They’re sic kening
Outside of a few I can never remember their names or their general disposition, so I keep getting surprised by some really backwards stuff.

They are... and it seems by seeking information from people least likely to have it, they want to stay that way.

All join. The thing is, if we now come to the "human" space - and leave God on one side, and we set our heart to do good - as God requested, we will see that 8 out of 10 times, most liberals and others listed earlier, and this is perhaps due to their ignorance of everything Godly and true, or out of sheer stubbornness or just outright disgusts for Godly things, liberals like to go against God's command and his words!
You sound like a very young Chrisitan.
Your description of the Word and how it applies to Trump is barely coherent.
No shade, you should endeavor to grow in your faith.

A person's support of Trump speaks more about their faith life than anything else they can say or do.

1 Corinthians 13:11. 11 When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways.

bros, I am NOT a prophet. How will I know? What's clear though is that the guy hates everything evil plaguing the Western world today: multiculturalism, lgbtqi, Islamism, Wokeism, liberalism, abortion, etc - things that if we weigh against God's words and standards - again, according to what we have seen and read in His words, they are abominations, evils and sins to Him.
You should really open up the New Testament and read the Word.
It's like you have this pretend notion of what the Bible really says.

When you have a faulty baseline you continue to make silly arguments that make no sense, There are more than 10 top schools in the country top students want to go

Besides the Ivy Leagues there are other top schools that top student want to attend the Uchicago, Northwestern, Caltech, UCLA, Berkeley, Vanderbilt, MIT, Duke John Hopkins etc

Carson could have gone to any of these schools and come out with the same outcome in life as the best Neurosurgeon of his generation

Your poor Maths, logic and basic reasoning is shocking
Yes, the top ranked student wants to go to the 11 ranked school by choice..
Just like the 3rd ranked Ben Carson chose to go to the 11 ranked school.
Oh yeah, he didn't, he was the 3rd ranked student and went to Yale.

All your arguments require people to have brain damage.
No wonder Fetterman is a MAGA now.

You are exposing your lack of knowledge here which shows you do not know anything
Is every of the 75k top 3 student in the country trying to get admitted into Yale?

If Yale admits 1500, That means the other top colleges can take the others

Its simple Maths. You are mediocre at Maths, Percentage and Logic
The numbers were there to highlight the sheer nonsensicalness of thinking if someone graduated in the top 3 of their school they would be automatically accepted into Yale.
But you persist.
So, let's do some "simple math".

Let's say that all the #1 students went to the top 10 schools. These schools accept roughly 1,500 students a year. So 10 schools @ 1500 freshmen would be 15,000 slots for freshman.
That is still less than the 25,000 high schools and their 25,000 #1 students.
So, where would the other 10,000 students go?
Because as we all know the #1 student in each school works so hard because they don't want to go to the #1 University. /s
And these numbers don't even account for the #2, or #3 student, which Carson was.

Maybe this simple math isn't so simple for you, because if it were, you wouldn't be doubling down on ur silly argument.

Reading beyond the Headline helps. Reading an entire article and understanding what is meant really helps

Like for Condoleeza like for Carson

Read and understand. This is not even as hard as percentages that you struggled with
How many times have you played this game and lost?
You post things that clearly say something different than what you think they do.

Case in point. Here is the rest of the article
I believe that I benefited from affirmative action.
In my mind, I was pretty hot stuff. Only after I got to Yale and became cognizant of my classmates’ many accomplishments did I realize that the admissions committee had taken a substantial risk on me and that I had been extended special consideration. My early academic experiences were traumatic, and but for the grace of God, I would have flunked out.
https://www.creators.com/read/ben-carson/02/14/beyond-affirmative-action
Do you see the part where he realized he had less qualifications than his classmates?
Or the part that he almost flunked out?
You are not beating the allegations that you don't have the ability to understand what you read.

But what is sillier is that you follow it up with this:
raumdeuter:
Ben Carson that was a top 3 student in his High School or another one?
There are roughly 25,000 high schools in the US.
If the top 3 students got into Yale, Yale would need 75,000 freshman spots.
If just the top student got into Yale, Yale would need 25,000 freshman spots.
Yale accepts roughly 1500 students into its Freshman class.

You are woefully out of your depth in this conversation.
I've lived it. You're Bs'ing it.

This is what Ben Carson has to say about it

Affirmative action hurts the very people it’s supposed to help by promoting negative stereotypes about their competency and professionalism.

It gives the impression that a smart person was helped through a quota which is a disservice to their abilities, The same thing Charlie Kirk was saying
The Ben Carson who wrote the article in which he said "I believe that I benefited from affirmative action"
Wtf? Can you read? I'm seriously beginning to doubt that.

But, color me shocked that a black Republican who benefited from a policy is now against it.

So, Rice benefited from Affirmative actio and became National Security Advisor. You seem to think highly of her.
Carson benefited from Affirmative action and become a Neurosurgeon. Again, you seem to think highly of him.

What was your argument again?

That is wrong. Rice was a product of Affirmative Action at Princeton which helped her get her fellowship.

Most other people presented with that incongruent information would challenge their premise.
Maybe they would ask, hmm, why did someone that you say is as Brilliant as Rice need Affirmative Action to get a slot for a fellowship at Princeton.
And them maybe consider, that if she didn't get that slot, would she have still made the contributions that she did?
And then maybe have the ah ha moment that maybe it's not about ability but giving an opportunity.

But, no, you still march on as if your argument hadn't been destroyed.

A business is to make profit, A business is not political. Its to make profit. Yu are more likely to be successful when you choose the best people

When a business decides not to choose the best people they are likely to fail

When a business decides not to select the best people they will get the results on the balance sheet at the end of the year

Sport is a great example, Teams pick only the best people to represent them and shop anywhere all over the world for the best talent, If you choose to not pick the best or you use sentiments of coachs child or nephew, you will get your results by end of the season
So a government is only political and so its goal is not to pick the best people to do the best job?
Do you think there is only one best employee for every job? And given the current makeup of the business world that person is mostly white?
Ur argument is so muddled and seems to come from a place of deep insecurity.

Black people do not need quotas just give us a chance. They can excel in plane flying without quotas and putting thumb on a scale
You say this based on what?
Your understanding of what a quota is?
Your extensive knowledge of black American history?
Your extensive knowledge of how Black Americans have fared in the work force or society being underrepresented in most fields?

Below are Trump's two cabinets.
Notice there was only one black person in both of them who held the same position in both (Housing and Urban Development).

This is a good article
The Will of One Man
The structures of self-government do impose burdens on the imperial presidency. That’s the point.
James Madison helpfully explained, writing under the name “Helvidius” in the Federalist papers:
War is in fact the true nurse of executive aggrandizement. In war a physical force is to be created, and it is the executive will which is to direct it. In war the public treasures are to be unlocked, and it is the executive hand which is to dispense them. In war the honors and emoluments of office are to be multiplied; and it is the executive patronage under which they are to be enjoyed. It is in war, finally, that laurels are to be gathered, and it is the executive brow they are to encircle. The strongest passions, and most dangerous weaknesses of the human breast; ambition, avarice, vanity, the honorable or venial love of fame, are all in conspiracy against the desire and duty of peace.
Hence it has grown into an axiom that the executive is the department of power most distinguished by its propensity to war: hence it is the practice of all states, in proportion as they are free, to disarm this propensity of its influence.

To think that the President of the US doesn't seem to know that Iran can't possibly have tomahawk missiles or understand why is breathtaking.
That he doesn't even know the capabilities of a country he decided to go to war with.
Imagine if this was Biden or Obama, but Trump, it's just another news conference.

The problem isn't just internally.
The bigger problem is with our allies.
They could have assumed Trump's first election was a fluke.
But the 2nd? That a country could elect him again? They can't have any trust in the US voters not to let it happen again.
All our old allies are probably moving 100 miles per hour on ways to decouple from the US esp. beefing up their militaries.
We've already seen that with this Iranian war and the UK not allowing the US to use its base.
That would have been unimaginable in the past.
