Naa, you only hate Asher cuz he's way tooo smart to STILL be a slave to Babatiti
Wrong. grin I don't care if he's elevated to state of Caesar sef grin
There is just something slimy about him.
Spartacus is already planning.  Looks like the twins are with him.  Prixus erhhh Crixus would join him just to find Nevea or something like that.

Gawd, don't butcher their names grin grin
TV/Movies › Re: Any Spartacus : Blood And Sand Fans? by iice(f): 2:26pm On Apr 13, 2010
Asher is more like a character i love to hate grin He's devious alright. But he holds grudges.
Batiatus is all about elevating himself. I laughed so hard when Lucretia asked what the Magistrate said. 'To be repaid in blood' grin grin

Crixus na bleh. So one dimensional. I thought Spartacus was gonna be that way too. But he has his moments of out of character. I thought he was gonna leap on Glaber when Glaber asked him to kneel grin

Your right it's not a good thing to do but, sometimes it's the only way out of a situation that could go on for years.
True for most people. But i don't deal in ultimatums. I give warnings grin If he cannot make the decision himself, me i don do my own.

TV/Movies › Re: What's Your Favourite Movie Soundtrack Or Theme Song? by iice(f): 1:56pm On Apr 13, 2010
darqly:
This is a tricky one, so many excellent soundtracks, great themes out there.

Lets see-

Hans Zimmerman for his music in "The Last Samurai"

Michael Nyman for his music in "Gattaca" (Very haunting music I tell U)

John Barry(and his orchestra) for their music in "On her majesty's Secret Service"

Then anything by Ennio Morricone, James Horner and Jerry Goldsmith.

The theme I'll NEVER forget though is the Intro from "Battlestar Galactica" totally awesome
Love your selection.

grin grin Illythia's voice is irritating, but i sorta like her. She's quite devious, even more than Lucretia. The episode of Varro's death showed me that even when she's down, she will still strike like a cobra grin

You watching V?

Donpuzo:
iice. I think you are totally right. But it think a higher percent of frivolity exist outside marriage.
You are right as well.  I think because when people get to the point of marriage, it's like time to settle down or they delude themselves to thinking they are ready to do so.  Plus the sanctity of marriage, which i'm sure many initially start out to uphold but some break off after some point. undecided

Girl846:
Oh, I'm sure people having intimacy can truly be in love outside marriage. Let me correct myself, "many" not all is lust.
I am just speaking from what I have seen in my immediate environment and from friends' relationships, It is mostly lust.
Even after some of my friends claim to love each other, they ahead to hurt each other by cheating or eventually break up for silly reasons.
Im at university and it seems like people are just out for casual intimacy and hookups.
I guess I am just cynical about youthful relationships. undecided
People in marriage cheat and hurt each other either physically or emotionally.  Marriage does not guarantee love, happiness or peace.  Marriage cannot correct or set right what is evil in man (by that i mean human).
But having said that. . .i understand what you mean about casual relationships and people who claim to love each other.

Rofl @ Ashur. Batiatus is kinda my favorite so far. Crixus is annoying.
But yeah, it got interesting in the last episode.

Women and some men get wrapped up in fairytales. Instead of them to live the lives of reality. . .they are living the lives of fantasy in reality grin

Nothing wrong in being in a sex-free relationship but for the right reasons.

Girl846:
Intimacy when done within marriage helps to bond the couple.
But intimacy outside marriage is usually done out of lust and lust doesn't last long.
So you can't love outside a marriage? huh

Do you feel guilty after you've cheated on your partner?

How do you come home after you've cheated and look your partner in the eye. Do you find yourself feeling guilty or doing special things for them to make up for the cheating?
Some people can separate the experience so it doesn't really register that they should feel guilty or something undecided
