obailala:I downloaded the data from the link you posted but I didn't see the charts posted by the OP there. Can you tell what page they appear? |
I would have spit on their graves if not for the fact that some of them were just pawns who saw the military as a way out of unemployment. Fela would say "you die for nothing". |
I hope you have been satisfied by the self admittance of the DIG that tear gas was fired to disperse protesters at the government house. Some of you are deprived filths who will do anything for infamy or money. You are no where near the location but you lie with so much stupidity. Continue. |
Fayose is not on the ballot, then why is his security withdrawn since he is still the Governor of the state? Fayemi currently does not hold a government position, is his police detail funded by the government? If so, why is that? Does any one have a source/citation to Oshiomole's security being withdrawn during the Edo governor's election of last year even though he wasn't on the ballot box? |
You have to cite the sources/references at critical pivots of your article for criticism, otherwise, it apears as rants. Look at how it is done on Wikipedia. It gives your written thought credibility. |
This should be compulsory reading NL101. |
samuelchimmy:The probability that the quarter finals will be contested only by countries with six letters on each side against seven letters, on the date of 6&7, makes it an amusing inferential point to note. |
OH SHIIT!!! Everybody runnnnnnnn....it's the illuminati...they are trying to mess with our minds...what did we do to deserve this.. |
Believe all these Twitter nonsense at your peril. |
OP is a troll. |
