budaatum:I even think influence peddling is a loaded term. I'm not sure that's what he was doing. Look it. I just redid my fence. I was quoted 11k. And that was a good price already. The installer came by and said he would give me a discount of 3k if I let him put up his sign. I thought about and and agreed as long as it was tasteful. He paid me to basically advertise in my neighborhood. He did a great job. Win win for everyone. Me, him and any neighbor who needs good work done. So, things like that happen in every industry. Is it always fair/right? Maybe not, but Hunter Biden isn't the first one. This is the republican MO. They politicize everything. If they really have an issue with this, make laws against lobbying or "consulting". But they won't because as soon as James Comer leaves he'll join a lobbying firm or board of some company making tons of money. It's exactly how Devin Nunes found himself on the board of Truth Social. What expertise did he have to run a social media company? |
budaatum:In Big Law, Finance, Consulting, Lobbying etc. people are paid big money because of the networks they are in and thus the people they can bring in. If I have a great idea and need financing and have a friend who knows a bunch of billionaires, it only helps me. If a partner of my law firm knows a bunch of billionaires who need lawyers, it benefits my law firm. That's one of the benefits of going to top law/business schools. The people you meet. Because they hire these people doesn't mean that they are doing bad things, it just means they have more access to sell their products. And it could be good products. I'm not saying what Hunter Biden was selling was legit, I don't know. But I am saying, arguing because he was being paid because he was a Biden, and that is somehow illegal, misunderstands how networking works. Also, if the argument that Biden wasn't selling anything tangible so his work was illegal is the new standard. That means a lot of the stuff big consulting firms like Bain, BCG, McKenzie etc. do would be illegal. What do they sell besides ideas? Same with lobbying firms. |
bemeruca:You should switch back to ChatGPT. You aren't making much sense. Sounding as illiterate as ever. Who would have thought, a career in internet fraud wouldn't have taught you English. |
basilico:And your attempted insult betrays how what you really think of my intelligence. You really believe the I am any well written poster who posts here. Lol.. |
basilico:I don't agree what what she/he wrote. I think the analysis is wrong and her/his view of Biden and electorate is wrong. But her/his post seemed reasonable enough not to argue. And generally if people's posts are reasonable enough, I don't care where he/she may be posting from. But since you brought in an understanding of "the situation on the ground". I think it's fair to understand where our perspectives come from. So, why don't you ask Laurene where he/she is posting from. |
raumdeuter:You can probably answer most of these questions yourself or already know the answer. But most of the things you write can only be written if you assume you are only looking for a surface level discussion or talking to someone who has 0 clue about any of this. Ex. 1.) You are talking about Democratic interference. Of course Democrats want to win, but how are they doing it? Not by not allowing Republicans that ability to vote like you want to do with IVF and abortion. But by telling Republicans more about the candidates that are running. Dems aren't lying about the candidates. And no one is forcing Republican voters into choosing nutty candidates who scare everyone else. So instead of worrying about Dems, you should worry about why, when Republicans are giving choices of candidates, they always choose the nutty ones who are unelectable by the broader electorate. Again, your argument can only be made if you are talking to someone without more than a surface level understanding of all this. 2.) The gerrymandering argument. Yes Democrats Gerrymander. But they have done it as a means to not unilaterally disarm, and are even more stymied by Supreme Courts in their respective Democratic states. But given the opportunity to get rid of all gerrymandering, Democrats would vote for it, Republicans won't. Just look at the new Democratic Voting bill. So, to make your argument, you have to believe that Republicans in Congress also want to end Gerrymandering and didn't just filibuster a bill to make sure it didn't happen. That Supreme Courts in Republican states generally don't have an issue with it, whereas Supreme Courts in Dem. states do. Also that current Supreme Court didn't uphold it because Republican appointed Supreme court justices don't have an issue with it while Democratic appointed Supreme Court justices did. But we know all those things to be untrue. 3.) In terms of being in Power for 12 of the last16 years. To make this argument you have to define "in Power" to mean that being President makes your party "in Power". But that is not how the US functions. As I'm sure you are aware the US government has 3 branches and a President can't pass laws without the votes of the Legislative Branch. Your stat also curiously stops in 16 years why not 24? I did say the last 20 years. In that case it would be Democrats have been "in Power" for 12 of the last 24 years while Republicans have been in power for 12 of the last 24 years. So, you are even trying to gaslight some more with the dates you purposefully chose. But even so, I can name things the Dems have passed that have made America better, start with the ACA. Or how Obama got us out of the recession. Or Elizabeth Warren and the CFPB. Or the new Infrastructure Bill. Or the Chips Act. It's your turn. But all this makes my earlier point. For Republicans to make an argument, they have to rely on obfuscation and gas lighting. I asked you precise things and you followed it up with surface level bombast. |
raumdeuter:It's not Democracy. But that is the way Republicans see it. They win to just win or for power and use strategies like gerrymandering to do so. And the goal of winning is to implement policies or more strategies they know they couldn't get through if voters understood them or had a chance to vote for them. Which in turn helps them stay in power more. You're arguing that politicians should lie or keep what they are planning to do for the American people a secret so they can get in power. What is the purpose of putting them in power then? When you say Dems are "propping up the weaker candidate". Democrats are actually just running ads pointing out what those candidates are saying and Republicans are voting for those candidates. If Republicans are voting for those candidates because of their policies, why does that make them weaker candidates? Oh yeah, those policies are weak to the non-nutty, general electorate. Everything the Republican party is for is precipitated on gaslighting Americans. What has the Republican party accomplished in the last 20 years that has been popular with Americans or moved America forward? I can think of two signature accomplishments, the Iraq War and the ending of Roe v. Wade. Both are very unpopular, so much so that they are even scared to mention either now or run on them. Winning is not the name of the game. Governing and making American's lives better is. |
bemeruca:I'm sure you're busy today looking for more ways to hack into Naira lander's personal info to leverage it into whatever scams you're running. I know you enjoy that fraud life, but you should probably get a real job. |
raumdeuter:You'd prefer they enact rulings through fiat, where people don't have the option of giving their input? This is democracy. Maybe it should be a clue for politicians that the idea that they have been pushing for decades and everyone is aware of is sh*t . And that they should stop pushing it, if they are afraid to rule on it so close to an election so people can vote on it. But nah, it's the fact that it's so close to the election that is the problem. |
Obrigardo:He sexualizes any and everything. I agree, it's very odd! |
wirinet:Unfortunately, I don't think Trump can sell the shares for maybe 6 months. Somebody was/is manipulating the stock and making money though. The SEC needs to investigate. |
Obrigardo:I should have, well shorted it, that is. Didn't know the financial statement was coming out today, so didn't expect it to lose so much today already. Well happy at least the Trumpers are losing their shirts. Could have been a nice steak on the MAGA's dime though. Hopefully the MAGA's learn a good lesson in crony capitalism. |
bemeruca:1 John 2:4 NIV 4 Whoever says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person. |
bemeruca:Isaiah 29:13 (NIV) 13 The Lord says: |
basilico:And Bemeruca/Fraudmerica is neither the web designer, Admin nor Owner of Nairaland. He has no ability to legitimately get the IP's of anyone here. In fact I doubt any Network admin of any reputable site even Nairaland would hand IP's over without a court order. Yet he has some of my IP's and the IP's of others here because he used an embed link to phish for those IP's. It's not necessary to have to defend everything. You should ask yourself why you feel the need to defend this. |
basilico:Programming since 10. In fact in competitions for both Coding and Math since then. You sound jealous. My high school, not even talking about university had better facilities and resources than any place you've ever been. Period. Full Stop. Coding is logic. And honestly I can tell just by the way you write and the things you post here you'd be shit at it. Same with Bemeruca, his is worse, his logic is terrible and he's not even literate in English for someone that English is his primary language. And someone who just learned what a proxy is shouldn't really be opening his mouth. |
bemeruca:There is nothing you can say or post that I would believe. You lie easily, have already been caught manipulating images and posts here. You're a proven liar. You don't even know what a white hat hacker is. You used an embed link with a whack tracker. Very sloppy and amateurish. Like I said, you're a baby wanna be hacker. How do I know, I've been coding since I was 10. We're on different levels. I'll leave it there. Trying to give you hints, but you don't to listen. You seem to be in a downward spiral and it seems you're looking for assistance in getting there faster. |
bemeruca:I'm sure you're transporting your Range Rover as well. What I find hilarious is that you're such an illiterate loser trying so hard to prove to me you're not an illiterate loser that you have allowed me to bait you into admitting that you did setup that embed link to try to hack my computer and phone to figure out who I was. In fact, it's clear you did do it as there was no way of you knowing that I was running windows 10 and Chrome 122 on that virtual machine without that link you set up. Well done. Here is the virtual machine I use for random stuff. Look at the date Windows was setup or I setup the Virtual Machine. Can you be anymore of a mark or an illiterate?
|
bemeruca:Just to be clear how much of a fraudster wanna be baby hacker/programmer you are. I was running a Vpn on top of a Vpn inside a virtual machine. That is the IP that you have from your embedded link that I purposely clicked on. I run Windows 11 on my main machine.
|
bemeruca:I promise you, you are barking up the wrong tree. You are a fraudster and wannabe baby hacker/programer. |
bemeruca:I don't have a VPN on my phone, as I don't use my phone for much. You have 0 idea where I live or my name. As, if you did, you would know your threats wouldn't phase me. So, don't waste your time and save the threats for someone your threats may bother. |
bemeruca:I was wondering why you kept mentioning T-Mobile as T-Mobile wasn't/isn't a big residential ISP. I get it now. My company also provides me Internet services for travel which my phone connects to when it's on. The service is provided through T-Mobile. So I probably clicked a link from my phone which was connected to that T-Mobile gateway, which doesn't have a VPN and that's one of the IP address you have. But, I haven't connected to it for a while. So, as I assumed you've been embedding links with IP trackers for a while. Congrats, you have the IP for a work provided device. Makes it easier as I'll just reach out to my IT department and have them deal with it. I should be shocked the mods are still letting you post here, but it's Nairaland. I'm sure you are proud of yourself, which says everything about you. |
basilico:Lol. Bemeruca spent the day lying about this, only for you to come and write this. Lol. Gotta love people whose immediate instinct is to lie and gaslight. But, well done. Glad you researched it and learned about IPs, proxy servers, and why you IP address said you were in America. And well done explaining to Bemeruca/Fraudmeruca, one of the situations where an IP can give an exact location. You sound literate about it now. Only wish you could do the same with the politics stuff. Research it, that is. But you are making some assumptions in some of the things you've written. But, I'll leave that there. And outside of the situations where you can get exact locations, IP's do give you region location. But, the region location isn't the limit of an IP use. There are also ways to get personal information from your ISP with your Ip if someone really tried. And there are other uses, that I won't get into. Bemeruca repeatedly posted those phishing links because he thought they could be useful. And I think the most pernicious part of all this is the amount of personal information that people in this thread give out that they think is innocuous. Personal information that hackers would love. As to the the ban. I don't report people outside of Sexual harassment, Tribal Slurs/Racism or extreme harassment. Though I probably should have done more reporting. I don't even know what you wrote, but very suspect you didn't mention what you banned for. |

bemeruca:Mr. Yahoo Fraudermeruca (haven't decided between that and Fraudmeruca, 419ermeruca, YahooBoymeruca) Some decisions to make. Nairalander Caught Hacking Another User's IP Address https://www.nairaland.com/8032958/nairalander-caught-hacking-another-users#129139314 |

bemeruca:We've seen this lie fest before. Tell us again what happened to the Benalvino3 account after all this lying? Banned! benalvino3:
|
bemeruca:This is the absolute deviant psycho sh*t about you. Basilico didn't even try to lie about what he said, he obfuscated by talking about gibberish. Because we all can read his words. He's in Nigeria saying his IP tells him he's in America, so IPs don't geolocate. He said that because he didn't understand he was on a Proxy based in America and what a Proxy does. And I've beat him up for over a week about it. Yet, he didn't lie about what he meant. But you, you took the baton from him and weaved a lie about what he said, who in a week of saying it, hasn't tried to lie himself about it. That is deviant sh*t. You are clearly a fraudster and someone who seems comfortable lying and committing fraud to achieve whatever your end is. Like you tried to edit the tracking embed links you posted and lied about it when you got caught. As if Nairaland mods couldn't see you edited them, and then banned the Benalvino3 account. Truth is malleable to you, like your fraudster friend Trump. |
bemeruca:😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 |
Obrigardo:Good point. I should have taken a long, short position on Monday. I don't think it'll significantly fall off until Trump gets his money from it or after the election. I haven't followed it since I bought it then sold it a while back though. (I did feel dirty buying it, and had to justify it by the belief that I was fleecing Trumpers) |
bemeruca:Fraudermeruca, another attempt at your obfuscation. His words are there, anyone who reads them can infer from them what they want. You're an illiterate and you have a reading comprehension problem so it's no surprise that's what you go from that. bemeruca:One illiterate supposed technologist defending another illiterate supposed technologist. Someone who is in tech, who says he is in IT, doesn't know IPs geolocate? 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 |
bemeruca:We should call you Fraud inc. You manipulate quoted posts, manipulate Nairaland Generated images and manipulate links to embed trackers. You're showing your frauding range, Fraudermeruca. How many of your accounts have been banned to at least 2031? Lol.
