Governor of Imo state had a bet with the President of Nigeria to see who will be the first to scatter Nigeria.
The Governor has sworn that he must win the bet with confidence that Imo state is not vast compared to Nigeria at large. He also boast that Imolites are now witnessing the level of destruction, poverty and strict starvation going on in the state both in civil service.

While the President on his own has sworn to frustrate the economy of the country in all ramifications as a strong strategy to win the bet. The president abused the Governor to be a toothless bull dog, that the masses are already testifying to his evil handwork. If he (Governor of Imo state) thinks it's a joke, let him visit Ekiti, Osun, Benue and other affected states, for a case study.

All Nigerians are advised to be vigilant in order to protect the bet to avoid rigging, as to know who will emerge the winner..

Stamped was yesterday averted at the Ondo AD Governorship candidate Olusola Oke Rally at Igbokoda in Ilaje Local Govt of Ondo State because of the mammoth crowd that witnessed the Rally.

Hmmmmm.. We smell a TRUE change!

Come to think of it, Tinubu has been the sole problem of Nigeria as a nation. He brought PMB (famine itself) into this country's present mess, by so doing he (Tinubu) should be licking his own wounds. At the other hand, APC as a frustrated and useless party should also be taught a GREAT lesson in Ondo state, despite we know that they will always want to rig the election just as their culture has been in previous electoral matters.. Despite the reliance of the All Progressives Congress(APC) on federal might to win the Saturday Governorship poll in Ondo State, the Olusola Oke Campaign organization has reaffirmed its confidence in the will of the people to thwart the evil intention.
The Campaign organization asserted that the outcome of the governorship election will convey an unequivocal messages that the democratic and sovereign powers belong to the people and that the powers of the people are mightier than those in power.
In a statement in Akure by its Director general, Mr Bola Ilori, on Sunday, the campaign outfit of the AD candidate, Chief Olusola, said the ego of the APC will be deflated by the people of Ondo State in the election, saying relying on federal might is like living in a fool’s paradise with the level of democratic awareness and sophistication of Ondo electorate.
Ilori reminded that the calamity that befell the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in the last general elections is still fresh in the country’s political history, where it relies solely on federal might, rather than the people’s powers, pointing out that this will be the lots of APC in this election.
Ilori added that the AD has become a darling party that is ringing bell in the hearts of the Ondo residents.
“APC is gradually toeing a ruinous path by its boast that it will use the federal might to intimidate and overrun the collective will of Ondo people. The same story we heard from the PDP during the countdown to the 2015 general elections. Today, the PDP that controlled over 25 states at a time now has 12 states under its control, with Ondo State gradually slipping off its hands.
“APC candidate, Mr. Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, is a product of deceit, manipulations and electoral malfeasance and he has been wholesomely rejected by the people. No branding or advertorial can sell a bad product.
“The evil plot that manifested during the APC primary in Ondo State had shown lucidly that both the makers and the product are laced with indelible taint and the APC Candidate will be consigned to electoral trash -bin on Saturday by Ondo electorate.
“In case they don’t know, the Southwest people, from time immemorial had the history of flexing muscles with the federal might and they had always won. The Action Group triumphed over the forces of National Congress Party(NCP) during the first Republic. The Unity Party of Nigeria(UPN) did same to National Party of Nigeria(NPN) in 1979. The AD trounced the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 1999 and Action Congress of Nigeria(ACN) overran the PDP before the consummation of APC, which is now becoming a contraption.
“In terms of political trajectory and configuration, federal might has no place in southwest politics and this election will never be an exemption. The fact that APC had resolved to capture the people of Ondo like animals had increased their electoral venoms and these they shall unleash against APC on Saturday.
Ilori implored the real change yearning people of Ondo State to remain resolute by casting their votes for the candidate of the Alliance for Democracy(AD) and be vigilant to stave off any act of malpractice.
“Our people have resolved to stand by Olusola Oke of the AD and there is no way APC can make inroad even if the Kaduna State Governor, Mr. Nasir el-Rufai is appointed the INEC Chairman, the Minister of Solid Minerals, Dr Kayode Fayemi is made the Inspector General of Police and the Minister of Works, Babatunde Raji Fashola is hurriedly made the Director General of the Department of State Services(DSS)”.
Hon Ilori, therefore charged the teeming electorates across the 203 wards of the 18 local government areas of the state to troop out on saturday and wisely perform the civic responsibility towards the socio-economic redemption and restoration of Ondo State.

Governor Rochas Okorocha's on going bridge construction at Assumpta Avenue along portharcourt road collapsed last night. And in order to hide it from the public, they have blocked the bridge with two long Containers so that the public will not see the collapsed bridge while frantic efforts are currently being made to see if they will remedy the situation. Already, they have stationed Stern looking policemen at the site to bar journalists from nearing the site.
This is to remind the general public to be mindful of those substandard projects..

Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere, has been hailed after brokering peace between two conflicting groups on Friday evening. The deputy governor who was passing by in his convoy, encountered a bitter exchange between the tanker drivers and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps.

The tanker driver who identified himself as 'Nnamdi' from Delta State, allegedly sprinkled a sachet water on a top agent of the government of Imo State and the security details of the official flagged them down to stop but they refused.

On realizing that the security details were men of Nigeria Security and Defense Corps and given their age long enmity, the tanker driver and his men refused to come down and in the process, a scuffle ensued. Rather than obey the security agents, they blocked Part of Orlu Road, the area between the Red Cross Orphanage and the High Court causing a traffic gridlock.

Prince Madumere on getting to the spot and realizing that tempers were already running high, stopped his convoy, came down from vehicle, brokered peace and ensured the tanker driver with his assistants drove their fuel laden vehicle away. This saved the day and cleared the building traffic at the area.

The on lookers especially the commuters who were happy with the ease with which the number two citizen of Imo settled the matter hailed the Rescue Mission Government for their approach to issues that concern the citizenry of the State.

Governor Rochas Okorocha has announced that the State Government has concluded plan to pay off all the pension arrears without further delay and explained that the delay in the payment of pensions was as a result of the astonishing rise in what the state was paying as pension.

Governor Okorocha gave the hint while commissioning 500 pieces of urban taxi cabs on Thursday, November 10, 2016 in Owerri explaining that by 2011 when he came in as governor, the state was paying N280 million at the end of each month as pensions but all of a sudden, the amount skyrocketed to N1.4 billion which has made it somewhat difficult for the state to pay considering also the salary burden of the state and what comes in as allocations.

He however remarked that part of the reason for the rise could be that most of the workers who returned from the old East Central State and other places to the state when the state was created in1976 must have retired, vis-a-vis the problems of ghost pensioners and padding, assuring that his government has decided to take the bull by the horn by paying off the pensions.

His words, “the state has no problem with the payment of workers in the state. We have paid salary upto the month of October. Any worker in the state who claims that he or she has not been paid upto October or that he or she is owed salary is a thief. Our only challenge now is the issue of pension. And we have resolved to deal with the issue once and for all. I do not want to owe these senior citizens in my time. We are going to get them paid”.

Commissioning the taxi cabs, Governor Okorocha said the government has embarked on the Imo taxi scheme in the spirit of job creation and urban renewal policies of the administration, and stated that the scheme would offer Imo youths jobs both directly and indirectly.

According to the governor, with the level of development in the state, it would not be good for visitors or tourists to the state to be moving in old cabs, and that with the beautification of Owerri, the State Capital and the urban renewal initiatives of the administration, the government decided to procure the taxi cabs, starting with the 500 pieces available for commissioning.

He said more five hundred pieces will soon be procured, and also recalled that the government had recently commissioned some buses to for Owerri the State capital and environs, all in line with the desire of the government to develop the state.

He asked for the cooperation and understanding of Imo people.

The north obviously has a grand plan of retaining power for so long and this is obvious in the way Tinubu is been put in check so as to limit his influence in the party decisions and made irrelevant in the scheme of things. We never expected such treatment from the north after all we did to support Buhari in the last election. We need the support our SS/SE brothers to make this happen. Lets us unite and forget all grievances. A united south can wrestle power away from the north with the support of Christian minorities in the middle belt and the north. GEJ was a bad president contrary to our thoughts in 2011 when we supported him massively with our votes. He failed woefully and corruption thrived to the highest heavens during his tenure. Contrary to the believe of our SS/SE brothers, yoruba's did not vote Jonathan out because of hatred or betrayal. He simply under-performed and did nothing for the SW region and even boasted that Igbo's are the backbone of his presidency forgetting that the SW supported him massively in 2011. Buhari appeared to be the messiah but so far, the hardship in the land is so unbearable and there is no end in sight to the present predicaments facing us as a nation. Buhari has no economic blueprint and his style of governance is archiac and filled with bad policies like banning forex for importation of consumer goods and releasing the same scarce forex for Islamic religious pilgrimage. It's a bad situation we are in and we need to co-operate to undo this mistake in 2019. Every one is facing hardship and bearing the brunt of inflation and recession irrespective of our tribes and regions. This is why we need the support of our SS/SE brothers in 2019 to vote buhari out. Let's form an alliance and forget past mis-deeds. We are better united in the south than been ruled by a primitive caliphate who believed they are born to rule without positive results....
