They need to read a book to know that the Hamas controlled ministry of Health in Gaza inflates fatality counts and any info they give you must be very scrutinized.
This is factually wrong. The ministry of health numbers are generally trusted if not even low. A lot of people buried in rubble.
At the end of previous wars the Ministry of Health numbers matched what others including Israel ended up reporting.

Good article on it

@bold, Israel literally compromised to give East Jerusalem under Ehud Barak that was a big compromise. Israel has mostly agreed to every peace plan that I know of the PLO under Arafat rejected every deal. Every of them, that is not a people that want peace they don't want Israel to exist and unless they embrace peace this unfortunate war will continue that is why Shapiro was right in that 1993 article.

Also, I stand by what I said those students I see on TV defending Hamas or being pro-Palestine are dumb and ill informed or those schools are not sending their best. They are getting their information on TikTok and SAT scores are not the only measure for intelligence. Ted Cruz, Hawley, Alito and Thomas even dumbo Kavanaugh went to those schools. grin grin
Go take a look at the proposals. The Palestinians wouldn't have had a contiguous state and would have still been subjected to Israeli rule over their country. They were negotiating from a place of weakness.

I'm sorry, you've jumped the shark making arguments that students from top 10 colleges are dumb and ill informed and get their information from Tik Tok. You're riding the Republican train that knowledge is gained through some form of osmosis by just sitting on your couch.

I've think you gotten it mistaken, Ted Cruz, Alito and Kavanaugh are brilliant. You have to be to get into Harvard or Yale Law School or be the editor of a law review or clerk for a Supreme Court Justice (outside of those who got the clerkship through privilege). They have just made the choice to act uninformed because it aligns with their goals. If you asked them privately, they'd probably agree that their arguments intellectually dishonest.

Oh, I listen to what they are saying and I read their placards and that is why I cannot ally with them. Seeing them calling for the annihilation of Jews and justifying terrorism God forbid I cannot ally with a people who only hate bloodshed because they are losing but will see nothing wrong when it is done to Israelis.

It is in America's interest to support Israel.
It is in Israel's best interest just like any other country to defeat any terrorists organisation that threatens its sovereignty.
The Jewish state must exist it owes no nation how it defends its existence because no nation will stay silent and let terrorists kill its people.

No nation not even this yeye country they call Nigeria will allow it.
Ok, can you point to a few examples of some of those college students with 'placards' that are "calling for the annihilation of Jews"?

And how do you define 'terrorist' that Israel should "defeat any terrorists organisation"?

Lastly, there was a report out from a respectable agency that the true toll of deaths in Palestine is 186,000 or more, not the 38,000 that is being reported. Are you comfortable with that? Why?

Question. Do you believe your views on Israel are impacted by your Christian views?

He's winning that election and no form of election rigging or racial/identity politics by the democrats is going to stop him. Watch and see.

Since you're "on the ground", you can as well tell Cackling Kamala to leave politics and stick to what she's actually good at and that's being the "Hawk Tuah Harris" that she is. I heard she's really good with her mouth; she's an expert at sucking diicks, hence the name "Hawk Tuah" (Willie Brown can testify). 😜😂

Let her stick to that and stop deceiving herself that she can actually rule America, especially not now that Putin is running mad and radical islamists are on a rampage.

Two, I am focused on Israel because if Iran and Russia get their way against Israel and weaken the United States it is bye bye to Democracy and I do not want a world where China, Russia and Iran are calling the shots.
I want a Western allied Democracy and Israel and Ukraine's continued existence remains fundamental to achieving that.
The Vp will have little say in this policy area.

And actually Israel is weakening the US right now. It is making our support of Ukraine hypocritical. It is also dividing supplies and armaments we could be giving Ukraine. It is driving our countries like IRan and Russia closer together. It is also costing us tons of money (how much do you think it costs to send troops to shoot down missiles because Israel had to assassinate someone in a sovereign country)? How much money do you think it will cost us to bribe all those Middle Eastern countries to help us shoot down those missiles?

The US understands that part of war and having power is a hearts and minds campaign. Israel seems not to care. And we are getting equated with that. And that in the long run makes us weaker. Terrorists aren't born but created. That's why the US tries so hard to "project"(whether it's true or not) a global image of justice.

They do. Even dummy Ben Shapiro took one of these students to the cleaners they get their information from TikTok. No brilliant mind will justify October 7th and carry water for terrorists. I see some of these students talk even me that didn't go to an Ivy league school is way more intelligent than they are and that is me being realistic. Are you not aware that Qatar and some Arab states donate millions to these Universities and that is in part why their students are teachers are sympathetic to these people? There is an investigation that some of these protests were orchestrated by these people so let's wait for the complete report. Those students are useful idiots who do not read.

U.S. policy with Israel makes complete sense they are both Democratic allies what U.S. policy are you expecting to be in alliance with Islamic theocrats who are anti-Democracy and liberty and will kill LGBTQ people and hamper women's rights while believing that killing people will grant them 72 virgins. This is a no brainer.
I went to one of those schools. And, we had too many resources and too much discussion to be ill informed by choice. You're talking about students who had to get close to perfect scores on the SAT's (which test reasoning) and then 3.8 to 4.2's in school. Sorry, they are not getting their information on tik tok.

You are over generalizing way too much here.

If you think the money that is donated to these schools from Middle East countries is something you are mistaken. It is a drop in the bucket of pledged endowment money by very wealthy people including Jewish people. Look at the endowment figures.

In fact you should step foot on some of these campuses, read the names of the buildings and then visit their Hillel center and you'll understand how crazy what you are saying sounds.

This is simply about what people can see with their own eyes and it makes matters worse that these students do have the knowledge to understand the disparate treatment that has been going on. Even with the "peace plan" you say the Palestinians wouldn't accept. A "peace plan" if the position were reversed Israel wouldn't accept.

The University student protesters are infact the KKK.

There is nothing peaceful when protesting to cause inconvenience to people and destroying property. He was right.

Also the article wasn't a lie at the time he wrote it the Palestinians rejected another two state solution deal. If October 7th didn't convince you that Shapiro was right I don't know what will. They attacked Israel first and are indeed too "battle minded" for peace. Shapiro didn't lie.

Thank God that Walz is no different on this issue. So a lose-lose situation for leftists.
Any young Dem who is Pro-Palestine over Israel needs to read a damn book and get of TikTok induced Islamic propaganda.
These are some of the brightest minds in the US. Harvard, Columbia, Penn, MIT and Yale students. And you are arguing that they are stupid to understand what is going on in the Middle East and that they get their opinions from TikTok?
C'mon. Be realistic.

That they are some of the smartest minds is in fact why they are protesting. Our policy vis a vis Israel makes little sense.

The protest in Israel just like many of us who oppose Netanyahu don't do so because of antisemitism.

But the far-left does so. They don't criticise Israeli policies they hate everything Jewish about Israel that in itself is antisemitism.
Israel being a Democracy and existing in the Middle East is America's interest not radical theocratic Islamic states like Iran having their way.
You are assuming the intent of people who are protesting. Instead why don't you listen to why they say they are protesting. Some of the people protesting were Jewish.

Our current support of Israel is no longer in the US best interest but we do it anyway. That is the reason the CIA, Pentagon and State Department employees were up in arms over what has been going on recently. They have a real fear of negative blowback.

Does it look like what is going on in Israel is in even Israel's best interests? Sometime friends have to be able to tell friends they are fuxing up

I can't blame her, she is surrounded by them (democrats), and to some extent she has to listen to them because they got Joe to step down for her.

I like Tim though, I am just worried about Pennsylvania... Hopefully Shapiro will still campaign for her.... But it would have been better the campaign is not starting from Pennsylvania and today.
Data has shown, the VP has little effect on winning a state.
I had a negative feeling about Shapiro from what I saw of him during the campus demonstrations. Was open to supporting him even if it gave the Dems a small chance of winning Penn. But it seems everyone thought Waltz was a better pick. From an interview I watched, Pelosi did. It is said that Obama also did. So there is something there. I'm also sure they had polling that showed some problems.

Look at the protests going on in Israel, is that antisemitism?

Israel is not the US. We have to be able to make choices that are best for the US. Look it our troops and soldiers are in the Middle East again, because Netanyahu decided he wanted to kill someone in Iran. That's nuts. Too much going on and it seems Netanyahu wants to stoke the fires of a full blown multi country Middle East war because he knows the US will always back his stupid decisions.

"We have to query whether or not we would tolerate this if this were people dressed up in KKK outfits or KKK regalia," he said in an interview with CNN's Jake Tapper in April, comparing pro-Palestinian protestors to the Klu Klux Klan.
And wrote this when he was 20.
Palestinians will not coexist peacefully,” Shapiro wrote. “They do not have the capabilities to establish their own homeland and make it successful even with the aid of Israel and the United States. They are too battle-minded to be able to establish a peaceful homeland of their own.”

What is that process that a president should use to declassify any document? Where is it?
Who is above the president to grant him permission to declassify?
For clarity
1.) Trump has never claimed in any court document ( a place where he faces consequences for lying) that he declassified those documents. In fact he admitted on a tape that the Prosecutors have that he didn't declassify them.
2.) Though a President can declassify documents (even though he hasn't claimed legally he did), there are some documents he can't declassify, such as nuclear secrets. I believe he had a document relating to nuclear secrets in Mar A Largo.
3.) Now even if a president did declassify documents, the documents still don't belong to him. They belong to the US. And when the US asks for them back he has to give them back.
4.) Now, even if we didn't know 1-3, the minute that a Prosecutor goes to court and a Judge signs off on a subpoena to get documents. Trump no longer has any right to hold on to those documents. He MUST turn over the documents. He can then later argue in court that he should get them back. When he lied and said he didn't have those documents, that is Obstruction of Justice, which can be charged individually independent of 1-3.

He will be convicted in this case by a jury of his peers even in Florida. It is as open and close as it gets. Fortunately for him he got a Judge he just appointed that rigged/shut down the case for him. Jack Smith will win on appeal, hopefully the judge will be removed and the case will continue.

Good article.
An angle of Trump's speech that few people speak about. Whether Trump believes Kamala defines herself as black or not, doesn't matter much. To most people in the US esp. white people she is perceived ad Black American complete with all the biases and bigotry that holds.

When I was a child, my dad sat my older sister and me down in our living room and explained to us the rules of race in America. A Black man born into a Mississippi where Black boys could be lynched for merely standing too close to a white woman, he met my white mom in 1972. That was just a few years after the Supreme Court in Loving v. Virginia finally struck down 300 years’ worth of laws prohibiting people who descended from slavery from marrying people whose ancestors had enslaved them. In other words, Dad held no illusions about how race worked in our society and felt it was his duty as a parent to prepare us. Our mother might be white, he told us, but in this country, that fact was irrelevant to how we would be seen and treated. She might be white, but we were Black.
....
I cannot say exactly how I knew I was Black before my dad sat us down, but I knew. Everyone knew. With my white family I was not white but part white. With my Black family and in the rest of America, I was Black. In American society, this race rule is so embedded that it is not even questioned.
....
The irony of the moment was sharp: the head of a party that has justified a four-year campaign seeking to attack and ban books and school curricula about Black people and this nation’s history of racism by arguing that Democrats are obsessed with racial identity was now attacking Harris for her racial identity.
....
Or that even as Trump was denying Harris’s Blackness, his surrogates had spent the weeks since she became the presumed Democratic presidential nominee engaging in racist anti-Black tropes of Harris as an incompetent, lazy, “low IQ” diversity hire who, in the tradition of the Black Jezebel, had slept her way to the top.

This is CNN admitting to spreading anti Trump propaganda to help unseat him yet they get to host debate
You're talking points are stale. You should get them updated. CNN is mostly owned by a conservative Trump donor.

The leading shareholder in Warner Brothers Discovery is John Malone, a multibillionaire cable magnate. (Malone was a chief architect in the merger of Discovery and CNN.)

Malone describes himself as a “libertarian” although he travels in rightwing Republican circles. In 2005, he held 32% of the shares of Rupert Murdoch’s News Corporation. He is on the board of directors of the Cato Institute. In 2017, he donated $250,000 to Trump’s inauguration.

Malone has said he wants CNN to be more like Fox News because, in his view, Fox News has “actual journalism”. Malone also wants the “news” portion of CNN to be “more centrist”.
