PoliticsRe: If Nigeria Divide Today, Will The Akwa Cross Region Join The Biafran? by ijawcitizen(m): 11:30am On Feb 08, 2021
gidgiddy:
Lets get things in perspective. Niger Delta is not a tribe, its not even a people. It is an 'area'. I laugh when and Edo man calls Ibibio man on the other side of the River Niger, his 'Niger Delta brother'. What connection does an Efo man have with Ibibio?

The reality is that should Nigeria break up, it not how someone from Akwa-Cross is thinking now, will he think then. There will be three options for the Akwa Cross man.

1) Leave with Igbos to Biafra

2) Continue with what is left of Nigeria after Igbos leave for Biafra

3) Declare Akwa-Cross a seperate independent state

It will be up to them which one they choose, but option 1 is the only one that will have any immediate foundation
Your igbo divide and conquer strategy on the people of Niger Delta Republic will not work.

Please digest this from the apex Ibibio sociocultural association Mkparawa Ibibio.

The Niger Delta has had economic ties with the SE as far beyond 200 years before now. Whatever lies ahead in the future for the two regions, we maintain peaceful, mutual, strategic partnerships and relationships leaning away from acrimonious issues of the past but with the understanding towards creating a future for the unborn generation.

There's no strife or war between the Niger Delta and SS. Leave the bickering and ancient hostilities, presumptions and leanings on positions of insecurities. As allies in trade, commerce, research, development, economics, sea navigation, marine engineering, deep sea exploration, aero nautical, join defense exercises and similar protocols, I will meditate a peaceful co-existence of tranquility, stability, growth and oneness cause failure to stand together makes us vulnerable to outside forces...
Not in this life, or in the life to come.

We know where to get all of what you mentioned when Niger Delta Republic becomes a reality.

CultureRe: How many languages are in your state? by ijawcitizen(m):
Kalatium:
I mean languages not tribe/ethnic group
Understand this,

A single language may be made up several dialects. Counting these dialects as different languages is the error that makes people to believe that Kaduna is made up of 20 languages and Nigeria made up of 250 languages.

Note that South west is 99% Yoruba and South East is 97% igbo. Are we to say that the remaining 4 zones have 248 languages?
CultureRe: How many languages are in your state? by ijawcitizen(m): 10:20am On Feb 05, 2021
Kalatium:
Of course. Thats why i said tribes not ethnic groups. We have over 500 tribes in Nigeria alone.
what is the relevance of saying humans have millions of eye cells when you could simply say humans have two eyes?
CultureRe: How many languages are in your state? by ijawcitizen(m): 12:29pm On Feb 02, 2021
I believe most of these tribes are just clans, sections, towns or dialects of a larger ethnic group.

With proper ethnic grouping, the tribes in Kaduna may not be up to 10.

Can someone actually give me a detailed piece about what caused the bad blood between the Ijaws and the Igbos despite both being on the short side of things as Nigeria is concerned? I really need to know since both people before the Advent of Nigeria had birthed great city states such as Bonny , Opobo etc.
What do you mean BOTH PEOPLE BIRTHED BONNY, OPOBO ETC?

Lol. Prof Dike is not your problem. The Alabariye story already existed in records many decades before the 1950s when Dike conducted his research and merely reproduced what had been written before him by the likes of AG Leonard.

Dike is not your problem.
Yeah the good old 50s when the igbo establishment rewriting of the history of non-igbos in the igbo kingdom of Eastern region was in full swing.

The records in Ndoki, Bonny and Opobo are still intact and none of them said anything about Alagbarigha/Alagbariye (a proper Ijaw names) being an Ngwa man.

This statement by Kenneth Dike is grand igbo revisionism of the 50s taken too far, it is simply desperation that is only paralleled by the fulani madness.
PoliticsRe: Igbos Chose Peace, Dialogue And Non Alliance by ijawcitizen(m): 4:21pm On Jan 24, 2021
AlexBells:
Non allied in this case is referring to the issue at hand where the two involved tribes were allies even against us.

I don't know you, I have not met you before but Igbo province today is different from Yesterday, All the Eastern tribe who rallied round us in time past are our allies, unless if today they chose otherwise, and should we have any issue with those tribes we must exhaust all the peaceful means first so yes, Eastern tribes are our allies and neighbours unless they choose otherwise.

You must also know that Igbo province does not recognize Niger Delta as a people but we recognise you as Ijaw, because Igbo province comprises all of Igboland both the one in Niger Delta and the one in south east and Ezza in Benue.

So to me the Ijaws are our neighbours and friend and to some extent allies but we respect their autonomy, we are no longer in Biafra or Eastern Nigeria where we all had one entity, today Igbolabd is distinct just as the distinct nation we are, you hear in the news recently they are only attacking Fulanis not Hausa/Fulanis so it applies to everyone we are Igbos and that's our decision, we see you as allie but if don't see us as such we have intelligent considerations and reciprocate accordingly
Let me make certain things clear to you.

1. No non-igbo tribe "rallied around" igbo in the past. Even before the war started, we all wanted out of eastern region.

Individuals from non-igbo territory supported igbo, just like individuals from SW still support fulani against their people. It doesn't make us your allies. Truth is, nobody wants to be in alliance with an igbo man.

2. Your recognition or non-recognition of the people of the Niger Delta is irrelevant to us true Niger Deltans. We will always stay United as Niger Deltans against the wish of the igbo nation who has fingered our territory for annexation like the fulanis in the middle belt (indeed the entire country)

Make room for any individual who wish eternal servitude to igbos like that "ebitimi" of a guy inside your igbo land. Niger Delta will not contain them.

Your leprous igbo fingers have nothing on Okrika people.

We have already begun the pruning of the igbo leprous hold on Ndokiland. Igbo cultural parasitism is a prowling virus that must be crushed.

To many ethnic nationalities have lost territories to igbo cultural parasitism. Ijaw nation has risen, expect the Ibibios, igalas, Idoma, etc to reclaim their stolen territories from Igboland soon, then we shall know what is left of your igbo land or biafra.
CultureRe: Ndoki Clan Reunion With Their Ijaw Root. by ijawcitizen(m): 10:57am On Jan 20, 2021
Abagworo:
This further proves a point that 1st language is the most important factor in determining ethnicity. Okrika for example speaks 2 languages of Igbo and Wakrike but the 1st language is Wakrike which is a pointer to Ijaw root [s] while the 2nd language of Igbo points to the Igbo influence through marriages, migrations and other interactions. [/s] Ndoki has nothing in common with Ijaw whether in looks, culture and language. [s] Bonny comprises people of mixed ethnicity with Igbo contributing more than Ibibio and Ijaw. Anybody in doubt should do a DNA sampling of Bonny natives and give out the unbiased result. [/s]

Are you for real or you are joking?

We are yet to get a single show of gratitude from the igbo nation for all we did for you.

Jonathan's govt the only govt that has been fair to the igbos, what makes you feel we should be the ones to thank you for being fair to you people is what I still don't understand.

May I ask whose other option you forfeited to "support" Jonathan?
Rather, if you didn't support Jonathan govt for being fair to igbo (despite all your crimes against us), who would you have "supported", Donald Trump?

You want to turn logic on its head and expect us to thank you for being fair to you because of your foolish pride preventing you from being grateful to the people of the Niger Delta.

FYI, your "support" (whatever that means) is worthless to us. It has always been, and it still is.

We are the landlords as far as southern Nigeria is concerned, a migrant tribe like igbos can not draw our boundary for us. We are the ones who will draw your southern boundaries, we've done it before and we shall do it again, this time more precisely.

Ijaws are not know to be migrants. The only migrant tribe in southern Nigeria that rivals fulani in the North is the igbo tribe.

Your legendary penchant for criminal landgrabbing is well known and has left and indelible mark engraved in the memory and psyche of Ibibio nation in what is criminally renamed as Arochukwu, amongst the indigenous Igala and Idoma territories illegally grabbed into the South east.

If you think you can replicate such primitive feat in Ndokiland founded by Ijaw ancestors then you have hit a massive brick wall.
