Firstly, if u or a stranger cannot read at least the stranger can hear abi....so its ders no were to read, y not listen to d reading. Most lectors put life into d reading. After d hearing the reading, if u wanna do reading for urself, u can always check d readings from someone's bulletin close by, more over of u come early to church, u can always spy the reading from someone with a bulletin close to u.........

The purpose of producing bulletin has been defeated, 'cos they're now producing mini booklets, which most people cannot afford to get the basic info during mass...

If u r in a parish were they r selling #200 go to another parish were its #100. I use my fone in church for readings and hymns.....not only me others do. Who ban fones n church, d pope, d archbishop or ur parish priest??

Firstly there are apps tht carry d yearly readings, u can get tht n download it... Pple n church have it, I collect mine from a lady who was sitting close to me in mass.

There is also d book tht has all d readings for the year, even a calendar....

So tell me, what miracle do you want the churches to perform to make the universities "free"?
Do you expect lecturers to teach and not demand salary? Do you expect cleaners to clean and not demand salary? Do you expect the university to order infrastructure and not pay for it? Do you expect them to receive their 24/7 electricity for free?

Please tell me, what plan do you have that can make a full fledged university free? Tell us this your brilliant idea that no one on earth has ever thought of before.

A time will come when these universities will provide scholarships... Intelligent folks run the church of today in the face of reckless politicians who would rather make shoe shinners out of the youths

I may need to school you again on what a profit making university is. Harvard with $25 billion endowment and 15 million naira/annum tuition is not a profit making university. Neither is Stanford nor Yale. That a university is collecting 10 million naira a year doesn't make it profit making. When we say a university is non profit. It simply means that the founders have elected to reinvest all revenue into the system.
The only faith based university in Nigeria that i am aware of being a profit making university is Alhikmah university which is Islamic.


Which yeye loophole. That is why you have a government you voted for. Even the Isrealites who had a thin line between Religion/State didn't expect nonsense from the synagogue. The church can't veer into full blown political governance and leave matters of spirituality relegate to the background. The essense of the church is to feed the spirit and soul not the belly. What are you saying lol. The Adventist church has over 100 universities splashed across USA and Europe. There is no organisation in the world that owns half as much universities as the catholics. According to Professor Okebukola the catholic church has about 3,000 universities splattered across the globe. The Church of Christ owns/affilited to hundreds of universities in North America. The baptist church owns about 70 universities in the US. Combine all the government universities in the US they don't have 1/10th of universities belonging to churches. And amazingly govt partly funds the church universities there too and they are still not free.

If providing jobs is the government responsibility solely so the church can't provide jobs, den educating its citizens is still govt responsibility. Y is d church choosing which govt responsibility it wants to take up if not greed

The JEWISH LAW might allow betrothed couples to have sex till they get married, but we Christians are not under such laws as explained by the above verse. We are not under Judaism. We are under the law of Christ. We are Christians. Imagine how useless ladies will become if they were still under the LAW. Once a man is tired of having sex with his betrothed lady, he will just dump her and move to get betrothed to another one. That means ladies will now be passed around pretty much like what we see today. But Jesus has freed us from such archaic ways by telling us to flee from sexual immorality. The Church doesn't practice betrothal. Neither has it ever preached sex between engaged couples. It only preaches sex in marriage and that those who are not married should flee sexual immorality which is clearly premarital sex, while married couples should flee from adultery.

Hebrew 13:14

4 Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.

Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. Notice how the below verse advises marriage before one can have sex if he or she cannot exercise control.
