Culture › What Ndoki People Say About Themselves by ijawcitizen(op): 11:38am On Sep 24, 2020 |
The ethnic identity of the Ndoki People in Rivers and Abia state has been a topic of heated debate between the Ijaws and Igbos on this forum in the time past.
Today I have decided to post screenshots of what real Ndoki people say about themselves.
Enjoy....

Resemblance246: I guess you are right but our ijaw brothers from
outside state will be an opposition we have no issues with ondo state only for our itsekiri brothers to put their head straight and dance to the tune that is all. It is impossible for Itsekiri to be part of Oduduwa republic UNLESS Edo(Bini) people decide to be part of it. All Ondo-Delta border communities esp those in Delta are Ijaw communities. There is also an Ijaw-owned local government area of Ese-Odo on the Ondo section. Without Edo in Oduduwa, itsekiris remain in Niger Delta Republic. |

The Igbos in the South South should do the same. We will not tolerate fifth-columnists and people with divided loyalty in Niger Delta Republic.
We haven't forgotten how they betrayed the Midwest which chose to be neutral during the war. |

MosheDayan: you are always jumping on threads that talk about Igbos and SS. my guy you are not important in the scheme of things stop making yourself look like as if you are. go and settle your rift with the Edo people that you have been trying for so many years to steal their land. go and settle your issues with the itsekiri in Delta State. Igbos are not your problem. you are a minority group with less value to us. please stop embarrassing yourself. You seem to be very good at talking trash. Keep it up |

meavox: You obviously didn't read my original post where it was stated that in this modern day Alliances are necessary. Eg Germany big as it is has various Alliances. The post also says your type can stay in Ijaw land. Even just remain in your village. Ijaw nation will benefit from associating not only with Igbo, but Ogoja (like me), Ogoni, Urhobo etc. We are done with the DUMB African who thinks that in 21st century his little village can be a country on its own. That's just baby talk. Read aloud to your hearing the title of your topic again and tell me who you think you're fooling |

MosheDayan: [s][/s]I have been trying for a while to really understand where this young man is coming from. now I get. some times, it's better for one to keep quiet than to make a fool out of himself. what is the relationship between the Ijaws, Urohbo, Itsekiri, and Isoko with the Igbos? and what benefit are we to get from these people let's say we want to even force them to join us? how can you force a people who do not have any reasonable thing to offer? these people keep talking about how Igbos want to force SS peeps with them. how amusing. Mr Ijaw, you are useless to us. even to Nigeria. if not for oil what have you offered Nigeria other than militancy? please you are not important. and you don't exist. Are you done talking or you have something more, perhaps something meaningful to say this time? |

Niger Delta on the hand is highly defensible with infinite supplies. Go argue with your breast |

OriakuAmara: now you are getting my point, now I prefer you using Non-Igbo in south south for whatever gibberish you are writing! if Nigeria break, everybody will answer his/her papa name, so stop deceiving urself of being a majority in a SS country! ur swampy mosquito infested Ijaw land will be a country of its own What Ijawland shall be is not for you to grant. Obviously you're not very smart. How many Ijaw have you seen in any igbo community in the SS telling them they are all Niger Deltans as your nuisance igbo brothers are doing? The day they will get on our nerves and they get the lunching of their lives, they have no one but themselves to blame for their reckless statements. |

Danger95: Niger Delta is not sovereign, Biafra was, Nigeria is, I'm not a Biafran centric Igbo, we Igbos embraced Nigeria in every aspect, everything we do we do it pan Nigerian, Nollywood, is a big example, for once not every Igbo feel like Biafra is feasible ofcourse if Biafra ever comes, I have no option but I must make my mark in Nigeria, I'm Nigeria as any other Nigeria if not more So you still do not acknowledge Niger Delta as a separate entity from biafra? Then we have nothing else to talk about and all your talks about cooperation are all hogwash because we look like fools to you, right? You can only cooperate with an entity that you acknowledge as distinct from you else your aim is to come and plunder |

Danger95: Yes you said the absolute truth we are hungry in Igbo land, very very hungry which is why our forefathers knew this fact and became friends and allies with the people of Tiv, Idoma, Igala of Kogi and Benue state, but you know what, we never forced them to give us their food, we traded their food for something else then if our forefathers were friends and allies, why can't we This is quite different from what you wrote here... Danger95: I can boldly tell you that I can go to Asaba any day, go to PH any day anytime, go to Bayelsa, Cross River, Markudi, Lokoja and say hey I'm igbo and Im hungry and I will see one Igala, one Idoma and one Ijaw that will say my Igbo friend and brother come and eat with me...That's what I'm saying and those are the people that matters |

Danger95: Nobody is lumping anybody, all I'm saying is, what do you sell, I really want to buy, would you teach our Military intelligence how to swim, would you get to a trade arrangement and agreement where you won't manhandled our people going about their normal legitimate trade in your zone, coordination and cooperation more like it, then it is only through this way that we could know if we can have more in common not How is all of these lofty ideas possible when your do not even acknowledge the sovereignty of the Niger Delta as separate from biafra? |

Danger95: I never made it like it an order, but frankly and personally if you ever come to Igbo land and Identify yourself as Ijaw, and you are hungry, we sure will not just feed you, we will adopt you. The Igbos doing business all over the country did not make success by ordering people to buy, they made success by convincing people to buy, Perhaps I should direct you to your fellow igbos in Igboland who are very hungry and in need of people to feed and adopt them? |

Danger95: I'm talking to you in particular, no body is making hate the keyword unless if you want to hate, like you said let's skip the hate part, I can tell you that we can be trade partners, maybe you may not wish to buy from us but I bet you, we want to buy from you, how about a Niger delta where you control your oil and Igbos can build modular refineries buy your crude oil from your states controlled resources refine it and distribute across the continent don't you think that's better than the current Nigeria system... Then stop merging SE and the Niger delta together under any guise, it will be counter productive to the partnership that you seek. You brought up the hate word, remember that. Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaketh. Readers can easily guess who amongst us is hate fillled |

Danger95: You are conflicting yourself, Asaba is politically in Niger Delta, wow and maybe Geographically in Spain, I just mentioned 1, Igbo town, I never said anything about being the capital of any state, there are other Igbo towns in the Niger Delta, all we I'm saying is, let us do our part, the people will decide, note currently we have no other country apart from Nigeria, till we have another country then I can boldly tell you that I can go to Asaba any day, go to PH any day anytime, go to Bayelsa, Cross River, Markudi, Lokoja and say hey I'm igbo and Im hungry and I will see one Igala, one Idoma and one Ijaw that will say my Igbo friend and brother come and eat with me...That's what I'm saying and those are the people that matters I like your optimism and how your imagination leaps to the point in the imaginary future that you walk up to the people you wish to be under the igbo lebenstraum and euphemistically order them to give you food and they shall cower before you because you are igbo. How many of these people walk up to igbos in Igboland and ask for food and they are freely given? |

Danger95: There is no war in sight, #peace, trade is not always about buying from us, we can buy from you, how about that or are you so hate filled that you wont even sell to us Oh, you have started feeling hated already? The part where everybody hates you is supposed to come last when you nothing else to say, but it seems to me you still have a lot to say, so pls skip the "hate filled" bullshitt for last |

Danger95: Don't Forget Igbos are also part of Niger Delta, Anioma is there to mention just one Igbo town but this is not about burning houses, this is not about water, this not about war, this as about realising the truth, rising to the divide and conquer mechanism, tell me what extreme evil Igbos did, was it an Igbos the Asaba massacre, was it the Igbos the Odi massacre, Timaya's Song Dem Mama, was it the Igbos, I'm really getting entertainer by your insinuations but it very much welcome, while we are trying to convince the strong heads like yourself that the advantage is far bigger than the disadvantages, many others are already aligning, I expected a stronger opposition than I'm seeing in you, making it all easier We both have very different definitions of the Niger Delta. Trust me, no single igbo community is in the Niger Delta. The Niger Delta as a territory preexisted state creations and the current state boundaries do not define the Niger Delta so your Asaba that was manipulated by an igbo woman be in, an even become the capital of delta state can never in the real sense be said to be in the Niger Delta. It is only politically in a Niger Deltan state. There are Niger Deltans in the South West too. |

Talking about war, you don't know me very well, do You? I am guessing you've never met any war tested Niger deltan ex-militant |

Danger95: It okay how you in particular view your neighbours but I guess next time, when fire is burning your house, just go and call those Africans in Ghana and Mozambique, we had existed side by side and we can't just wake up and break all the bridges. See us anyway you want but next time I see an Ijaw man in Igbo land, I don't see an alien, I don't see just a black man, I see a neighbour, I see s friend, I see a brother We are Niger Deltans, whenever or house is fire, we use the waters we have in abundance to quench it. We are not very used to calling people to quench fire for us you know. We are natural fire extinguishers. Matter of fact, igbos were the ones who started burning our houses |

That one does not need rodents in his house is different from being scared of rodents. If it is war you want to use to achieve your expansionist agenda like the fulanis are doing, be rest assured that the Niger Delta of today is not the Niger Delta of 1967. |

Danger95: We are not looking at an actual travel, I mean as brothers, all I'm just saying is Igbos are well placed in both side, ofcourse it is possible for you to get to Scotland without going to England but if Nigeria wish to have a relationship with Scotland presently somehow they'd have to go through England unless we are already at war with England at which point we have to reconsider I really don't know where or how you get your info, but we are not brothers and that's the plain truths. We are fellow Africans and it ends there. I don't see you differently as I see other Africans from Ghana, SA, US, gabon etc |

Danger95: Everything is not about the Igbos but the Igbos are the bridge, as an Ijaw, that lives in the Niger Delta, while you may get to Igala, you know the link is much easier through the Igbo Igbo hinterland, the Ijaws have a very remarkable relationship with Efik, so if we could have something in common, you won't wish away the role the Igbos will play in linking the Niger Delta with the Middle Belt, if the Niger Delta and The South East leaves our brothers in the Middle belt on their own, they will stay in a perpetual forceful alliance and union with the core North This really pathetic you know. And for the records, I won't pass thru Igboland to get to the middle belt |

bigpriik: 1)no one agitation for them countries are born as a result of war or long years of agitation ,at the moment no one is agitating for a middle belt or niger delta, the truth is they would be swallowed up in hegemny of bigger ethnic nation.unlike oduduwa and biafra who have international awareness and recognition of recent there is no such thing as the above done for the former.the groups have plans and even constitutions, where do minorities want to stArt fro
2)they are not united and multiethnic organising a multiethnic nation is not an easy task who will lead who?what does an ijaw man have in common with an efik man or anioma man?hpw will they agree on economic and political matters?
3)they are literally running away from their shadows southsouth and middlebelt minorities are running away from igbos and arewas ,they forget to ask themself if we eventually become a nation the largest groups like the ijaws and jukuns eventually becomes the majority in the new country ,then what is the difference.
personally i dont see nigeria splitting into more than two or three countries. Like Fulani, Like Igbo...two people, the same expansionist agenda |
