All Democratic means grin

But the Justice system already failed the US.
He should have had his trial for both attempting to steal the election and the stealing of Government classified documents.
The judge (I believe corrupt), who dismissed his classified documents case is on his shortlist to be Attorney General.

Lol.
What did his stunt accomplish.
Did he speak about employee wages?
Did he speak about food safety, the reason why regulations are necessary?

No and No.
A President's time is limited and this was the same type of nonsensical stunts that he pulled while President.

I wonder if McDonalds was aware of this before they allowed him to use their restaurant for that stunt.

I think the lesson is to make arrangements before landing.
There is no way I would allow any taxi driver to just take me to a random hotel esp. in Festac.
You can easily book a hotel online that's located within a couple miles of the airport.
I usually do that when I need to take an early local flight after I land.

The GOP is at its "flooding the media with shady polls", stage again.
The Trafalgar poll seems to be an especially fake one.

“Red Wave” Redux: Are GOP Polls Rigging the Averages in Trump’s Favor?
Polling by right-leaning firms has exploded this cycle. Maybe they want to be accurate—or maybe they’re trying to create a sense of momentum for Donald Trump.

...
It all went down in mid-September, at a time when the FiveThirtyEight polling averages showed the slightest of leads for Kamala Harris in North Carolina, a must-win state for Trump. Her edge was short-lived: The averages moved back to favoring Trump. And Quantus Insights, a GOP-friendly polling firm, took credit for this development. When a MAGA influencer celebrated the pro-Trump shift on X (formerly Twitter), Quantus’s account responded: “You’re welcome.”
...
Coming at a time when right-wing disinformation is soaring—and Trump’s most feverish ally, Elon Musk, is converting X into a bottomless sewer pit of MAGA-pilled electoral propaganda—these critics see all this as a hyper-emboldened version of what happened in 2022, when GOP polls flooded the polling averages and arguably helped make GOP Senate candidates appear stronger than they were, leading to much-vaunted predictions of a “red wave.” Most prominently, Democratic strategist Simon Rosenberg and data analyst Tom Bonier, who were skeptical of such predictions in 2022 and ultimately proved correct, are now warning that all this is happening again.
https://newrepublic.com/article/187425/gop-polls-rigging-averages-trump
...
In their telling, GOP data is serving an essential end of pro-Trump propaganda, which is heavily geared toward painting him as a formidable, “strong” figure whose triumph over the “weak” Kamala Harris is inevitable. This illusion is essential to Trump’s electoral strategy, goes this reading, and GOP-aligned data firms are concertedly attempting to build up that impression, both in the polling averages and in media coverage that is gravitationally influenced by it. They are also engaged in a data-driven psyop designed to spread a sense of doom among Democrats that the election is slipping away from them.
...
Some of the pollsters that got those races wrong are the same ones pumping out polls right now on the presidential race. One notable example is Trafalgar, which released polls in 2022 that showed five Republican Senate candidates either ahead or much closer than they ended up finishing.
The most notable of these was in Washington state, where a Trafalgar poll in late October showed Democratic incumbent Patty Murray up by just 1.7 points over GOP challenger Tiffany Smiley. That poll generated a raft of “Is Patty Murray in trouble?” stories, the idea being that if even Murray was sinking in very blue Washington, then maybe a huge red wave really was gathering force. (Murray won by 15 points.)

He said that, in his opinion, Mr. Trump met the definition of a fascist, would govern like a dictator if allowed, and had no understanding of the Constitution or the concept of rule of law.

He discussed and confirmed previous reports that Mr. Trump had made admiring statements about Hitler, had expressed contempt for disabled veterans and had characterized those who died on the battlefield for the United States as “losers” and “suckers” — comments first reported by The Atlantic.

From calling Liberal Americans "The Enemy Within" who he will use the US Military on
to saying he needs the Kind of Generals That Hitler Had
Let's pray this man child never gets close to the White House Again

The personal qualities displayed by Trump in his reaction to the cost of the Guillén funeral—contempt, rage, parsimony, racism—hardly surprised his inner circle. Trump has frequently voiced his disdain for those who serve in the military and for their devotion to duty, honor, and sacrifice. Former generals who have worked for Trump say that the sole military virtue he prizes is obedience. As his presidency drew to a close, and in the years since, he has become more and more interested in the advantages of dictatorship, and the absolute control over the military that he believes it would deliver. “I need the kind of generals that Hitler had,” Trump said in a private conversation in the White House, according to two people who heard him say this. “People who were totally loyal to him, that follow orders.” (“This is absolutely false,” Pfeiffer wrote in an email. “President Trump never said this.”)

Absolutely well said Ijebos.

I watched the video interview the twin brother had here twice with rapt attention. I just couldn't fathom why getting the damn CCTV footages at the International Airport would run into some headwinds. The twin brother said the airport management wasn't forth coming with the CCTV footages in order to protect the privacy of other passengers who arrived on the flight. It's the duty of crime investigators to analyze the CCTV footages that'll lead to what airport cab the young man entered then we'll take it from there by interrogating the driver for leads.

I had to share this link and put a few calls through to my close fam members in multiple Diaspora locations to be aware of this kind of situation and pay more attention to little details when moving cross-borders.

NOT hearing from or knowing where your close relative is can be mentally draining tbh. It's BETTER to know ASAP that they are dead than NOT to know where they are when they suddenly get missing.
Yeah, very odd they they haven't seen the CCTV footage by now. 5 months? They don't even need to have it turned over, just have it viewed with an investigator in their presence. The Nigerian Police should have had that happen relatively quickly. Hopefully this Social Media push puts more pressure on them. Hopefully it hasn't been erased. I have no faith in Nigerian processes.

That's great advice. It's easy to not pay attention to those little details.
Someone should know your itinerary and at the minimum when you land.
I even ask the g/f to send a pic of the license plate or share the Uber of any non company transport she takes when leaving the airport in a foreign country to me or her sister.
I try to do the same but I also have to be more thoughtful about it.
Circumstances can change in a second.

Trump: ‘I Need the Kind of Generals That Hitler Had’
The Republican nominee’s preoccupation with dictators, and his disdain for the American military, is deepening.
...
Trump became angry. “It doesn’t cost 60,000 bucks to bury a fucking Mexican!” He turned to his chief of staff, Mark Meadows, and issued an order: “Don’t pay it!” Later that day, he was still agitated. “Can you believe it?” he said, according to a witness. “Fucking people, trying to rip me off.”

You should care. You spend ~4 hours a day logged in here.
People work an average 8 hours a day.
You spend half of someone's work day being wrong on Nairaland.
You aren't even here learning anything, just running your mouth, sounding like an idiot talking to your best friend who pretends he lives in the US, who has been spending about ~12 hours a day here.

Now do the same for others on this thread, then plot in a chart and write a 50 page report on it

Maybe when you are done, you will be less grumpy and more unlikely to bust a vein

It surely wont make you less of a failure in life though
That you don't realize you lost this is a sign how stupid you are.
There is data on Nairaland saying you've spent ~4 hours here daily since 2014.
That is a feat in itself.

Even if I did write a 50 page report on it, I still wouldn't come close to averaging the time you've spend here.

You of all people should STFU about people's lives outside of Nairaland and who is a failure at it or not.
But seemingly unaware that you are a loser, whenever you lose an argument, and you lose them often, that's the first thing you run to.
