Company that makes the audio enabled earrings has responded.

Following the presidential debate on Tuesday, social media users theorized that Vice President Kamala Harris wore audio earrings on stage. The Germany-based company that sells the earrings said on Wednesday that the resemblance between Harris' earrings and their audio earrings "is striking."

On Tuesday night, Harris wore what appeared to be gold and pearl earrings while debating former President Donald Trump. Social media users compared the earrings to NOVA H1 Audio Earrings, which are wireless earphones. Media outlets and other social media users examined the earrings, coming to the conclusion that Harris' earrings are from Tiffany & Co., not NOVA products.

Just the News requested comment from Icebach Sound, the Munich-based company that sells the earrings.

"We do not know whether Mrs. Harris wore one of our products. The resemblance is striking and while our product was not specifically developed for the use at presidential debates, it is nonetheless suited for it," Malte Iversen, managing director at Icebach Sound, told Just the News on Wednesday. "To ensure a level playing field for both candidates, we are currently developing a male version and will soon be able to offer it to the Trump campaign.

I doubt he would say Kamala wore their product, I wonder why he said they are coming up with a male version suitable for Trump . IOW big chance that the Kamunist cheated @ the debate.
This is so utterly nutz. What do you think this would have accomplished?
She is the Vice President, I'm sure the US government has better secret transmitters than that.
Did you look inside her ear canal? Are you sure that's her real ear? How do you know she doesn't have an embedded brain chip? How do you even know that's really Kamala? I mean she did sound less word salad-y? Right. Here's a thought, maybe they replaced Trump on the way to the stage.
You're being really lazy in your conspiracy theories.
Russia must be paying double-time post debate.

That's serious. BIDEN PLEASE DO SOMETHING TO HEAL THE SOCIETY.
Not much he can do.
This is a Republican State. And the US Constitution allows states to control certain things.
As part of 'ObamaCare', the Federal government allows them to expand Medicare(the Federal government helps to pay for some of the healthcare) for the states underprivileged. Because of politics these states won't do it.
At some point the residents of these states are going to stop voting against their interests just to "own the Libs".

Mississippi sees 900% rise in number of infants born with congenital syphilis
Medical professionals attribute the increasing cases of disease to inadequate prenatal healthcare and understaffed workforce

Mississippi has registered an alarming rise in the number of infants being treated for congenital syphilis.

According to hospital billing data shared with NBC, the number of babies who have been treated for the sexually transmitted disease has increased by more than 900% over five years.

Ten newborns that were born in the poorest American state in 2016 received treatment for the disease. In 2021, 102 newborns were treated for the disease, including at least one who died, according to the Mississippi state health department, NBC reported.

Syphilis is a contagious disease that is mostly spread through sex, but babies can also contract the illness from infected mothers. The disease produces an ulcer in the area where it entered the body, which usually appears between 10 and 60 days after infection.

[Congenital syphilis can cause a variety of issues in infants, including disfigured bones, severe anemia, enlarged liver and spleen, jaundice, brain and nerve problems such as blindness and deafness, meningitis and skin rashes. Depending on how long a mother has had syphilis and when – or if – they received treatment, the disease can also result in miscarriages, stillbirths, prematurity and low birth weight.

“This seems like something that should have happened a hundred years ago, not last year,” the medical director of the state health department-run Crossroads Clinic, Thomas Dobbs, told NBC.

“There’s really kind of a shock,” said Dobbs, whose clinic is in the state capital of Jackson and who told the outlet he spoke to healthcare providers who “are absolutely horrified” that babies are still being born with congenital syphilis.

In a statement on Twitter, Dobbs said that “delayed pre-natal care is the primary healthcare risk factor for newborns with syphilis,” adding that the disease is an “entirely treatable problem”.

Medical professionals attribute the rising cases of congenital syphilis to inadequate prenatal healthcare – which includes syphilis testing – as well as an understaffed workforce that has been strained by the Covid pandemic.

“The numbers have been skyrocketing and I think, like so many people, the public health system has been stretched,” the medical director for infectious diseases at Memphis’s Baptist Memorial Healthcare, Steve Threlkeld, told WREG News Channel 3.

“This is just one of those examples where we have the data, we know about the cases but you have to have the manpower to diagnose the patients, then do contact tracing and follow up to make sure they’re continuing to come back for treatment,” Threlkeld – whose hospital is just north of Mississippi’s border with Tennessee – added.

Across the country, cases of congenital syphilis have more than tripled in recent years, according to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. More than 2,000 cases were reported in 2020, marking a record number of cases reported in one year since 1994.

Everyone was warning about this and could see things like this coming.
This is a consequence of Trump and Republican's war on Science and Health Care esp. women's health care.
This was some of the prenatal care that was provides at places the Republicans wanted shut down due to Abortion.
This is a Republican Red State. Republican states are the poorest and have the worst health care.
Biden can provide the funding for this stuff, but these Republican governors won't take it.

Not to press her on questions, while they do so to Trump.

And when Trump was talking about immigrants eating pets, you do know he was referring to people like you and me. Black immigrants.

See the slowpoke

You first said it never existed and now you are saying it is Ammended?

The bill effectively bans a medical inquest or criminal investigation (or both) following the death of a new born child up to 28 days.

This gives the mother or parents the freewill and immunity to do as they please with the child within the 28 days window.

You can't even digest the copy pasta you posted .
There is no law in the US that allows infanticide or post birth abortion.

Sometimes Bills are ambiguous in it's language or doesn't account for certain cases the drafters wouldn't have envisioned. The Bill you mentioned was amended to make it clearer and account for those situations. That is the process of drafting bills.
The current Bill does not say that and whatever the ambiguity was, was cleared up.
And as a poster mentioned it is impossible for the bill to be secret. It's not how legislation works in the US.

Again, there is nowhere in the US where post birth abortion is legal.
Anyone interested can download the bill itself or google it or current articles about the current Bill.

Educate and enlighten yourself about the world you live in

The bill AB 2223 was passed and it allows for post birth abortion up to 28 days after birth.
This is why Republicans and Trump love low IQ, uneducated people. They pump this stuff to people without the ability to research them themselves. That bill you referenced was amended. Don't believe me ask the California Catholic Conference There is nowhere in the US where this is legal.

“This change definitely closes the door on potential unintended consequences of permitting infant deaths…”

California Catholic Conference (CCC) Executive Director Kathleen Domingo released the following statement regarding amendments to Assemblymember Buffy Wicks’ Assembly Bill (AB) 2223:

“Today, Assemblymember Buffy Wicks’ AB 2223, which came to be known as the ‘infanticide bill,’ was amended in the Assembly Appropriations Committee to confirm that a woman will not be investigated or charged for experiencing miscarriage, stillbirth, abortion, or ‘perinatal death due to causes that occurred in utero.’

“This change definitely closes the door on potential unintended consequences of permitting infant deaths due to abuse, neglect, or abandonment, alleviating the concerns that the CCC brought to the author’s attention.

“The State of California Health and Safety Code already states that a baby born alive after a failed abortion needs to be provided the same care of another infant of a similar age, and the Code also maintains protections against fetal homicide.

“The California Catholic Conference is grateful to the Assembly Appropriations Committee, and to Assemblymember Wicks and her staff for working with us to clarify and narrow the bill language. The CCC will be removing its opposition to AB 2223 and will remain neutral on the bill.”

I copy paste from Facebook. Moderators in a debate should take an oath to execute the debate impartially. They should be surcharged . If a tweet text your vote to a cellphone number got someone jailed , how about this disgusting behavior by mods when 70% ( ? ) of the voters were tuned in.

ABC NEWS Anchor David Muir, you lied about late term abortions. There are seven states that allow for late term abortions, with NO restrictions and they are as fellow:

Washington DC
Vermont
New Jersey
New Mexico
Colorado
Vermont
Oregon
Alaska

Donald J. Trump, was correct on this issue as well. It is crystal clear that ABC NEWS was biased in their moderator duties and DID NOT deliver a fair debate.

The moderator last night LIED again, always verbally supporting Harris while calling Trump a liar -- he spoke Truth. There are actually 9 states that have NO BAN whatsoever on abortion no matter the length of pregnancy. TIM WALZ the VP candidate - has had EIGHT babies BORN alive that were failed attempts at abortion, and those babies were set aside an allowed TO DIE ! In fact, Tim Walz last year, signed into law a bill that removed a requirement to try to save the life of a baby born alive after an attempted abortion. -- POINT OF pointing out these lies and misrepresentations by Kamala: WHAT ELSE is she not being truthful about? Her agenda?
Your argument is akin to, why did the refs call a red flag on the player who kicked the opposing player in the face nowhere near the ball.
You don't seem to be concerned that Trump repeatedly lied about things he had been called out for repeatedly in the past.
But, you seem to be upset that he was called out for those obvious lies.

If you are upset that your candidate can't win a debate without obvious lying. The issue may be with you and your candidate.

Xavier5:
MY THOUGHTS ON THE U.S PRESIDENTIAL DEBATES

I know it's coming late, in my defense, I was uninterested in commenting on it, but nevertheless I later felt the urge to do so.

The debate to me was nothing presidential, but everything of a Hollywood comedy sitcom where two adults that called themselves presidential candidates spent at least 90 percent of the time, one, lying, and two, rambling or blaming depending on who was speaking, all these without talking extensively on policies.

Trump was a pathological liar, and off-pointed rambler. Kamala Harris was a pathological liar and blamer of Trump for all the misfortunes that had befallen the country under the Biden-Harris administration. I can't count the number of times I had to scream or utter,

"Jesus!!!!! Trump that's a lie."

"Trump for fück sake, stay on track and answer the question."

"Trump enough with the millions and millions of illegal immigrants pouring into our country... and fücking answer the question."

"Mr 'the illegal immigrants are eating our dogs, cats and pets'."

"Mr 'concept of a plan'."

"Woman, Trump is not responsible for that, Biden and you should take responsibility."

"But you've been the vice president for three and half years Kamala, why didn't you ensure such was done. Why now?"

"That's a lie, Kamala!!! Trump never said that... that's not true."

"Really Kamala!?... project 2025, national abortion ban, Trump is anti IVF... really!?"

"Don't tell us your history Kamala, answer the fücking question!"

"Mrs 'Trump caused it'."

"Mrs 'Bidenomics is working, but we need to fix the economy'."

I watched the debate hoping to see two minds talk deeply about policies, but no, all I saw were two aggrieved teenagers in adults bodies settling personal "you did not take me to prom night, and this is the reasons why I didn't do it" scores. It was an eyesore. I have to admit, the Nigerian presidential election was way better than this junk we call presidential debate. So much for being the champions of democracy.

Funny enough, Trump and Harris in their White orange masculinity brain, and black Indian feminine brain respectively would think they won the debate. So ridiculous.

WHO WON THE DEBATE?

Well, I'm tempted to say none, but Trump's finishing statement was the finisher. So because of that, I would say he won the debate by hitting home with that one despite his uncoordination, lies and off-point ramblings.

Kamala talked about very few beautiful polices e.g $50K tax deductions for small and medium size business start-ups (which I personally support), but if she really had the intentions of serving Americans with these policies, why didn't for the past three and half years of being the vice president of the United States of America ensure it was done, or at least made the effort to do it? If she really cared, why didn't she do it? She was and is the VP for three and half years, why not work with Biden to execute at least some, if not all, of those "sweet policies".

* You want to help the middle class, why didn't you do it or make efforts to do it for the three and half years as the VP of the Biden-Harris adminstration?

* You want to fix the economy, why didn't you do it for the three and half years as the VP of the Biden-Harris adminstration? And please remind me whose administration brought such inflation to the economy again? And please remind me who said Bidenomics is working?

* You want to establish a two state solution to end the Israeli-Hamas war, why haven't you and Biden made any effort towards that these past months?

* Regarding securing the border, tackling the Russia-Ukraine war, and restoring abortion to the federal level, why didn't you, in partnership with Biden, do them or made efforts to do them for the three and half years as the VP of the Biden-Harris adminstration?

If she didn't do them or made efforts to them, why and how should and can we trust her to do it?

Truth is, I was expecting Harris to address the elephant in the room... the elephant of the incompetence or underperformance of the Biden-Harris adminstration especially in matters of economy, border security, energy, global wars, cancel culture, radical woke etc, and why and how she was going to be better. If she had done this, she would have gotten my support.

As a liberal... moderate liberal, I'm not a supporter of neither, but after this debate, if I'm to pick a side, I would go with Trump because of;

* His concluding speech.
* Harris failure to address the above stated elephant in the room.
* Trump's performance when he was the president.

And that's my tiny tweeny two cent.

#Xavier
You're both siding this.
Imagine sitting in front of a fire hydrant/hose and trying to drink from it. That is tantamount to what any debate with Trump is like. It's a torrent of lies, BS and teenage insults. In that environment it is impossible to have a thorough debate on substance. It doesn't work when one party can lie every time he opens up his mouth. Go back and look at the past debates with say Obama and Romney. What has changed recently that's made the debates less policy driven.. Trump. The tell is that half the country supports a man that still doesn't have a health care policy 9 years later and thinks tariffs could take over tax revenue, that hospitals kill babies post birth and that immigrants eat dogs and cats.

And, honestly, you are making this argument with the belief that only if people did things perfectly will things be perfect. Biden could have made all the right economic decisions, that doesn't mean everything would be perfect esp. after Covid. There is inflation in Canada, they are blaming Trudeau. What you should do instead is look at the alternative policies and see if they would have made things better. What policies have Trump or the GOP proposed that would reduce inflation? None. Tax Cuts, inflationary. Tariffs, inflationary. Lower interest rates, inflationary. It's voodoo economics. That is the reason the Economy tends to fair better under Dems. They are comfortable letting the science(Economics) work. That is the reason an evil company like Goldman would endorse a Dem like Kamala.

Biden's failure was not explaining to the country what would happen. The same thing happened with Obama. The Republicans didn't want to bail out the auto companies, were talking about austerity, all the BS Vodoo economics they are known for. What happened. Obama stuck to his guns and the US faired better than other countries.

1.) Why invade when you could just get Trump to destabilize NATO and then have Trump let you take Ukraine, once he's reelected.
2.) The US was spending 300 million a day in Afghanistan. Add that up in 1 year and compare that to what we "gave" Ukraine.
3.) We don't really give Ukraine a lot of actual cash (we do give some). We give them money to buy US weapons or supplies which then also supports the economy in those areas where the factories are located in the US. And they tend to be Republican areas.
Also we give them old weapons which we would have to spend money destroying anyhow. And there is actual value in seeing how our weapons work "in combat".
4.) Ukraine is not the US. We are basically hiring an army (Ukraine) to fight Russia and advance our interests while US troops stay safe. Sounds evil, but that is what Big boys do on the world stage.

Look at Nigeria and the international businesses that are leaving because the government isn't investing (spending more money) on things like infrastructure. One could argue that child care is even infrastructure.

The interviewers were fair and square. Although Trump was able to overpower them a couple of times, Kamala tried and failed, I think about twice. She's not an assertive type it seems.

Kamala had a slight upper hand in the debate because she was more eloquent with her presentation. However, it was obvious she was trying too hard to dig into her audience's emotions, even making the mistake of omitting men when she was calling out casualties of war---"women and children." Meaning she was addressing women. angry For many of her answers, it felt like I was listening to one of those motivational self-help books. yuck! Do better Kamala!

Towards the latter part where she was reporting on current administration performance were her most impressionable moments.

Key questions, like efforts to curb Russia's infiltration, the war in Gaza, Russia's threat, and couldn't rebuke alot of Trump's claims like the EU now depends on Russia for oil. That would have been great Trump (pun intended) cards.

Everybody is concerned about Immigration, the media has done a "great job" of reporting immigrant crimes from all over the West. Kamala didn't properly address that attack from Trump (He kept hammering on it grin grin grin). These were Trump's most impressionable moments albeit presented like an 8-year-old throwing a tantrum.

Trump made some slip-ups which I think Kamala could have hammered on. I like how quiet he went when the reporter called out his bluff on the "chop dog issue." Kamala wasn't quick on her toes here.

There was room for Trump to rebrand his stance on abortion laws, but he ended up dodging that question. The states bleh bleh bleh. But, he did state that even Kamala couldn't fight them. On this matter, to me, it was a stalemate.

Trump did a great job of tying her with Biden. Kamala was too gracious and did her best to not throw Biden under the bus. But, some statements she made did though. Instead of blatantly stating that "Biden hates her" I believe that could have been put more poetically. Don't expect much from demur from Trump though.

One thing's for certain. All the criminal allegations against Trump weren't beaten as I hoped, and it was obvious seeing how quickly he dismissed them. Kamala didn't hammer on that as I thought she would. She's very lucky she didn't have any scandalous allegations like Hilary. I guess her lawyer instincts were stopping her from making claims that would come back to bite her. Oh Kamala, Trump likes to go low, so go lower next time!

If Trump were in her shoes, he'd have won this debate by a landslide. Trump would have smoked her pretty easily, given that's what he does best.

Trump had a great opportunity to offload claims of inflammation on Kamala, but he didn't have the figures to back up his rants. What a great opportunity he lost. Kamala quickly turned the tables around and left Trump trying to muster any figure that poped into his head.

I'm surprised Trump didn't bring up taxing the rich. I was waiting to see how Kamala would defend that claim. hahahah.....omo, I for don gather list of all her donors! Trump fvk up for this debate.
This was fair.
Some gripes. Abortion was probably one of Harris's best answers that night. Wasn't close. Trump was all to happy to not talk about it anymore. It's a lose lose. He loses more women or he loses his evangelical base.
As to the war casualties, she said women and children as she didn't want to get into trouble as men could be seen as combatants by some.

You are right, Harris did miss some good opportunities, a couple more than you mentioned. But part of it, is what she went into the debate to do. She wanted to do no harm. And you have to understand, that black people in the US are seen as Angry and temperamental, even more so black women. She was trying to walk the line of being tough but not being seen as an Angry Black person, or a temperamental woman or both. I think she pulled off what she wanted.

Yes, if Trump had all the ammunition Kamala did, he would have pummeled her with it, just like he bulldozed his way through the moderators. But that's because Trump is a white man who can get away with that and that's who Republicans and their base are.
But, there is no universe that this version of Trump beats Kamala. This was his one chance. She'll be more prepared, understand how to debate him, haven't done it, and she will have more confidence next time.

Compare and contrast. Just look at how many times Kamala was pressed vs Trump

Trump walked into an ambush. He was definitely caught off guard by the 'moderators' being pro Kamala. I think he did well enough considering the circumstances. He landed some jabs but not a lot you can do with a biased umpire officiating the fight.

If they do debate again Trump really needs to be surgical and keep it short and sweet. He's a natural talker and can sometimes talk himself into trouble. Kamala is an intellectual featherweight. This is someone that got destroyed by Tulsi Gabbard ffs
Trump lies about demonstrably provable things. They could have fact checked him all night. They didn't. You can't have a debate when one person just pushed provable false things. He puts ABC in a bad position of pushing disinformation to voters. Trump should try not lying.

Someone you think got destroyed by Tulsi destroyed Trump. What does that tell you?

What is your point?
Even CNN did it.
It's actually easy to tell. It's like someone saying they were undecided on Tinubu but the way he's run Nigeria has made them support him. It's bullshit, they were never undecided.

Why Does CNN Keep Featuring “Undecided” Voters Who Are Anything But?
A man portrayed last week as undecided has in fact left a long online MAGA trail. Was it just a mistake, or is CNN misleading viewers for the sake of compelling television?
