Excellent Article. Very good read. That the NYtimes is reporting this is problematic for Biden. I'm sure it's represented in the Polling. I know a lot of disaffected people due the what's going on. I think in the end when the decision is Biden vs. Trump, people will come home. Trump would be so much worse on the issue. The question is can someone survive on less than $20 hours a day w/o supplemental aid? I read a good article a few years back talking about how most Walmart employees were also on some sort of welfare and/or medicaid. I would assume that would also be true for these fast food employees outside of students.

So in the end, when the wages were lower, these companies were socializing one of their primary input costs(wages) yet privatizing the profits. Maybe the public good of cheaper fast food is worth it. Maybe we should do more upfront subsidization of the industry instead of the backdoor way (people also applying for benefits). Maybe we should tier the jobs based on age, young students are allowed cheaper wages.

I think it's a good discussion to have, unfortunately, in this political climate we live in, impossible.

Technically, they didn't need Stormy to testify, but the Prosecution has a good case why her Testimony was necessary. It was a good decision.

1.) Trump's attorney's made a tactical mistake. In opening statements, they argued that Stormy was lying about having sex with Trump. Because they did that, it allowed the Prosecution to go into further details/description of what happened to rehab their witness and prove she wasn't lying. Trump's attorneys could have easily stipulated that they did have Sex and left it there and the Judge wouldn't have agreed to further details coming out. I think the decision was borne of both not having a defense and Trump probably telling them to attack Stormy. He was worried more about the political optics of admitting he slept with a Porn Star while his wife was pregnant than the court case. And it hurt him.

2.) Trump has claimed he didn't know about the payment to Stormy and at the same time if the payment was made it was made for Personal reasons not Political reasons. So, by Stormy telling her story, it allowed the Jury to understand why Trump was so concerned about letting the story come out weeks before the election. Look at the uproar it's caused now.. imagine if it was right after the "pussy grabber" tape was released. So, her details bolstered their case - He paid her off to hide it for political reasons.

Making it simple. According to court filings the photo was staged.

1.) Julie Kelly got it wrong and has fooled you.
The box she is talking about is not what is in the picture. She got the exhibits wrong, maybe purposefully to fool people like you.
2.) This was a staged exhibit photo as all exhibits are staged. You see the 2A there? It's like cops do when they seize drugs. They stack all the drugs on the table and take a picture of them all.
The investigators found all the classified data in that room, laid them on the floor(as that was probably the only place big enough) and hid the documents without proper classified jackets (you can see the white). The goal was to show all the documents found in that room for evidence documentation purposes. If the FBI wanted to frame Trump they would have added classified jackets to all of them.
3.) Trump has CCTV. He was watching the search real time and probably has video of it. If they thought the FBI was framing him by faking classified dcoucments, he would have released the video a long time ago. He hasn't.

Now for you. You don't live in the US. Why do you spend so much time and effort on getting in the weeds on US policy/legal issues that don't affect you and you clearly don't understand? Lastly, the DOJ didn't leak this picture. This picture was an exhibit from a response motion the DOJ filed, explaining Trump had top secret documents, because Trump stupidly sued in Civil court saying they were his documents. A case Judge Canon allowed, your friend Jule Kelly propagandized for and a conservative leaning panel of the appeals court unanimously overturned and stopped.
