Illusioneffect:Really? Where does one start. -He and his dad was sued by DOJ(Feds) in the 70's for not renting to black people. -He asked for the death penalty for the Central Park 5(Black and Latino men) who were not guilty, -He used the N word on the set of the Apprentice, "Yeah,” Trump allegedly said, “but, I mean, would America buy a nigg*r winning?”" There are supposedly tapes the Apprentice producer keeps locked away and won't produce. -He to tried to card Obama and still tries to otherize him by using his Muslim middle name anytime he talks. And that's just off the top of my head. You know if you are really interested, Google is a good source of information. Just type in what you are interested in and off you go. |
gofigurena:You're in Naij so parts and maintenance would be on top of the list. Would get something that could be easily maintained. Cars after 60k are going to need some maintenance esp. depending on how they are driven. I would 1.) Figure out your budget range and what type of car you want. Luxury, dependability, etc. You seem to have a range of cars there. 2.) Narrow down the cars that fit it 3.) Figure out the pricing for the cars before you start searching. If something seems really low or an amazing deal like the LR2 you mentioned, there's a reason behind it. 4.) Run the VIN. Look out for Cars that were totaled out, water damaged, accidents, odometer rollbacks(lower mileage cars are better obviously) etc. 5.) Take a mechanic you trust with you to do a thorough inspection of the car before paying. You can find a list of what to check online. Any dealer not willing, walk away. And focus on the mechanics just as much as the looks. |
ObaIgwe1:You mean Raumdeuter actually watch or read the clip/article that he jumps head first into? Nah, why would he do something like that? I mean, why waste all that time when you can just make things up and talk about how you feel it was. |
raumdeuter:Trending like this?
|
raumdeuter:You watch a network wchich lies and propagandizes to you and you don't understand why you are always wrong. Bret Baier said the Harris' team said the interview would be 25 minutes. They then told him it was going to be 20 minutes before the interview. The interview lasted... wait for it. 26 minutes. And at the end it was Bret rushing to finish so he could make his deadline to air it. So, yes they were waving their hands to wrap up as the interview went over and they probably had another stop to get to. His statement is really rich, disingenuous and intellectually dishonest. You know that word. But as we saw during this interview this is how Fox News operates. They lie, air misleading edited clips and then purposefully mislead by leaving certain erroneous impressions by what they say and don't. This whole interview from a supposed News anchor, esp. trying to sandbag Harris with an edited clip, was disgusting. |
Illusioneffect:Listen, I think Harris will be a competent leader. But, I do not want Trump anywhere near the white house. I don't want a racist, sexist, degenerate, liar with a poor character to be President. Covid was his leadership test and he failed it miserably. It's rare that a President gets tested in a manner we can all see the results of his leadership. It was horrendous. Why would anyone want him to run anything, least alone out country? He is an example of why DEI is necessary. We have a white man who failed miserably, killing many many people in turn. And because of that was kicked out of office. He is incompetent. But because he is a White Man, people are given him a pass, suddenly have amnesia and are praising him over a very qualified black woman. |
Illusioneffect:They initially said the interview was supposed to be 25-35. Before the interview they changed it 20, she was somewhat late. So Brett knew he had 20 minutes. He also had to finish up to get ready for his broadcast. (All this was described by Bret on Fox News) Even if Harris' team was hurrying him, If you watch the interview, it was Bret that was hurrying it along, because he had to make his broadcast. |
Illusioneffect:Google the word favoured. May help you. Illusioneffect:Yes, Obama was responsible. That's how economics and fiscal policy works. You make a policy, it takes time to propagate to see the effects. Ex. we won't see effects of the new interest rate cut won't take for maybe 6 months. Hence why I keep asking you what were Trump's policies that made the economy better. You say tax cuts. What else. You seem to be having a hard time answering. Illusioneffect:Most mortgage payments are the same now as they were in 2019. In fact most people who bought houses years ago, have much more equity in their homes. |
happney65: And Bret was supposed to be one of the moderators if Fox News had a debate. I'm shocked he did this. I guess I'm still naive at how far Fox News has fallen. To have that happen Someone(maybe his staffer) had to have watched the clip of Trump's full remarks, hear him make the same comments about "enemy within" and then purposeful cue the clip to start right after those comments. Bret had to be aware of the full clip, he had to have heard Trump make those comments before, had to expect Harris to bring it up and decided in advance to play that clip to rebut her and pretend Trump never made comments about "enemy within" because he thought Harris wouldn't know. And when Kamala called out the deceptive edit, he made the decision to lie about it. All out deceptive and shady. |
I'm glad Harris did the interview. It exposes Fox for the propaganda arm that they are. It's one thing to do a tough interview, it's another to lie to and disrespect the person you're interviewing. There are some very deceitful things Brett Baier did. I'm shocked. Here is one I'm surprised any supposed journalist would do. He shows a clip of Trump's comments about "enemies within" but actually cuts out the part of the clip with Trump making the comment. And then he tries to pretend Trump never made the comment. But Harris prepared called him out. Watch the full video below. It has the fuller clip of Trump making the comments again which Baier conveniently cuts out in the clip he showed on Fox News. So shady and deceptive. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y9ELm946p28 |
Illusioneffect:That's your insecurity speaking. I was referring to you having a hard time explaining what policy Trump created to make the economy so successful. You keep repeating tax cuts, but his tax cuts set the stage for the inflation we have now. He had near 0 interests rates and then added tax cuts on top of that that went more to the wealthy and help blow up the deficit. And it's obvious you're young. You sound immature in your thinking and in your language. |
Facial Recognition Dynamic (Surge) Pricing for Groceries? Now what? Exactly what Kamala Harris was talking about. Who do you think will be more disproportionately affected? Kroger’s Plan to Use Facial Recognition Raises Concerns About Surge Pricing |
Illusioneffect:It's ok. You don't understand what you posted and have no idea how Trump made the economy as successful as you say. Playing this game impugns you, not me. The reason why you are having a hard time, because just as much of everything Trump says, it's largely Bullshit. |
raumdeuter:What's wild is you don't even understand how silly you sound. Cuz you have no perspective. If you saw my linkedin maybe you'd understand. My first corporate internship was at State Street Bank when I was 14/15. By the time I started INROADS at 18 I had already had 3 corporate internships at fortune 500s. Most of my friends have similar paths. It's not your fault. Too prideful to use your head. You have a reason for being a racist apologist and downplaying your experience. Maybe one day you'll figure it out. But the experience you claim and try to promote here is not representative of the US and only a fool would believe so. |
Illusioneffect:You posted a copy of Trump's website. I asked you to explain what economic and international affair policies Trump enacted that you thought were successful and why they were successful. |
raumdeuter:There is something off about this thread and some of the posters who say they "live" in the US esp. places like Texas. I have spent most of my life in the US, and have never met a black person who spent significant time here claim they have never experienced racism. It's always a matter of the degree. Not going to call anyone out, but some of these people's "experiences" are very peculiar and I would even venture to say almost made up. |
Illusioneffect:So, a candidate's team creates multiple ads for multiple papers. On the ad that is going to the Black paper he forgets which date his whole universe centers around, but it's correct for the others What is the probability that a political campaigns ad teams makes an error around the election date? Most campaigns can wil count down the days till the election. What is the probability that this mistake happened in the only Black Paper? The ad is below. Kinda glaring, no? Yeah, this isn't the first time this type of thing has been done. You seem like an apologist, why?
|
Illusioneffect:You sound programmed. Everytime I ask you what policy he enacted that was successful, you dodge and swerve and repeat the same thing. It's called propaganda. Repeat the same thing over and over and people repeat it. That's how advertising works. And you've been in Dallas for a while and have never racism. I call Bullshit. |
Another Republican playing racist shenanigans trying to prevent black people from voting. Printed an ad in a Black owned newspaper saying to vote on Nov. 6th. In the other ads the date was correct. Election date is on Nov. 5th In the political ad, it’s somewhat easy to overlook the blunder of printing the wrong date for Election Day in the Michigan Bulletin. It reads, “On Nov. 6, vote for Tom Barrett.” |
Illusioneffect:Explain to me what was his foreign policy was that worked. What specifically did he do? As to the economy, what economic policy/plan did he enact that worked. Explain it to me like I'm a child. It's easy to say something worked without explaining nor understanding why it worked. It has been very effective propaganda by Trump. And honestly, a lot of people have fallen for it. What is worrying, you're a black Nigerian man who says he lives in Texas. You seem little concerned about the explosion of racism and xenophobia and more so if Trump is elected. Esp. in Texas. |
SpaceX:Did you watch it? That they clapped should tell you something. I listened to it on my drive home yesterday. Can you tell me one specific policy he would enact? He said his tariffs were only for negotiation so it won't raise prices. He also said he would need the revenue generated from those tariffs to raise trillions of money to pay for his programs. Which one is it ? It can't be both. And even if were the latter and he placed tariffs on every import, it still wouldn't be enough to pay for his programs. His remarks were beyond dumb. It was economic policy gibberish, but some smart people in that room applauded. Not because they didn't know it was gibberish, because they care more about the tax cuts and grift they would get for his administration. Basic robber barons. Akin to those supporting Tinubu right now. |
Illusioneffect:America is in a tough position, compared to when? When Clinton took office? When Obama took office? When Biden took office? The fact is Dems take over when Republicans make messes. 4 years later Republicans run on "They haven't fixed the mess I made fast enough". Rinse, Repeat Facts belay you and Trump's view of how bad America is. Republicans are so used to saying anything and believing it's reality because people don't push back. |
Illusioneffect:And in the 2022 election? And the 2022 run off? Based on who is moving to Georgia, it is on the brink of being blue for generations. |
ObaIgwe1:He's currently in attention seeking mode. Whether what he says makes sense is less important than getting my attention. But, you are right. Any rational person understands, as you've said, Dems vote early and Repubs vote on election day, so high early voting numbers compared to previous years, most likely mean Dems are doing better than previous years in the early turnout, which may correspond with election day increases and higher enthusiasm. |
Seems there has been overwhelming turnout in Georgia today for in person early voting.
|
bemeruca:You seem to be doing quite well logging in and not finding me here. You might have thought I was Raumdeuter.
|
Obrigardo:Lol. Drudge has been wildin out. But seriously too many seemingly sane people are giving all his nutty esp. fascist talk a pass. |
basilico:Your definition of unwinding is logging in to a public forum's politics thread, posting nutty conspiracies, insulting people and getting insulted. Yeah of course, I told you, you're a nut. And if I needed validation, or someone to tell me how dope I am, I'd call my girl or one of the many chicks who want my time. What validation could punching down on a half-wit bring? And, I do take is seriously because I have skin in the game. That's what happens when you actually live somewhere and don't just log on to rub shoulders with foreigners to inflate your ego. So do your dimwit unwinding and leave me out of it. Pax. |
Appletek:Lagos is the economic capital of Nigeria. So, I am comparing it to Economic capitals around the world. Have you left Nigeria and been to any other economic capital of any other country? Go visit one and when you do tell me how Lagos compares. We as a country have gotten too comfortable with mediocrity. And your tribalism makes it easier to have in and out groups which make people feel better about themselves. While overall the whole country is failing, you're here arguing who is failing less. As I said, tribalism has rotted your brain. |
basilico:And I'll keep mentioning you when I want to correct another one of your misinformation posts I think is important to. Either you know Robinson is filing this suit to muddy the waters and will drop it as soon as the election is over or when the production of documents stage begins and you're dishonestly arguing otherwise, or you don't think he did anything, yet his whole staff resigned. Either way you're dishonest or stupid, not someone I want to engage in. Why would I need to come here to throw insults and get insulted? I have a life. |
Appletek:Prime example of how Tribalism rots your brain. Anyone who is honest about Nigeria understands the lack of a maintenance culture. Are you arguing it was a good use of resources to outfit the train with carpets and cloth seats when some of our roads aren't even paved? Lagos should have had more modern infrastructure years ago. It's good that it's being done now, but the fact that it's something you see as some huge accomplishment is the problem. And when we do it, we have to start making good dollar and cents decisions and hold people accountable when they don't. Nigeria can't succeed because dullard tribalists like you exist. |
