That project is a loan and Nigerian government was a to pay a certain percentage. It was agreed in 2007 by the Obasanjo administration.

Amaechi started a project (a debatable project but that's talk for another thread) & history will show the amount of work done & payments made.

even if the project is completed 40 years later, Amaechi will still be recognised as an important contributor.


in the long run, its not about giving full credit to anyone, its more about appreciating contributions & not just rubbishing efforts...

the argument on which administration started/did much work on a project comes up because pmb & his gang of propagandists always say the previous administration did nothing & yet they are commissioning projects that were at advanced stages built by the previous government.


most of these projects required little or no input from pmb's administration because they either were paid for at the level of completion at the time, were PPP in which the FG had already paid its required portion or they had funding from 1st line charges (or bank guarantees or international funding) which meant the projects were going to be completed regardless of which government in power.



how would pmb's supporters feel when after initiating some massive projects & seeing them develop to a reasonable extent, he leaves power & another government comes in & says pmb did nothing, but a few years later, starts commissioning his projects?

You really need to understand these projects. As a third world country, the rate at which we are getting these infrastructural loans are crazy.
We can achieve all these infrastructural goals within our budgets if we have sane people in power.

Over the weekend, Honourable minister for Transport Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi said if Buhari is not returned come 2019 Nigeria will be 10years backwards.

I did the calculation by count down 10 years from 2019 and got answer of 2009, Then, I quickly checked my diary and discovered that..

10 years ago was 2009.
At that time, fuel was #65 per litre.
Rice was sold at #7,500 per bag.
Naira was 150 to $1.
A bag of cement was #900.
Food stuff was so cheap in open market.
We were still using #5 to shop
A cup of garri was =N=…

After considering all these I found out that is very very profitable for
Buhari not to come back 2019 so we could go 10yrs backwards. Its better than now by far.
