Romance › Re: My Sister Claimed My Hubby Got Her Pregnant But There Is More To It Than U Can.. by Ijeoma660(f): 8:02am On Apr 22, 2018 |
STOP STRESSING THE YOOTS BY MAKING THEM MOVE UPANDAN... ...just before I could end the question, I heard the horn of my husband’s car.
I left her and went and opened the gate for him to enter.
I called my mother afterward to tell her about it. My mum was on the phone with her for close to an hour while I was attending to my husband and baby. Later my mum told me on the phone; “I would come over tomorrow morning. It’s more complicated than I thought.” The next morning, my mother came and gave me the news.
“Your sister told me last night that it’s your husband who got her pregnant.” “Huh?” I screamed with my eyes wide opened. “What are you saying? How is that possible? Nooo, she’s lying, that can’t be possible.” I went around screaming and ranting but my sister insisted that was the truth. Now it was my turn to sob.
I locked myself up and cried while my mother kept questioning my junior sister on how it happened. I didn’t want to hear the details. My heart was breaking. Everything I’ve ever worked for in my marriage and the future I’d plan started melting away. The question I kept asking was “How could this be?”
By the time my husband entered the hall from work, the three of us were seated waiting for him. I could see he was surprised to see my mother but the looks on our faces got him more confused. He greeted and no one responded. He asked what the issue was and I burst out crying. After my mom had told him everything, he turned to look at my face and looked at my sister’s face and asked; “Are you people joking? How can I do that?”
He turned to my junior sister and asked her; “Who got you pregnant?” She didn’t answer and kept crying. Then she asked me; “You sister is pregnant and you couldn’t tell me?” I retorted; “who should tell you? Didn’t you know she could get pregnant when you were on top of her?” The whole situation got messy. I insulted him. I really did. I called him names. Unprintable names. My mom didn’t go direct at him but made a lot of insinuations. He kept saying my sister was lying.
My father was told the next day and he couldn’t believe it either. He came over and spoke to my husband. My husband kept repeating that he was innocent. We made a decision to help my sister get rid of the pregnancy. Then my father said to us; “I will take this one (my sister) away but I can’t decide for you and your husband. Decide for yourselves what will be good for you.”
My family left us but even before they leave, I’ve decided for myself already. I wasn’t going to stay in the marriage. I was going to leave as soon as possible.
The next weeks that followed, I couldn’t look at him. He didn’t say much either. I got a new nanny and buried myself in my work just to help me forget. That didn’t work. I called for separation and he obliged. He agreed to leave the house for me and the kid and wasn’t going to contact me until I made a decision. He finally packed out.
Almost seven months after separation, I decided finally that I wasn’t going to stay married again. We did the traditional divorce and started the court one. That took us a very long time and major twists here and there but finally we went through with the divorce. My husbands calm through it all surprised me. He accepted everything I suggested and was willing to get through with it once and for all.
Divorce done. I got my life back on track and seemed to enjoy the new direction my life was going. Three years after the divorce, I met a friend of my ex-husband. During the conversation, he told me my ex-husband was living with him throughout the whole period leading to the divorce and he had nowhere to go because his family rejected him. They called him bad luck so, after the divorce, he gathered all he had, sold them and traveled to the UK. I told him, “We all have to pay for our sins somehow.”
Just about a year ago, my father invited me home. He said; “You need to hear this for yourself. Come over.” When I got home, there was a man, my junior sister and both my dad and mom were seated waiting for me. I smiled and greeted them. “Is my sister going to get married that man?” I asked myself. Immediately I sat down, my father said; “Pastor here’s my first daughter. Now you can talk to her.”
The pastor began; “You sister narrated a dream she’s been having lately to me. She said for one month now, the dream keeps coming—someone chases after her, stab her and take off her womb to feed to the vultures. I asked her if she had wrong anyone. At first, she said no. Upon lengthy discussions and reflections, she confessed to me that she lied about your ex-husband and it led to the divorce. Somehow, I feel she’s burdened and it’s about time she told the truth. So here we are, asking you for forgiveness.”
From nowhere, tears started flowing. I tried to stop it but it wouldn’t stop. I couldn’t bring myself to say anything. I was broken—shattered actually. I looked at their faces and told them; “I’m not the only one suffering because of her lies. My ex-husband couldn’t stand the shame so he had to sell what he had and leave the country. My son will grow up without the love of a father. I can’t forgive on their behalf. They have to do their own forgiving but like I always say, we all have to pay for our sins somehow. I’m paying mine for believing in her lies. Let her pay for hers too.”
I got up and walked away with my tears.
The week that followed, I tried locating my ex-husband to at least tell him the truth and apologize. I finally got his number from the friend I spoke to recently. He didn’t act surprised when he heard my voice on the phone. He asked about his son and how I’ve been doing. I told him everything. I told him; “My junior sister said it was the idea of the boy who got her pregnant to find someone and give the pregnancy to him. She didn’t know anyone but you. Plus, the boy promised he would be traveling to abroad and come back for her. With the pregnancy, everything could change. She was just a girl so she believed the boy and did what she did.
I said sorry to him several times. Still, he didn’t act surprised. He only said; “I’m glad the truth came out finally. I’m doing fine.” He laughed and I laughed back. |

Ijeoma660: Here is my little story...
21/01/18 Successfully mounted my PV array with 4 x 250wp, 3kw cc 04/02/18 I increased my Solar array to 6nos with the addition of 2 x 325wp PVs 09/02/18 Replaced my 4 x 200AH very old batteries with 2 x 200AH 09/03/18 One full month, I have not used my generator. i only support the system with PHCN. 10/03/18 For the first time we did not have PHCN for a full 24hours and I have depended on Solar all through the day and night with TVs and fans running on auto cruise.
The attached picture is my readings around midday!
Congrats to all of us.
PS: I have contributed my little quota in minimizing greenhouse gas GHG emissions and reducing the impact of global warming to preserve the planet for your kids, my kids and our grand kids to have a world to live in...
Ladies and gentlemen my friend has turned against me. He's been a nice guy all the while but here has landed me two blows: 1. My ground mounted panels has experienced a shift in the sun's rays and I have about 50% shadow casting over my array of panels and thus my system struggles to get a 100% full charge daily. I will have to wait till end June when the sun will reverse in its part of travel. 2. Two days ago before the heavy downpour there was a storm that blew one of my unsecured panel placed on the floor and shattered the screen into shingles. So sad I had to loose one my ground soldiers firing full bast every sunny day

kiekie1: Hello, Congrats on your solar set up . I guess you are on a 12v system and 60a cc , its best you tag your cc 60a instead of 3kw used for 48v, whilst your current cc takes 800w max for 12v designs ... I deduced total 1650w PV array from your post, your cc will only take 800w excluding losses to be factual ! Congrats once again and welcome to the solar club So if I convert to a 24v system will it take the excess being dumped? |

Ijeoma660: My surprise is not just about my tripping breakers alone as you all are right about breaker undersized capacity. Intact the first thing too on my mind was solar flares. Wikipedia to the rescue.
My main issue is that my CC is rated as 3KW, 60A mppt CC. At 581w I am already having 42Amps.
What's gonna happen at the 3kw mark? Properties › Re: A Security House Building Estimate by Ijeoma660(f): 3:11pm On Feb 20, 2018 |
I missed out a few things...[apologies]
1. The total number of columns increases from 8 to 12
Reason: Since a side of the building is longer than 3m we need to introduce another pair of column. This is infact the column on which the toilet and bathroom walls will be supported from.
2. The tie-beams which also doubles as lintels for the windows and doors.
3. Sand. a. Sharp sand for block setting approx a trip and half budget like 45k b. Plastering sand and approx a trip also like 25k c. Laterite for back filling like 4 trips for proper compaction etc approx 8k/trip
4. Water 2 x 5000litres tank maybe okay. approx 1.5k each
Caveat emptor: I admit I am no expert in this field, virtually everything I have put down here I learnt from NL property section. I have been able to implement a commercial build from scratch to finish. I engaged specialist in some areas which were critical to the construction. My efforts here is a way of me giving back to society, since I was helped too. |

Properties › Re: A Security House Building Estimate by Ijeoma660(f): 8:35pm On Feb 18, 2018 |
@Jadmchris Something like this in the picture below..?
Assumptions are: a. The footprint of the building is 2.5m x 4.2m which includes b. Toilet is 1.7m x 1.25m c. Bathroom is 1.7m x 1.25m d. Staircase is external
You will need about
1. 600 blocks @ NGN110/block and NGN50/labour i.e 96k
2. Cement: a. You will set 40 - 50blocks with a bag, therefore about 15bags or block setting
b. Another 3 to 4bags for foundation works
c. Another 4 bags for plastering works.
d. German floor and first floor slab 4 bags each
Total of about 30 bags @ NGN2,500 so you need about 75k
3. Each column will be average cost of cement/sand/rebar/formwork/labour 4k and you have about 8 that is 32k
4. Staircase depends on your choice. Concrete or metal (spiral) budget like 80k
5. Roofing of the building which is about 2.5m x 4.2m another 100k
6.Windows and Burglaries
a. Slim trim windows are preferred which is 1.2m x 0.6m for the living space. We need 4nos each is about 8k b. Toilet and bathroom windows 0.6m x 0.6m 4nos each is about 3k c. Burglary for big and small windows 3k and 2k respectively Total = (4x8)+(4x3)+(4x3)+(4x2) = 64k
7. Doors
a. Entrance doors 2nos @20k b. Toilet and bathroom doors 4nos @15k Total = (2x20)+(4x15) = 100k
8. Electrical 25k
9. Plumbing 80k
10. Painting
20litres of paint about 3nos @ 5k i.e 15k
Summary 1. Blocks 96k 2. Cement 75k 3. Columns 32k 4. Staorcase 80k 5. Roofing 100k 6. Windows and Burglaries 64k 7. Doors 100k 8. Electrical 25k 9. Plumbing 80k 10. Misc and Labour 150k
Total = 802k add 10% slack approx 882k
In the end this is just an estimate.
Cheers.

Please who can explain this phenomenon.
I experienced this upsurge about two days ago before midday. It kept tripping my CC to Battery bank outgoing breakers. I kept closing it back, then it tripped the PV to CC incoming breaker. After which I allowed the system to relax.
PS: I looked out of the window and noticed the sun wasn't as bright as there were scattered low lying clouds in the sky. But the sun's intensity was so intense through the edge of the clouds with shadows showing clear and distinct outlines around objects!
Still wondering why...

Its so funny after the first rain on Friday, I was fiddling with my panel voltage points and noticed one of them reading 10volts. I was really worried if one of it is already degrading.
Fast forward to Sunday morning. I was peeping at my construction from upstairs. [my panels are low lying and are accessible without climbing any support] Low and behold, the first rain of the year had built a thick sludge around a section of the panel, giving it a serious voltage drop.
From test and experience a liitle shading of very insignificant parts of the panel can cause a great drop in yield. As I was warming up to connect a hose to send away the 'mole' munching at my solar yield, then came the heavy downpour.
Sorry fellow enthusiasts as y'all were crying over poor yield I was seeing a natural washer-man coming along to wipe clean my peevees.
JUST IN - Everyone in the house now is gradually appreciating the beauty of free energy especially ladies. They are all asking questions bothering on knowledge transfer. I am feeling so good, they are all learning fast! |

efuro: Am sure ur PV are in parallel . I can't just take my eyes off ur low wattage and high amps.
Magnificent harvest! Ur batteries will love you. Yeah. 6nos. 2S3P. Seriously considering going back to 6P. So the system voltage operates at 35- 41v which makes it even cooler. The more heat it dissipates from the cooling fins the more losses and faster degrading of electronic components. |

Ijeoma660: Today, I reconfigured the array from a 4nos parallel system to a 2series, 2parallel configuration. With the hope of stepping up the voltage headroom to be potentially converted to current. Also with higher voltage along the 10-metre PV supply line , less losses.
See before and after pictures and share any comments you might have please. I added to my PV array to enable my battery fully charge and be on float whilst serving my running loads during the day. It feels so good to be on free energy most especially when you are on pre-paid metering.

chris81964: If you did that and are getting more than 30 V from your PV. They are bigger than 100 Watts. Your voltage will be in the high teens after the controller kicks in on 100 watt panels. Do you have the manual? You might want to connect them in series, thinner cables, longer distances and better efficiency. Good luck welcome to our world. The most I saw out of 2600 watts today was a little under 1500 watts. So if you are seeing over 300, you might really have 150 to 200 watt panels. Today, I reconfigured the array from a 4nos parallel system to a 2series, 2parallel configuration. With the hope of stepping up the voltage headroom to be potentially converted to current. Also with higher voltage along the 10-metre PV supply line , less losses. See before and after pictures and share any comments you might have please.

Sure those are some advantages of the MPPT CC On the charging power, I believe it is a function of the load [batteries state of charge] The CC is intelligent to sense the batteries state and adjust the amount of charging power (or current) correspondingly. I stand to be corrected. |
