History has shown  that Neocons would do the same thing if faced with realities. No idealogical thinking in rescuing the economy. Bush started with the first Stimulus, then followed by bailout  bonanza, then followed by injection of funds into GM and Chrysler.  It was Bush edministration that first bailed out AIG even breaking a statued legislation for over 100 yrs that FEDs should be renders to banks not insurance. Bush took Fanie and Fredie into federal receivership.
All of these actions, there is no indication whatsoever to show that a party that embarked on these measures would lecture us about fiscal responsibility. Its really one of the reasons why  I detest democrats, cos they bicker and dont know how to play politics. They sometimes seem like advanced Naija politicians. The Governorship post and probably a ministorial role after his tenure as a Governor would be the highest position Soludo would ever be able to attain in Nigeria today not with his terrible stewardship as a CBN Governor. The exposure of incompetence and gross disregard to core Banking rules and regulation as a CBN Governor is a damage too unredeemable that any thought of such an individual thinking of running for the Presidency would be viewed and looked upon as a clownish and jocular proposition.

The only saving grace for Soludo, is for him to really punch above his weights as a serving State Governor, that is to surpass the acheivements of fashola's not by 2 folds but by a 100 folds in fact nothing short of turning Anambra State into an eldorado would be acceptable.

Already Anambra State has the largest open Market in West Africa - Onitsha Market, how to turn that market into a money spinner that would translate to economic growth for all sectors of the state is one of the many puzzles that Soludo would have to contend with. If he can manoeuvrer successful his stewardship as a state executive then he can argue with some conviction that go and see what we did at Anambra state. This is his last litmus test.
