A governor is an independent emperor who reports to no one. A minister is a mere appointee and subject of a boss.

What exactly do you want Ngige to do as a mere employee? Does he have to pick a megaphone and placards and start protesting against his employer before you will agree he's doing some work?

I meant he say the 'ills' in government. Because he is an employee,he should not speak out But when Dora of blessed memories said hers,wasn't she an employee

Is it a bad idea to 'resign' when your employer isn't doing the right thing when it concerns the citizens or is it left for 'select few' to resign or will you say he is making his personal gains as a sign of his work

At State level he makes the decisions....at Federal level he can raise matters but others have to agree before a decision can be made.

@ topic... be really got to the root of the problem.... how can a State depend on Fire fighters from another State to fight fires? About the gas stations in residential areas.... I think it is more important they make and enforce safety regulations to prevent and suppress fires at the stations.

Saying out the ills is different from taking decisions..I meant the 'ills' seen @ the federal level or as it concerns Nigerians.

Unless you are okay with the way things are in Nigeria then let him keep keeping mute.

This man performed well in state level as a governor..

I wonder what & why he isn't performing well @ the federal level

In as much I don't like naija, can we be reasonable Dor once? He was kidnapped while on his personal car without any security detail at all. He was traveling like a normal Nigerian on the high way. The kidnappers thought he was the normal Nigerian they kidnapped. If he was with his official convoy and team, he wouldn't have been kidnapped. I'm sure when the kidnappers found out who he was, they had to do the needful.

Now reason with me...

Have you thought of the officer kidnapped being on radio/TV giving you tips on how to stay safe in Nigeria?

So why quoting me & whats your conclusion?
