Phones / Advise On Phone To Buy Within 200-300k by Ijelenwanyioma: 1:51am On Sep 12, 2023
I need a good phone within the range of 200-300k. I don't really like China phone and iPhone. I like Samsung though but don't know the actual one that will give me what I want. I just want something with a good camera and battery. Also I don't like fairly used phone because of the problem that always accompany it.
Please your advise is highly needed. God bless you

Romanoff:
It is very high and she will need phototherapy. Delay could be dangerous as poorly treated jaundice can cause cerebral palsy and serious developmental delay.

The doctor who asked you to do the test shoumdt have let you go hoke with the baby, them spos admit that baby.

Under phototherapy, the bilirubin level will be tested every 48 hours to know if its coming down, it would have come down below 12 before they'll discharge. I pray the child won't even need blood transfusion.

This isn't pawpaw water matter.

Run to the hospital with the baby. Let a doctor tell you if it can be treated at home or not. Google children with "cerebral palsy" so that you can know what you're joking with.
Thank you ma. We are in hospital already and he has been under light since 2pm

Please from this result, how severe is the jaundice? Is it something I can manage at home with sun and unripe pawpaw soaked in water or does he need phototherapy light?

EDD(Estimated Due Date),it is ESTIMATED. Every baby is different.Placenta is intact with no problem as long as you are feeding well. Just take it easy and keep busy in the house and in the other room. Baby will come when he/she is ready.Talking from someone who ended having 3 Emergency CS due to rushing to hospital for help. It is not worth it. My last birth which was a virginal birth and home birth was magnificent.

With all I have experienced, I have learnt it is best to embrace and experience birth in the most natural form. It really helps with your mental health when the baby arrives to have a positive birth story.
Thank you very much ma

Right now I don't just know what is happening anymore πŸ˜•
My EDD suppose to be 29 of July . Today I am 40 weeks 2 days. So I went to hospital on Saturday evening because the matron told me it is better I am induced now before the placenta will start getting weak. I went there and was given drip with some injection. When the doctor checked me, he said I'm 4cm dilating which I was so happy. He assured me I will give birth that night or in the morning. I was having contractions. But at night the contraction stopped, like I stopped having pains. The matron herself came to check me around 9am yesterday and told me I am 2cm dilating and since I am not feeling pains, I should just go home and come back when I feel contraction. Its been more than 24hrs and no contraction or pain at all. She just called me now that I should come tomorrow. This is my 3rd pregnancy. My first came 38 weeks, second came 38 weeks 4 days without induction o.
Please has anyone ever been in this situation?
How did it later end 😒

I experienced this in my first. It was so bad I had to use pads or tissue almost thought the pregnancy. I didn't take any drugs for it and it didn't stop until I gave birth. I didn't even know it was something to worry about because I did some research and saw that some women experience it. My baby came out fine but I noticed he had a lot of skin issues for the first few weeks, rashes, eczema, etc that cleared up later. So, in my opinion, if it's part of how your pregnancy is, treatment might not help, it will just keep coming till you have your baby. But if it's an infection, then treatment is needed to clear it up.
Thank you ma

Good morning beautiful mummies
I am 39 weeks + gone but still discharging seriously
Like a cottage cheese like discharge. When I was in 32 weeks I was given injection for 5 days which worked for awhile but started again after about 3 weeks.
I was also placed on zinnat which I have finished. Last week that I was checked by the doctor, she said the discharges is just too much and want to place me on injection again which I declined. Please will this discharges affect my baby or I should just take the injection?

He bought it with his money. I didn't contribute to it and even when I offered to give him at least a million (just want my money to be part of it) he said I shouldn't worry

You have kids, even if your name is not on his will, your kids name are so y worried?
Honestly sir I didn't mean any disrespect. I initially addressed him as my husband in the beginning and calling him "this man" is like saying "this my guy" . Atimes he call me "you this woman" at home too. I am sorry please if it sounds disrespectful but he's a man and still my husband

I am legally married to this man and we have 3 sons together. Recently he purchased some land which he actually told me about but when I checked the documents of all the land I only saw Mr(his name in full) and not Mr & Mrs (his name and surname) or Mr (his name ) and Mrs (My name ). This really gave me great concern and when I asked him, he told me it doesn't really count because the properties also belong to my children. Later he started accusing me that I am nursing ulterior motive in my heart and maybe I want to take over the properties which is blantly lies. I just want to feel ownership of the land too

Please am I overreacting on this issue truly or my husband is planning something behind me ( maybe remarrying)

I have been having this severe itches with white discharges that do come and go. So I went to my hospital and complained to them. The doctor told me to run some test and if the result show its something serious then they need to treat it. Below is the result πŸ‘‡
I was told I will placed on injection for 5 days 😭😭😭. I have asked them million times that hope it won't affect my baby and they said no. I am scared o. Is there any safe injection that can treat infection at 6months + abi they just wan collect money?

Hi mama
The severe itching and discharge could be as a result of the pregnancy...been having some for quiet a time now...though mine was general body itching with strong rashes o
I was given some injections as well...I think to ease the itching because it still didn't go away but now it's manageable

Trust your doctor to know what's best for you ma
And you dont know the injection name, you would have checked on Google
Everything will be fine
Stay safe
They didn't tell me the name of the injection ma ☹
Thank you very much ma

I had a very similar case in my first pregnancy. The discharge was unbelievable but, at a point, I just let it be after I read about it being normal for some women. Also, the itching would come and go till I gave birth. This second time, I got treated for mild infection, but it was with drugs not injection. I asked for injection but the doctor insisted I use drugs instead. So, I think, from my experience, excessive discharge in pregnancy is normal with some women because I wasn't treated for it the last time, but if there's infection included then you will need treatment. Either way, you should seek a second opinion if you are not comfortable with what they want to give you. I called all my doctor and nurse friends to confirm before taking the drugs prescribed for me for the infection treatment. All will be well in the end, you'll be fine.
Amen thank you ma

NoToPile:
Then find a way to tell her not to come, however you want to do it. she will try to blackmail you emotionally ignore, she can come after 4 months or so when you are properly healed and can accommodate her whims.

A new mother doesn't need all these drama.

That said, a lot of grandmother's may not have the strength health wise to do all what omugwo entails due to old age sometimes the grandmother's get tended to by the person that is supposed to be taken care of.
This just adds more stress to the new mother if you ask me. I feel a younger person should be accompanying the old women for the omugwo but then there's also the issue of feeding two extra mouths for months. I don't know how we expect a 70 year old to cook, wash baby clothes tend to baby, press new mum's belly, go to market etc and etc.

Better still kuku let a younger person that has all the strength come along and do all the work. The mother will cope with bathing baby. Just saying sha.
I understand you sir but this happened about 5 years ago and she has not even enter 60 then. I have washing machine and market to our house is not up to 5mins walk. Even most times she will tell me to bath my baby that she's tired. I know how my mum treat other people children and she treat me differently. From my childhood, we were never close even though we lived together. She believes my father loves me more than her which is even not true. Like is it my fault for my daddy to love me?

Family / I Don't Want My Mother To Come For My Omugwo by Ijelenwanyioma: 10:20pm On Apr 09, 2023
I am pregnant and by special grace of God, I am expected to have my baby in 3 months time. The issue is that I don't want my mother to come for my omugwo. I am her only daughter but she hate me so much. At first I thought it is old age but she's just 60+ and I have seen older women treating their daughter right.

The last omugwo she came I saw hell, I gave birth on Monday and she came on Thursday. I had 3rd degree tear(that type that they will stitch from anus to vagina) I explained to her that I can't stand for long because of the pain. Meanwhile before she came, a woman from my husband place was taking care of me and she won't let me come down from bed except to eat, bath, breastfeed my baby and sleep. But when she saw my mum, she stopped coming. The woman already prepared soup and kept inside freezer on Wednesday before my mum arrived. It was that soup we ate till Sunday. On Sunday morning I asked my mum what we will eat and she told me to wait for people that are coming to visit us so I can send any of them to market and cook. Like how can I send my visitor message? So I waited for my husband and son to come back from church. I just took tea and also served her. My husband went to market and bought the things I needed to make stew. My baby was sleeping and I went inside kitchen to make stew. My mum sat down comfortably in the sitting room watching film and gisting with visitors that came to see me and my baby. I was in serious pain but I have to cook what me and everybody will eat. I served her the food after cooking and she gladly ate it. She's is neither sick or having pain anywhere.

My mother never cook anything in my house for 4 months till she left. The day I mentioned it to her. She started crying that she knows I hate her like my father. Like how? I even expected her to apologise and lie that she wasn't feeling fine that day. Among all her children, I give her more money but she always show me I am not important.

The problem is, even though this is my third child, I can barely take care of child under 1 month. Apart from cooking, my mum always makes me cry by telling me some very harsh word. She will force me to drink very hot water that I can't even pour on my skin. If I refuse to drink she will get angry and start her wahala again. I don't just want her to come to my house again for my mental health. O ti su mi 😭😭

Ur bump size doesn't affect ur baby enjoy your small bump jeje
When I was pregnant of my first child, people that know I am pregnant still ask if I am still pregnant because I was so slim and the bump was not really showing even at 7 months. But when I gave birth my baby weighed 3.8kg. Big and very very fresh. Don't worry about your small bump. Just take your routine drugs and enjoy yourself
