@Kadman, lol i thought i was the only one who found mad men boring.  It's too heavy drama for me.
The wire is pretty good, but it's not for everyone.  Some people find it boring.
House is the only medical show i can handle maybe because the character greg house is just something else.
If you like sci fi stuff, you should check out fringe and V

lol, I don't mind trying out the okra recipe in my hair. For some time, I've been looking for people who have tried the recipe but so far, the people I have come in contact with are either too scared to try it or don't like the idea of putting okra in their hair. My only problem with the recipe is that I doubt that the slime from the okra would be thick enough to hold my hair. I'd be better off eating it rater than putting in my hair.

I keep forgetting that avocado is also called pear in Nigeria. Hope you enjoy the recipe. How long is your hair by the way? Are you natural? If so, how long? Hehehe, sorry for all the questions grin.

Random question to all: Hmmm, am I the only one who doesn't mind eating okra raw? grin
Yuck! Can't only handle okro soup so raw okra is just ewww for me. My mom likes boil okra. . .yuck tongue
Yes i'm natural though for the last two years, i had it straightened out, not perming but thermal reconditioning and that even made it longer. . .got to the point of reaching my bum lipsrsealed i've cut it to about midway my back. . .so i'm gonna grow it out and chop off the straightened part and who knows what next i will do tongue

@Inked_nerd, avocado is sometimes called pear in Naija.

I don't think i can do the okra own either. . .for one thing, i don't like okra unless it's okra soup and for another, my hair is too long for gel. Anyway i just braided my hair, so the recipes will have to wait till i take out my braids. Thanks though for the recipes. Much appreciated smiley

None lol. I only enjoyed the stories. . .my teacher had a habit of telling us stories. Once he noticed us losing attention, he would stop whatever lesson he was teaching and start telling us stories. My favorite was Jason and the Argonauts. I lived for those moments cheesy

same here. which hand is stronger for you?

My parents tried to switch me from left to right so i started using both.

but left's still stronger for me.
Ahhh, my parents on the other hand encouraged using both hands.

I write with my right (left is legible but terrible in my eyes lol). i have more force with my left, like opening cans and doing stuff.

BusinessRe: Business Ethics And The Nigerian Factor by iice(f): 4:44pm On Dec 02, 2010
omolayo1:
@poster
Deriving Business Ethics from the Profit Motive/Nigeria factor. Some business people argue that there is a symbiotic relation between ethics and business in which ethics naturally emerges from a profit-oriented business. There are both weak and strong versions of this approach. The weak version is often expressed in the dictum that good ethics results in good business, which simply means that moral businesses practices are profitable. For example, it is profitable to make safe products since this will reduce product liability lawsuits. Similarly, it may be in the best financial interests of businesses to respect employee privacy(oneside), since this will improve morale and thus improve work efficiency etc.

Alot of things can be said about ethics but most important is that ethics to any business person/persons is a culture/standard the business follow which will favour whoever involve in it.

in nigeria contest: do whatever its take to make sure your company is at the saver side at all cost.

Think of every corny pick-up line you know, it will help you pick up Jennifer Aniston.

Love is blind but somehow Tom Cruise always ends up 'bumping into' Cameron Diaz on the way to the off licence store.

The geeky girl doesn't discover that all she has to do is take off her glasses, straighten her hair and wear a fitted dress and she'll be hott. But then she fids out on prom night.

And another important lesson to remember is that money brings out the worst attitude in people.
